Great pub and great outlook! We got 3 starters and the Barramundi for eats and the first 2 starters were a bit of a let down. The scallops at $28 are rather expensive (which I don’t mind paying if they are great) but the scallop really didn’t stand out with the mish mash of other ingredients going on, plus they were a bit overcooked. The jalapeño poppers didn’t have a real chilli hit at all and would be lucky to be a 2/10. I’d also swap out the bacon for some chorizo mince and maybe chop in some fresh chilli to get them to a 5/10 and a bit of coriander, kudos however for at least making them yourselves and not using the bog standard frozen crap👏. The only reason I ordered the poppers was because I spied them on another table. The tacos were bloody sensational and better than the Taco de Cartel ones that is trending in Brisbane atm, that we had yesterday. By memory they were a pork and chipotle and I’d drive back up just for them……..if you’re reading this to sort out menu choices grab a plate of these.👌 The Barra arrived as I was getting some more drinks and my partner had smashed half of it by the time I got back (sorry about the half eaten pic) but it was superbly cooked and the Gribiche dressing on the spuds was a total winner! We were there on a Tuesday and the service at the bar in the middle was painfully bloody slow and I’d hate to see it on a busy day! I missed half the Barra because of this. Also the smell in your men’s toilet was not good at all! Needed a pee after the drive up from Brisbane and that smell is not great before siting down for a lunch. Overall the food was not awesome across the board as the prices suggest it should be, but the tacos and Barra definitely saved it. The menu online is hard to find and not up to date with what was available on Tuesday too btw.

This year we went to the Sandstone Point Christmas festival. It was great fun. The highlight was seeing & giving a hug to a live reindeer for a photo op.. Oh and sitting beside Santa in his sleigh (no shame, I am a grown woman and still LOVE Santa photo ops lmao) - We were the 3rd group through (alongside my step mum), and yes, we let some little kids go first lol. The stilt walkers were pretty amazing, such balance. The singers & dance performances were well received. there was a smattering of market stalls. We fell in love with an purchased some bags from Seastainable bags (google them they're fabulous! ) Some rides (we didn't indulge here) Food trucks and drinks trucks to complement the established Sandstone point food & drinks offerings. Loads of people, all well behaved. Loved seeing the matching outfits some families wore, so cute! We purchased our parking ticket alongside our entry tickets online- which I believe was the better option - tickets cost a little more at the gate. We didn't stay for the fireworks but it hear they were fantastic.

Emily is an absolute asset to the hospitality team. From the moment you’re greeted, she is warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. Her customer service is outstanding — she goes above and beyond to make sure guests feel welcome and well looked after. Emily works efficiently under pressure, maintains a positive attitude at all times, and clearly takes pride in what she does. She made the experience memorable and enjoyable, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone. Exceptional service!

The food was great and location is an epic place to bring the family. We went on a Saturday and it was hectic busy. Obviously a very popular spot and rightfully so. Playground and arcade for the kids, large open gear areas for play, a soccer setup with goals and large areas for seating/eating.

The perfect venue for anything. Love this place.❤️ Bands, food, layout. Service and hospitality Only problems ive had is the 3 events ive taken my friend in a wheelchair too. Great wheelchair venue if not raining. Not enough concrete area outside to watch bands from when it rains. Had to leave and not see Rob thomas as no where for my friend to stay dry and impossible to push chair even over rubber path to accessibility area near sound stage. 5 out of 5 for a clear day But when a security guard has to help you push the chair out of the area to get to toilet, bar, food, it proves tge rubber mats are pointless and impossible to Travers in wet weather, and bribie has a lot of wet weather. Didn't stay in rooms so did not put star rating. Please ponder making an accessible area available in all weather. Its outstanding they support companion card 👏 ❤️ We tavel 2.5hrs as this is a preferred venue for everything. Keep up the great work 👍 Love this place, you can buy gifts, fairy floss. Its magic

Absolutely amazing service! Zane and Donna at the bar were great, made the best cocktails ever. Zane made us a birthday cake martini and it was absolutely sublime. Highly recommend. Oysters and pork belly were amazing too.

