Sandos Monaco Beach Hotel & Spa

We were here for 10 nights and had a lovely holiday overall, but there were aspects of the hotel that need attention.| |I think our biggest gripe was the cleanliness around the pool. Nobody collected any empties during the day which meant towers of empty glasses being blown every where and the seagulls and pigeons picking at any plates of food left. |Nobody seemed in charge, and the cleanliness sufferered. There are photos I took of some of the 'tables' in use around the pool.||The buffet was better but food items ran out and when they were replaced - which might be a while - fresh was put on top of old. We didnt really enjoy the food and snacked a lot in the select lounge which had the atmosphere of the moon, and again wasn't checked & cleaned enough. ||The room was lovely - and the housekeeping here can't be faulted. We got the room we requested, although our complimentary cava had obviously been sat in a hot room for hours as the ice had melted and the cava was almost room temperature at 10pm when we got to it. ||The evening entertainment was average to criminal. ||The spa was fantastic. ||The location was great, and the view from our room was lovely. |We met some nice people, and some of the staff were great, others not so. ||Would we rush back? No. There are other hotels I would try before returning here.

Sando Monaco Benidorm. Firstly the staff at this hotel are exceptional. The rooms are very good, although not the quality of Sandos Benidorm Suites fantastic rooms. The food was more of a traditional Spanish flavour and I couldn't fault it, but some did. Of course it doesn't match the Benidorm Suites, where does? I found food at the Royal Princess to be more varied, but I couldn't complain at the Monaco's food. And the solo room at the Princess was poor, the hotel was noisy with entertainment aimed at children. The entertainment in the Monaco was very good, all held in a lovely concert room that is far superior to the Bendidorm Suites. The pool area was good and the hotels location is excellent and far better than Benidorm Suites. Between the two unless you stay in the hotel sunbathing eat its the Monaco in preference to the Benidor Suites. The Indian food at the Suites is not very good. Monaco is a straight 300yrd walk to Levante and not much further to the old town. Take warm clothes after mid October. Some were swimming in the pool and sea in mid November 2025.

Just back from Sandos Monaco hotel. Had a brilliant time. The location was great. We didnt hear a sound at night time. We stayed all inclusive. The food was delicious and Im picky. Loads of choice. You get a meal with wine in the Indian in the sister hotel as part of your stay. Its a lovely place and staff so courteous. There is a kettle and fridge and you can get tea coffee and sugar on request. Everyone was very pleasant. Im totally mistified at some of the bad reviews. We will definitely come back to the hotel and I would recommend it to anyone.

Nicely situated hotel, quiet surroundings at night. Short 10min walk into old town. 5min walk to the beach. |Plenty of choice and variety of food in the restaurant area for all inclusive. Very clean hotel with lots of comfortable sitting areas. Majority of people return year after year. I’ve been there 6 times now. No doubt will return again in the future, as I know what to expect when I go to Benidorm.

Had a good stay here, food lovely considering all inclusive. Rooms dated,if they changed bed covering a curtains would make a huge difference. Didn't have much to offer for special occasions though, my husband tried to arrange something for my birthday only thing they offer is cake and wine. Pool area can be shaded too which is a shame.

We spent 7 days at the Sandos Monaco. on the all inclusive option. We were a little apprehensive about going to Benidorm. We need not have worried. The location of the hotel is ideal. In a quiet area, close to the traditional old town and the lively strip in the new town, yet far enough away if the strip isn't to your liking. A short walk to the lovely beach and promenade. The food is good, plenty of choice, as are the drinks. The staff are very hard working, polite and helpful. The Hotel is spotless, the rooms are spacious, plenty of storage, comfy, clean beds, air conditioning, fridge, kettle, cups and saucers. Tea and coffee is provided on request at the bar.. Shower gel, shampoo, handwash and body lotion provided. Hairdryer, safety deposit box. The entertainment is what you would expect in a Hotel. Not fantastic, but acceptable. |We visited the Sandos suites for Indian meal. The Hotel and Restaurant are lovely, however, the curry wasn't very good. That said, we would recommend the Sandos Monaco and would definitely visit again.

Just spent 5 nights at the hotel and was very happy with the location. The hotel rooms and beds were very good no complaints there. The only problem was with the dining room and the food. Tables were too close together and the food was nothing short of abysmal. Not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel. Every other aspect made up for the poor quality of the food. Food was cold and salad choices very poor.

We've been visiting the hotel for years; I think we've been there about twenty times. One thing is a shame, if you don't book directly with Sandos Monaco, you no longer receive points in the rewards program. Sandos Monaco this could be better ;-) !|It's odd that as a loyal guest you even have to pay for a safe, the rental price of which is almost as high as the new price of the safe itself.
