Sandvilla Guest House

We had a perfect stay at Sandvilla! Josephine was a fantastic host — friendly, attentive, and full of helpful local tips. The room was clean, cozy, and the bed very comfortable. Located only 5 min walking from the town center. Paid parking was conveniently located nearby and easy to access. All in all, a wonderful place to stay while in Oban — highly recommended!

Really don't know where to start ! So let's start with the host Jo', extremely helpful and VERY polite lady. Ok the room, no 4 on 2nd floor window overlooking small parking area and grass bank. Room is perfect for single or couple for short or LONG stay. The bed is so comfortable you won't wake up , bed linen whiter than white !Cleanliness is 2nd none. Hanging bar for clothes is ample +2 bedside draw unit's. Small FRIDGE / TV / hair dryer. Kettle and tea/coffee etc provided. Toilet / shower with liquid soap provided.. Just 10 mins walk from town centre.I stayed for 4 nights and WILL Definitely STAY again. Hopefully pic's att.

Beautifully decorated, clean rooms. Good sized ensuite and hot shower. Friendly hosts and perfect location for the town.

Clean, comfortable, safe. The management was also excellent and very friendly. Really went out of their way for us. Will definitely book again.

Myself Fiona and Peter checked in 19th July checked out 21st July we had room 1. I can say that this accommodation was perfect, room was spotless bed was so comfortable, hosts were friendly and very accommodating lovely couple, close to all the beautiful sites of Oban. We stayed here for one night. The room was really nice, the nicest of our trip around Scotland. It was cosy and comfortable. The location is very good, close to the centre of the town. Josephine provided us with a map of the area and some tips for where to have breakfast. We also had the opportunity of booking a parking space. We recommend that if you can't climb stairs you ask for a room on the ground floor.

If you are looking for a lovingly appointed, immaculately clean guest house close to the town center, look no further. I had a relaxed, quiet, delightful 3 night stay. Sunny skies helped, but equally sunny and helpful was the proprietor Josephine. And a 5-minute walk to town center. |The room was ample, en suite with thoughtful upgrades like a fully lighted mirror in the bathroom and decorative full length mirror. Bed was scrumptious. |If you are looking for included breakfast or community sitting room you might want to look elsewhere but for me, Sandvilla and its most reasonable price were quite the treat.

Cracking B&B!!! This was our first time staying here and it won't be the last Check in: Very smooth, we arrived early and wanted to drop our bags off, our room wasn't quite ready so Josephine took our bags and then Just gave us our room key so we could go straight to our room when we got back in. Room: Gorgeous! With a super comfy wooden framed bed, squishy pillows and a big fluffy duvet, bliss! There is a wee honesty box and a basket of water, chocolate and crisps. There is a decent sized kettle, a hair dryer and plenty of drawers to put your belongings in along with a cupboard with a rail. The room is a decent size and absolutely immaculate. The towels are fluffy and the shower has a decent flow and gets nice and hot. The shower gel and shampoo smell amazing! I'm going to ask where they are from so I can get some. There is one tiny drawback about the room and it's the location. It's right next to the front door and the dining room so you hear people, chatting and checking in. I think this room is a great option for somebody who may struggle to get upstairs but I think you should be asked if you mind having the room because of it's location. Don't get me wrong nobody has been over loud but you are aware of the people passing the room. One other wee thing, the selection of tea, coffee and hot choc is great and this is just a personal thing it would be nice to have maybe some peppermint or fruit tea in the options too. Breakfast: lush! You get a piece of paper the night before and circle the things you want on your cooked breakfast. There is a continental option too. In the dining room there is an assortment of cereals, yogurt and fruit. The bacon is yummy, really thick slices and really tasty. You get a decent sized portion. I ate over 4 hours ago and I'm not even peckish :-) Highly recommended! We will be back
