We spent an evening at Sandy Bay Beach Club and really enjoyed the atmosphere – relaxed vibes, a pool to cool off in, and a front-row seat to a dramatic, rugged beach (definitely not for swimming, though). The sunset view is absolutely breathtaking and worth the visit alone.
That said, the food didn’t quite live up to the price tag. I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza, which unfortunately missed the mark – the onions and jalapeños were added after baking, making it an odd mix of hot and cold toppings. For a place that’s on the pricier side and clearly aimed at tourists, I expected a bit more from the kitchen.
Still, we didn’t leave disappointed – the setting is gorgeous, the staff are friendly, and it’s a lovely spot to enjoy a drink while watching the sun dip below the horizon.
I do recommend making a reservation or the seating may be a let down.
