A magnificent, authentically local hotel complex located in an idyllic bay... crystal-clear water, a tropical palm garden... a large infinity pool... incredibly friendly, attentive but not intrusive staff (especially Krishna, the Front Office Manager, who welcomed us so warmly and was always helpful during our entire stay, as well as all the staff in the breakfast and dinner areas; we particularly remember Anyuschka, Alicia, and Scott, who always anticipated our every need, and of course the two charming and ever-friendly ladies at the live cooking station for eggs, pancakes, and much more, who remained calm even under the greatest stress ;-))... Beautiful, large, and very comfortable rooms with sea views... very clean (cleaned twice a day). The only downside for us: the mattresses were too hard—but they immediately provided two mattress toppers, which made it much more comfortable. Which other hotel would do that? :-))... Highly commendable cuisine, both at the breakfast buffet and for dinner... daily changing themed menus (Asian, Indian, Mediterranean, Italian, etc.), so that even at the end of our four-week stay, we still enjoyed eating at the hotel. In addition to the main restaurant, there are two other restaurants... many complimentary activities such as snorkeling trips, glass-bottom boat rides, kayak rentals, water skiing, etc.... We had a fantastic stay over 7 days. The hotels has a breath taking view on arrival. The staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful, from arrival staff, to cleaners, to bar and waiter staff. Everyone is here to help and make your stay and relaxing as possible. We would recommend doing walking and biking trek which is put on by hotel free of charge. Jonathan made our walking and was one of the highlights of our trip.

Absolutely amazing. The service was perfect. The staff were so nice and attentive. Great facilities. The food was delicious and varied from day to day which was great. The live music in the buffet restaurant in the evening was also great. |Everything was clean and was kept to high standard everyday. Also great that children under 12 aren’t allowed, which insured a calm vibe at the resort. Perfect for a relaxing holiday.|Would highly recommend to visit this amazing place. |Really a 10/10 experience.

We quickly felt welcome in this beautiful resort with amazing mountian view and beach sunsets. The staff is Incredible for all their effort making out 30th wedding celebration worth the long flight. For those who know... we forgot what day is was on day 3! Relaxation set in. Kudos goes out to Gino (wine recommendations & more), Sandy for exquisit beach service and laughs, Pela and crew for water sport activities, breakfast eggs omelette wishes of all sorts with a morning smile every day. We had lots of fun and enjoyed what Sands and the Island has to offer.

We had an absolutely unforgettable vacation in Mauritius! Everything was perfect – the rooms were spotless, the hotel was impeccably clean, and the service was beyond amazing. We had a wonderful stay at the Sands Suites Resort & Spa in Mauritius. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and offer a stunning view of the ocean – truly a highlight! The bathroom is excellent as well: modern, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything you might need. Breakfast is the same every day, but it leaves nothing to be desired – a wide selection, high quality, and a great start to the day. In the evenings, the hotel hosts weekly changing themed dinners with delicious food and plenty of variety. There’s truly something for everyone. The entire resort is beautifully maintained, with great attention to detail, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We also really enjoyed the spa – professional service, a calm setting, and a wide range of treatments. The beach is very quiet and perfect for relaxing. We recommend wearing water shoes when going into the sea, as there are some rocks and corals. We would definitely come back and can highly recommend this hotel!

We had an exceptional stay at Sands Resorts in Flic en Flac, Mauritius. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding — every staff member was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The resort itself is beautifully maintained with stunning beachfront views and lush gardens. The food was another highlight, with a variety of delicious options that catered to every taste, whether at breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The quality and presentation were consistently impressive. What truly sets Sands Resorts apart is the range of activities included. We enjoyed snorkelling right off the beach, glass-bottom boat trips, and paddle boats — all provided at no extra cost. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. Overall, Sands Resorts delivered an unforgettable experience. We left feeling relaxed, well-fed, and thoroughly entertained. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Mauritius!

Fantastic hotel to stay, the hotel offers a nice pool area with bar and food available, you can relax or walk in the beach, the sunshine is amazing. The people in this resort are fantastic, and they are all the time making your stay special. It is a quiet place with modern and spacious rooms with games available near the bar and music at night. I really recommend the restaurant in front of the beach that you should book as soon as you arrive in the resort. They offer two tennis court and a spa area with a jacuzzi and sauna that you should book as well. The gym is small.
