Sandors Motor Inn

Told new owners have taken over. Rooms very tired, floor tiles broken and lifting. Room was very dirty,floor not washed, toilet bowl was clean however rest of the toilet was disgusting. Lots of dirt and dust around windows and skirting,behind bedside cabinet. Very small old fridge not working properly, froze half of the fridge up. Advertise dining room and bar, all shut down and dusty. Have to say breakfast was ok but simple. The toasters need replacing, took a long time to make toast. Not all tables were set up and the ones without covers were dirty. Spent 4 nights, no rooms were serviced whole 4 days and bins not emptied, very unhygienic. Would give this place a very wide berth. Outside ambience not bad with lots of tall palms.

Classic budget model. Very basic inside the rooms. We had a family room, which for some reason was on the second floor, meaning we had to lug three suitcases (and more) up the stairs. I don’t understand why family rooms aren’t on the ground floor. The rooms were clean enough, just quite dated. The parking was atrocious, minimal spaces available, and what is available is very cramped. You can barely open car doors. The dents in the fence are a testament to that. The service was below par. When we arrived, there was a lineup of people waiting to check in at the front desk, but no staff in sight. We had to search around the motel to find someone. The only positives were that the price was reasonable (though you get what you pay for) and the location was good, within walking distance of plenty of restaurants and the local CBD.

We chose this on price and position and were very pleased we did. It is very reasonably priced, spotlessly clean and had all the facilities we needed. The continental breakfast was a surprise, with generous servings. The setting with the lush green foliage under palm trees is private and relaxing. The young couple running it are lovely, very helpful and attentive to any of our requests or questions. Well done, this is a quiet gem among motels in Mildura.

We had a lovely night at the Sandor Motor Inn last night. While the rooms are quite old everything was clean and tidy! The manager who checked us in was super friendly! We also enjoyed the continental breakfast which was very nice and included in the room price! Very good value for money!

Stayed at this property with my adult granddaughter for four nights. From the onset it was a disappointing experience, with the exception of the pool, which was clean and the location which was great for us, as we were travelling by public transport, so didn't have a car. My suggestion being, read the other reviews carefully as they all cover our experience and do yourself a favour and book elsewhere.

DO NOT STAY HERE! We stayed here once a few months back and it was dirty and rundown but coming through town late this trip there was limited options. We paid online but the owner refused to let us check in after taking our money. We got a call from a random mobile demanding our credit card details at 9.30pm on a Friday night, which was not happening. The man was horrible and rude. We asked for our money back if he would not let us check in and were told no. Followed up via a third party and got the refund but warning to all- this place is dodgy!!

Not clean bathroom ok but fatty scum around shower base. Loose vinyl floor planks generally no attention to cleaning even electric switches were dirty not to mention the filthy sofa, the staircase, balcony and the very tight car parking.
