This place was beautiful! Lots of amazing items to look at. The ladies working were so nice and friendly and had encouraged you to take pictures if you wanted.

If you are in the area definitely check out this shop. There is something for everyone. I could have spent hours in this shop. It was so unique. The staff here are so friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back.

No photos of the inside because I was so thrown by being asked to leave my average size purse behind the counter that I forgot to grab my phone. Of course EVERY - SINGLE - OTHER - SHOPPER had their bag (unzipped, even!) with them in the store. As I was no longer able to stomach the thought of spending money here, my entire experience was just half heartedly looking at antiques while wondering what about me looks so criminal. But that really isn’t the point. The point is that when it’s left to someone behind the counter to make these distinctions while insisting that an inconsistently enforced “policy” was recommended by the Sandwich police, it will never end well. Also, there’s no bathroom and they’ve locked up the portapotty outside. Did not ask whether Sandwich PD had a hand in this, too. If you look wealthy enough, this is a beautifully curated shop, no shade to the vendors. UPDATE- There are multiple other reviews by people who were put off by being singled out as potential shoplifters. Some of whom were not Caucasian while the shoppers whose bags went unquestioned were. I have visible scarring/disfigurement. It is high time for management here to do some careful self inventory and bias training!

Stopped in today and bought a decanter. The ladies that we dealt with were phenomenal!! They were so very friendly and personable to everyone who walked through the door. The shop itself was so very well laid out. The antiques displayed were quality! This is my absolute favorite shop on the Cape!

Google
Beautiful store. A bit out of my price range for what I was looking for, but very well organized and staged

Google
Very fun antique store with a great selection of items. I was impressed by the vintage jewelry in particular, and appreciated that most items had a clear price tag and description. Most things were statement pieces, not as many daily wear pieces. The store did smell like skunk throughout and woman working there said they had been living under the store and spraying for 3 weeks. This did not dampen my experience, but I know some may be more sensitive to the smell.

I've been visiting this antique shop for many years. It never disappoints. I moved out of New England about 10 years ago and finally was able to return to the Sandwich Antiques Center last week. Brought my sister along, she lives in Brewster but had never been here! We both found some treasures. I'm sure she'll be back, and I'll definitely try to go back next time I'm in Massachusetts. It's a wonderful place, and I almost forgot to mention, the staff is fantastic!

Google
I've been to many antique stores but this one is really a top-notch one. Not only is it clean and well lit but all the pricing was readily available and the people that work there were willing to help you all the time. This is definitely going to be a stop on my list when I'm in the area

Yelp
My husband and I came in around 11:30/noon on Saturday 8/18. We were spending the day exploring sandwich for the weekend and staying locally. This was the only store on the block where we were made to feel uncomfortable. In fact, racially profiled. We were the only POC in the entire store. Several other folks were browsing around. I did not notice a young man following them.'So why were we being followed? No large bags, and we were polite and made sure just to "look with our eyes." I'm a teacher and my husband is retired military. This was by far disgusting. We will not be back. PS- Cape cod has visitors from all over the world, as does Massachusetts.

Yelp
Not a bad antique place in Sandwich. They boast 5000 square feet. However, the layout is extremely confusing and disorienting with little halls and pathways of floor to ceiling glass cases. Most item are under glass. Prices are reasonable. I picked up a print of Harvard University from 1837 which was on average 70.00 dollars less than just the print as listed on eBay. In fact, it did come framed. Nice addition to my collection. Plenty of parking, but staffed minimally. Definitely worth the trek when in Sandwich. 4.5 stars. 29MAY2022

Yelp
Great service, pricing and opportunities to buy cute stuff! The mini figures were so cute! I got a mini terrier and could not be more happy with it!

Yelp
Friendly staff, nice bunch of stuff in a maze of cabinets. Not everything was an antique, some stuff was just old and for sale. Prices were a bit high.

Yelp
If I could give 0 stars I would. Walked in the front door with a party of 7, one of which is an antiques dealer, and we were immediately verbally attacked by the woman at the front desk. After the third person entered there was a 2 second delay before the fourth & she "went off" saying we were rude & needs to learn how to close a door. We went on Tuesday 7/19/22 @ 1:00...If the woman working the front was an employee she needs to be fired. If you're the owner, you need to find a new hobby bc you're obviously miserable.

Yelp
We always stop in here while in the area. It is fun to look around. The place is neat and clean and the people working are friendly.

Yelp
Great antique store, lots of interesting items to see, but some members of the staff were miserable and almost ruined the experience. Don't try to negotiate or haggle prices unless you want to be ridiculed. It's was as if the woman took a personal affront became we asked for a few dollars off an already too expensive item. Anyway we found a cool lighthouse lantern. Definitely worth a visit, just hope you have a friendlier experience.

Yelp
My favorite antique center on Cape Cod! The staff is always friendly and helpful and you never know what treasures you're going to find here.

Yelp
First of all, I take umbrage with an Antiques Center of this size having "Sorry, No Rest Room," as soon as you come in the door. I drove along Route 6A for 45 minutes and needed that convenience. When I said "don't tell me you don't have a rest room, but what I'm I supposed to do?" To which she responded "there's a bathroom next door at the Convenience Store." Look, folks, is it fair for one retail shop to send people to another location? I almost didn't come back, but, since the Shop was on my list, I decided to check it out. Well, the prices here are about 50% more than all the other shops I visited. English transferware plates of the same condition, color and pattern, could be found for much less at OTHER shops on the Cape. Same thing with glass and other smalls. Too bad, because I had high hopes for this shop.

