Sandy Bay Beach Club

We spent an evening at Sandy Bay Beach Club and really enjoyed the atmosphere – relaxed vibes, a pool to cool off in, and a front-row seat to a dramatic, rugged beach (definitely not for swimming, though). The sunset view is absolutely breathtaking and worth the visit alone. That said, the food didn’t quite live up to the price tag. I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza, which unfortunately missed the mark – the onions and jalapeños were added after baking, making it an odd mix of hot and cold toppings. For a place that’s on the pricier side and clearly aimed at tourists, I expected a bit more from the kitchen. Still, we didn’t leave disappointed – the setting is gorgeous, the staff are friendly, and it’s a lovely spot to enjoy a drink while watching the sun dip below the horizon. I do recommend making a reservation or the seating may be a let down.

The food is really some of the best on the island - we loved it so much we came back twice in the 3 days we had at Nusa Lembongan. Service is a bit slow to begin with but the food is delicious and lots to choose from on the menu (recommend the grilled prawns and the mac and cheese balls!) a lovely place to sit and watch sunset with a cocktail.

The best food we’ve had on Nusa Lembongan. We’ve been twice and so far all the food has been great. The chicken schnitzel was super crispy and tasty. The mac and cheese balls are my favourite. The pizza’s are very good! Not as big as regular pizza’s, but a good portion, especially when you have an appetizer before. The drinks are fun. The pina colada mocktail was really good. The berry fizz is okay, but it wasn’t very fizzy (maybe it’s blended with the sparkling water so then after it’s not fizzy anymore?). The matcha wasn’t my favourite. Overall it’s definitely more pricy than other places, but the food is high quality and the view is really great. The view is really nice and there are options to sit and lie down in either the sun or shadow. Will definitely be back here! Edit: we’ve been back multiple times and tried a bunch of other things. Can honestly say everything here is so good and high quality. We LOVED the rendang taco’s and the burgers (buttermilk chicken burger, cheeseburger and fishburger were all amazing!). The popcorn chicken and Caesar salad were nice. Pasta aglio & olio really good. Omg the dessert are also a definite recommendation. We tried the lemon cheesecake and the chocolate cake. Both soooo good. The live music was very nice also. Also Septi is so sweet! She recognised us multiple times and made conversation, she was very welcoming.

We liked it so much that we went twice. Good food quality, amazing pizzas!! The space is really nice and some nights they have good live music.

this is definitely my go-to place whenever I'm in Lembongan. my son loves this place too! it's beachfront with a pool, and sometimes you can spot dolphins and turtles if you're lucky!! the food is amazing, especially the poke bowl and the chicken popcorns. the staff are attentive and kind too. I will definitely be back super soon 😍

What’s not to like about this place ? Some of the most amazing and fresh food we have had on the island at reasonable prices ! My tuna poke bowl was perfectly proportioned with just the right amount of salad greens and rice, accompanied by a generous smattering of tuna, and dressed beautifully with a fragrant and aromatic dressing. Cocktails were spot on too - best Negroni I have had in the island, and the Pink Gin is to die for! Plenty of kid friendly options too and so long as you order wisely it won’t break that bank. Lots of lounging options too, and with direct beach frontage, you can watch the sun set, or dip your feet in the ocean. Best atmosphere of any venue we’ve been to so far as well,as even though it’s a fair size, it doesn’t seem over crowded (although it definitely get la busy) and on this occasion at least, it wasn’t too noisy. Highly recommended.

We are staying in sandy bay and each day we come to the beach club - we love it the waves breaking on the rocks at devils tears are always fascinating to watch and soothing background noise! Cynthia is a wonderful manager and all her staff are trained well in customer service, always with a smile! The food is delicious and drinks are many and varied- everything is perfect!