Chaotic food options or lack thereof Went back here for the first time after 2 or 3 years and booked a table at the restaurant for lunch for 4 of us. On arrival after waiting for 10 mins we were shown to a table inside with an atmosphere best described as RSL like. Meanwhile my partner had looked outside and had found a lovely table under an umbrella which was much nicer. We asked the waitress if we could move to the outside table and were told that we would not be able to access the full restaurant menu outside but would have to order from the pizza menu or the bar menu. Knowing this we took the option of the outside table as it was much more pleasant. When it came to ordering food we had 3 pizzas which we ordered from the pizza joint and our 4th person opted for the chicken burger from the bar menu. When I attempted to order the chicken burger from the bar I was informed by the smirking barman that there was no food available from the bar as the restaurant was too busy. In the end we opted for another pizza for our 4 th guest. I appreciate it’s a busy time of year but what I don’t understand is why the restaurant is so under capacity in terms of the seating available. It was 2:15 by the time we were ready to order which is hardly peak period. Could do a lot better would be my call.

Yelp
We went to meet a long time friend of my sister in Ming. We were able to have a great dinner at their restaurant. Excellent location and the outside dining patio has exceptional view of Bribie beach and bridge. The restaurant place was so inviting. The view of gardens, ocean, fishing boats and has a petting zoo for kids were absolutely stunning. The food were excellent also. Papaya salad was fresh. Loved the tangy, salty and spicy taste. The Macadamia Barramundi was the best. The fish was perfectly cooked The Morten Bay prawns were spot on. Cooked beautifully. Curry special with rice was one of the recommended. Crème brûlée was a silky soft custard with caramelized sugar on top. The land skewer meat was kinda chewy. We have to order first in cashier and they bring it in. Water needed to ask for them for refill. No attendant during dinner. Required to go in the counter to order menu. Overall it was a great experience and reunited with old friends .

Yelp
Traveling through this lovely town ... and thought the view from this very large place would be great for lunch. Even though they had several staff taking on the host's job of finding seating - we seemed to have found the one staff member unfazed by seating us (day tripping middle aged no kids) in the middle of the kids zone with no view. There also seemed to be some civil war going on between the restaurant side and the bar side. The whole experience was dismal. We just left .

Yelp
The view of Bribie Island from their back porch is beautiful, as is their food! I'd give this place 5 stars if they had table service and if they hadn't tried to give my friend a totally burned pizza. We arrived around 4pm for very late lunch/early dinner, but they only had the bar menu available. Oh well, they had some interesting looking dishes on deck, and my friends and I ordered the Mexican burger, the pulled pork pizza, and a rigatoni pasta dish. The rigatoni was delicious, according to my friend, and my burger was surprisingly full-flavored with a healthy handful of fries (could have used a bit more aioli for them though). They originally tried to hand my friend a pizza that was 100% burned, toppings and all, but he sent it back immediately and they remade it perfectly.

Yelp
This place is large and has a cool set up. A great venue to enjoy some beverages by the water. There is a restaurant serving your usual bistro options including steak's, chicken, pork... on the Saturday they do a pig on the spit. Strangely they have a cafe that only serves breakfast on a Sunday which we stopped in for. They weren't overly busy and the service was friendly although a little slow. The coffee was nice as was my breakfast, a haloumi stack. My wife had the eggs benny which unfortunately was a little cold. They also have an oyster shed, serving seafood by tge water. A nice spot to have lunch on a sunny day. There is also a big grassed area for families to picnic and enjoy a beverage while the kids play. This is a great spot and well worth a visit if you are on Bribie

Yelp
I came here with a large group mid-week for brunch and it was perfect on a sunny day. The venue is huge! There's a large area for outdoor seating, indoor, and then a bar extension connected. There's an oyster "shack" that's closely located if you were looking for something from the raw bar. While the ambiance was nice, my steak nor my party who also ordered steak was cooked correctly so they could definitely work on getting the steak temps right. My piece of meat was also too fatty for me to eat so I never finished it. Afterward, we went to the bar area to watch some of the races and enjoyed the bar service there. A few improvements but overall a very nice place to come with friends and family if you're in the area. I also liked the little home decor offerings they sold in the restaurant. Cute selection of things.

Yelp
The setup of this place is amazing, it has a few restaurant options, the same with the bars, a couple or bars and a huge green recreational area to play and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The only downside from my point of view was the service in the main restaurant, the waitress where kind of rude and it just didn't match the amazing atmosphere that they created with the design and architecture.

Yelp
A beautiful spot to sit in the afternoon sun and listen to some live music with a beer in hand!

Yelp
Restaurant was very loud and crowded. Had very little Gluten Free options. Gluten free pizza bases looked grey and yuk. Toilets were dirty and had fluid on the ground along with toilet paper.
