"Okay, you’ve just walked in. First impressions? Although it's Sanderson's green canopy that first catches the eye, the Mediterranean vibes, island-style furnishings, and welcoming staff all pull their weight, too. The man behind the cafe's concept is Sergio Lopez, one half of the regional foodie duo Tom & Serg. Who else was there? Plenty of in-the-know expatriates and Emiratis, as well as tourists delving deeper into Abu Dhabi's coffee scene. The raison d’être : the coffee. How was it? Not only can you order the usual cappuccinos and lattes made from beans sourced from the Gold Box Roastery in Dubai , but you can also order colorful lattes in flavors that include red velvet, Chai masala, and matcha. There's also a range of specialty kombuchas, along with juice cleanses and super smoothies. Was there food, too, and if so, was it worth getting? The food menu is as much a drawcard here as the coffee. Dishes like pistachio-falafel Scotch eggs, green shakshuka pide, and beet hummus toast nod to the local culture, and open steak sandwiches, Hawaiian chicken burgers, and simple pizzas cater to visitors with diverse palates. How about the staff: what did you think? Big smiles all around. The service is smooth, the interactions are measured, and the pacing is timely. Who should go here? This is the perfect spot for a mid-morning coffee or late weekend breakfast. A charming little café inside the resort (though also accessible by the public) serving great coffee, desserts, all-day breakfast and other bites. The decor has beautiful, retro vibes and accented by plants and other fresh decor. Has a kids play area outside, and view of the swimming pool, although the seating in front next to the yard seems better! The coffee was great, and the molten lava cake was delicious! Knocking off one star as it was quite pricey for what it is, but more than makes up with great ambience, cheerful staff and service.

A great cafe serves breakfast all day and beautiful atmosphere. Service was excellent too. We tried the Sanderson’s Royale Breakfast and it was phenomenal. Great cup of Cappuccino as well. Highly recommend it for families and friends.

This place is what you get expect from stand alone places. It’s on beautiful location, very peaceful and calming. Indoor and outdoor seating. Extensive menu, at mid range prices. Indoor and outdoor small play areas for kids. Great coffee and teas with small details. Amazing and attentive staff, just super busy as there were a lot of people when we went. I’ve personally discovered the place while visiting Al Seef mall. So I used malls parking and walked. The umbrella street is also in the area. Overall, good food, service and ambiance.

I visited this restaurant about 2–3 years ago and decided to come back, expecting the same great atmosphere. Unfortunately, it has changed quite a bit since then. It used to be beautifully designed, full of plants and flowers — it felt like dining in a garden. Now, most of that charm is gone; the plants are mostly removed, and the space feels rather plain with just tables. The food was still good, and the service was fine as well, but I can’t give it 5 stars. The place has lost its character and become a bit dull compared to how it used to be.

We visited Sanderson's Cafe for breakfast, My family and friends surprised me for my birthday and baby shower and it was an outstanding experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxing morning meal. The décor was charming and cozy, making it a great place to start the day. kind of a bit pricey but the menu offered a fantastic variety of breakfast options, from classic dishes to creative and unique specials. It was delicious—perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The coffee was excellent. The service was exceptional. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely interested in ensuring a great dining experience. My food arrived promptly, and the servers checked in regularly to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. Overall, Sanderson's Cafe exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of delicious food, pleasant ambiance, and top-notch service makes it a must-visit spot for breakfast lovers. I highly recommend it!

The space is filled with natural sunlight, giving it a warm and welcoming vibe that’s great for a slow morning or a casual meetup with friends. It’s quiet and peaceful—definitely one of those places where you can take your time and actually enjoy the moment. I tried two dishes during my visit: the beef bacon Benedict and the salmon Benedict. Both were nicely presented and had a good balance of flavors. The beef bacon was crispy and worked well with the hollandaise sauce, while the salmon had a fresh, delicate taste that paired nicely with the eggs. While the food was good and satisfying, I wouldn’t say it was the best I’ve had in Abu Dhabi. Still, it’s definitely a solid option if you’re in the area and looking for a chill breakfast spot. The service was friendly and attentive, and everything arrived in good time. Overall, Sanderson delivers a good dining experience with a great atmosphere. I’d consider coming back—especially for the vibes and setting.

We stopped by Sanderson's Cafe in Alseef Village after a fun swim with the kids, and it was just perfect for our hungry crew! The cafe's atmosphere is welcoming with a clean and pleasant decor. The staff were exceptionally kind, going the extra mile by providing coloring tools to keep the kids entertained. We enjoyed a delicious meal consisting of crispy chicken pasta, a fresh Margherita pizza, a delightful Prawns Poke bowl, and a refreshing Passion fruit Mojito. Everything tasted fresh and was very satisfying. The prices, ranging from 50 to 70 AED per dish, are quite reasonable for the quality of food and service we received. Only complain I would say is the size of pizza as they explicitly asked if we wanted the kids size or the adults, to which we answered we needed the adults one, and he confirmed it is good for sharing it turned out a medium size pizza. Overall, our visit was absolutely worth it, and we'll certainly be back!

Lovely seating plan, beach kinda of vibe. Comfy couches with plug in socket if you're there to work. Food is delicious. Coffee is average. The little message is cute and an added value. Yet another beautiful time is this beautiful place. Food made with love and made to perfection. The coffee art is outstanding and the coffee definitely tasted much better than last visit. The attention to details is just amazing.
