Sandos Monaco Beach Hotel & Spa

Beautiful hotel with the most friendly and helpful staff you could wish for. All inclusive food and drinks excellent with plenty of variety. Pool a bit on the small size for such a large hotel and lifts an absolute nightmare, small and slow. Despite the hotels best efforts all sun loungers had towels and bags on them by 9 am despite the sun not getting to the pool area until midday. Frustrating as some of the 'reserved' beds remained empty for hours. Fantastic location, staff and food make all the little niggles well worth putting up with.

My husband I along with a friend stayed at the hotel for a week in June. My husband is a wheelchair user and accessible hotels are our main priority. The hotel is one of the best we have stayed in for his needs. ||Reception: When we arrived we were greeted by very friendly reception staff. (Cristian I think) checked us in quickly and explained all we needed to know for our stay. Only one room was ready as we arrived at lunchtime, he advised we should take our suitcases to our friends room and go for lunch in the restaurant and if my husband and I came back at 2pm our room would be ready. During our stay any interaction we had with reception staff was greeted warmly and politely. ||Bedroom: As requested we had an adapted room on the 1st floor that was spacious and easy for my husband to manoeuvre around. The bathroom had grab rails at the toilet and we were supplied with a chair for the walk in shower. It was also easy to get on to the balcony with the wheelchair.||Our friend had a Deluxe room on the same floor as us and she was more than happy with it. ||Restaurant: The Maitre d Raul ensured we were provided with a reserved table in the restaurant for each meal time during our stay. All the waiters/waitresses were friendly and helpful and worked very hard. The same can be said for the chefs who provided delicious food (which we are now missing) we especially liked the show cooking as it was fresh and tasty. ||Bar/snack bar: All the staff worked hard and provided a quick service despite how busy they are. On the occasions we treated ourselves at the snack bar the food was cooked well and tasted nice. ||All in all we had a fab time during our stay, so much so my husband and I are planning another week at the hotel in August this year. ||Thank you Sandos Monaco and see you soon.

Immaculately clean hotel. Great room and wow view from 16th floor. Lift took just 30 seconds to get to the restaurant. Food off the scale of amazing, especially the pork, the salads and the vast array of choices. Not a single bad meal experience. Pool and snack bar area great. Great location next to everything and 300m from the beach and seafront nightlife in both directions.

Highly recommend! This hotel is great! Great staff, rooms, food, drinks, location… you name it. The location is amazing, just a short walk down a straight path to the beach. Old town is a short walk as is the rowdy areas. But this hotel is in quite a peaceful location (amazing). Food is fresh and hot with a good selection daily. Even the snack bar served wicked kebabs! Drinks were cruzcampo beer, nice cocktails (not pre-mixed) and selection of wine. The pool was good size and we always managed to get on the loungers. Beds were comfy and the room was clean! Really really pleased with this hotel! Thanks all who contributed!

Great hotel , amazing service the staff are brilliant here, excellent choice of food , great location and the bar areas in the hotel is fantastic would highly recommend this place, more for hotel standard and its general location. I see some saying the rooms are sub standard or below par,this is not true in my opinion, it's not the hilton so what are people expecting? The rooms were clean ,had a fridge, a balcony and a great shower plus house keeping done an amazing job daily, seriously can't fault this hotel in any way. Kudos to the great team inside this hotel,from reception to bar to housekeeping and food areas, they do a great job 👍 thanks for the memories.

Hotel is in an excellent location, close to beach and bars but away from the noise. We found the food excellent, with a great choice and good quality at all meals. Rooms very good, cleaned daily. Hotel good in all respects with only a few negatives. There was a shortage of bar staff resulting in long queues. The non smoking area was disregarded, even though it was clearly marked as such. However, the worst problem for us was the fact that sunbeds and parasols were reserved for hours without being used, one near us was unused for 6 hours! This situation could easily be monitored with belongings being removed after an hour of non use. Some very selfish people even reserved two beds, one in each area to benefit from the sun and shade. These problems would not prevent us from returning to a potentially excellent hotel, but would definitely have improved our experience.

Loved this hotel! Clean, ideally located and very friendly staff. ||The food was very nice - always a great selection and I say that as a vegetarian.||We will definitely be returning!

Nice hotel but things not quite right.Outside at the terrace I sat just at the door from the inside bar did not know this was a no smoking area the bar manager think his name wasJose small elderly man came over and shouted at me to move very aggresive my partner is disabled and iam 70 this was so embarrasing even another guest spoke to him about his abrupt and rude manner.He needs trained in customer service.This incedent spoiled my holiday. I have been here 4 times before and never experienced anything like this before.Also the bar staff uniforms are terrible cheap and nasty.