Yelp
The only thing that is good about this place would have to be the inventory. The staff were awful!!!! They helped no one and even started trash talking their customers. Prices are definitely overpriced but as I mentioned great inventory. There's plenty of great Antique stores on the Cape, unfortunately the staff has completely ruined this one.....

Yelp
I stopped at this Antique Center on my way back from the one in Dennis. This one in Sandwich is smaller and a bit higher priced, but very clean and well organized. Definitely worth a visit! If you want to do more digging/hunting, head to the Antique Center of Cape Cod in Dennis, but with these types of places you never know when the treasure you're looking for might be there. I fell in love with a little whiskey shot glass here that was $95, there were other styles for $15 though so I just have just picked a rare one. Isn't that the way it always goes? ;) Well kept and lots of venders in the space they have.

Yelp
Nicest antique center or mall in the area. It is upscale and their prices are on the higher side. They have a lot of locked cases with glass and smalls in them. Their inventory is very nice and they carry expensive items like Tiffany and Steuben. They also have quite a bit of furniture too. The staff is a bit high brow, but it is an upscale store and it is warranted, they are not rude at all. Yes, they do not have a bathroom, as most stores in New England do not. I like the store and try to go when I am in town. There are a bunch of different rooms and nooks and crannies to look in. It is very cute inside and does not feel overwhelming, even though there is a lot inside.

Yelp
Love that ever single staff member is is so nice. All of the items are really nice and are fairly priced! Especially now during COVID they are doing such a nice job at cleaning and wearing their masks! I think that anyone looking for antiques or just random items I would highly recommend it!

Yelp
My mother and I had ventured off Rt.6 and into Sandwich after going over the Sagamore Bridge. I've lived on the South Coast for a year but haven't explored the Cape yet and my mom was visiting from another state. We were pretty much lost. My mother is a big antiques fan so we noticed this store as I was turning into the parking lot to make a U-turn on Rt.6A. We decided to check it out. Inside you wind through room after room. The building must have been an old house at one point in time. A lot of the antiques were behind big glass cases that went to the ceiling. I didn't find much under $100. Everything was rather pricey. We seemed a little under dressed for the Cape Codders walking through the store with heels and skirts. Maybe it was just the atmosphere at the time. Nobody greeted us as we entered, and not a single person working there said a word to us as we spent about 15 minutes inside.

Yelp
I wasn't that impressed with this place, until I found the most precious, tiny mexican sterling silver necklace with a teeeeeeny bird on it, for $12. Not as much dishware as I would have liked...staff was a smidge fancy-snobby. There are tons of antique places on 6A, and from what I hear this is one of the better ones. Who knows. I would suggest heading out to Dennis to the Cape Antique Center first, and hitting this place on the way home.

Yelp
Some stuff is a little pricey -- but this is the Cape. I'm a broke college grad, so I like to sift through the fancy stuff. I found some great old-timey, classy jewelry for fiancee here. My favorite part is the giant bins of ephemera - used postcards (categorized by state!), magazines, old photos. The are some real gems here, and the staff is friendly. Certainly worth visiting after a stroll on the boardwalk!

Yelp
The staff were exceptionally snotty and most unhelpful. They acted as if we were a real bother and were extremely unwelcoming. We bought several items even though they complained about having to move items in the case . The shop had beautiful and varied items, however, the prices were significantly higher than other antique shops I have visited recently. I wouldn't recommend this shop to any of my friends due to the nasty reception of the staff

Brian O.

Yelp
I take all of my accolades back! These people are not to be trusted. As a loyal customer, vendor renting space ther, and an employee there they have proven to be duplicitous and not very nice people. The Cape Cod Times rates the Antiques Center of Cape Cod, with a much larger sample size, as a much more welcoming and professionally run endeavor.
google avatar

Jamie V.

Yelp
Some things can be pricey but much of the items were also reasonable. It just depends on the booth and item. Sandwich glass may be a bit more because of the local interest. It is a large old building with many nooks and crannies. Many beautiful things and truly something for every antique lover. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
My Husband and I have shopped at this shop for the last two days and I have to say this is one of the best antique shops we've ever shopped in. They have excellent merchandise and the staff were extremely helpful and very friendly! ! I would recommend this shop to anyone that loves real antiques at fairly reasonable prices. Thanks to everyone working there for your help and for carefully wrapping our treasures!!!

Peyton K.

Yelp
I have been in many antique malls around the country and this one has many nice things. The problem is the staff. They are extremely unfriendly. in the 25 or so times I have been in there no one has ever greeted us or even asked if they could help.

Tim G.

Yelp
I recently went here for the first time. There are tons of antiques here. Things maybe a little pricey here, but that is due to the higher quality, authenticity, and condition of the items here. You won't find many reproductions here and if you do it is clearly labeled as such. Also as with any antique shop, price is negotiable. Contrary to previous reviewers I found the staff as nothing but friendly and spoke with one associate for most of the time I was there. I think they were simply letting previous reviewers/customers browse without bugging them. As for the person who commented about the fancy dress of others customers, this is Cape Cod and casual is not only welcome, but encouraged!
