Sandspur Beach was a lovely find! We visited at the end of May and the water was warm (warmest I've experienced in the USA, because I'm from Massachusetts) and inviting — plus it was pretty empty, which made it even better. There was plenty of parking available for a small fee.
The sand was soft and pleasant to walk on. The only minor issue was some seaweed near the shore, but that clears up once you go a little deeper into the water. Restrooms were available, though they closed about an hour before the park itself, so plan accordingly.
The surrounding area also offers beautiful views — perfect for snapping some peaceful nature photos. Overall, a calm, relaxing beach day!
