SANDEMANs Liverpool, Free Walking Tours

I just did the Sandeman walking tour for Liverpool. It was so good. Mike, our guide, was knowledgeable, funny and personable. I love using Sandeman tours wherever I travel to get the lay of the land, so to speak. Next time you travel look for a Sandeman tour in a city near you.

Our tour guide was called Vincent and gave a great tour. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and gave great advice about places to visit and eat. Would highly recommend.

Had a brilliant 3 hours with Vincent our tour guide. Lovely guy with so much knowledge of my home town. Learned so much today that I didn’t know. Great time with friends and exercise too. The fact it was free attracted me to it. I was more than happy to pay the ‘tip’ at the end as these guides do not get paid by the company. Would definitely recommend this to locals as well as visitors to our great city.

Brilliant walking tour of Liverpool, even in the rain. Vincent told us an awful lot about the history of the buildings and the people plus, of course, the Beatles. Really interesting and a great guide.

what a wonderful tour, Matt was witty entertaining, informative, great sense of humour! He out-humour the rain. My friend who came from South Korea he said he'd come over again just to listen to Matthew. At times his jokes were hilariously funny and educational at the same time. Great time in the rain. Best wishes from Maryana and Jiun

I've really got into walking tours around the world because they give colour and depth to what you see. But I've also noticed difference in quality. Mike knows his stuff, is passionate about his stuff and has the personality and skills to convey that to you. Everybody on our walking tour was impressed. I highly recommend him. Apparently he does Chester too so I'll try and catch him there if I can sometime in the future when my boss lets me off for a long weekend.

Thank you Vincent for our brilliant tour yesterday. It was a great introduction to your fabulous city of Liverpool. A good balance of historical context, personal ancedote and the variety of places you took us too. Wow - Liverpool - you have so much to offer - some glorious buildings and such a rich history and yet down on the waterfront a sense of the continuing dynamism of this great city. We will be back and for anyone visiting Liverpool - highly recommend Vincent and this tour.

Our tour today with Matthew was great. The story of Liverpool (not just the Beatles but some of that as well) without being boring. The sun shines on us and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I highly recommend to get a good perspective of the city!
