Found this lovely restaurant for dinner at Apollo Bay. The black mussels and scallop linguine we had were really good and had a suitable portion for 2 people. The service of the owner made the night perfect and we left feeling satisfied

If you are in Apollo Bay, this is one of the best restaurants going around here. We had the pork belly and fish of the day. The food was excellent, I can't fault any of the dishes. Mark, with his 14 years of experience, and his quirky laugh, provides the best service. The food is worth every dollar. Amazing!!!! We will be hear a few more times.

What an experience for us, Swiss family, we enjoyed the welcoming, the service and the food was delicious. We had Salmon, Lamb, Kangaroo and the fantastic bouillabaisse! Entrées and the small side salad were great too. Awesome !!! We can only highly recommend the place to all those passing by Apollo Bay. Don’t miss it.

Arrived for a sit down breakfast; my friend & I order a coffee & eggs Benedict each. We ordered at 9:42am & received our coffees not long after. However, did not receive our food until 40minutes later. When we finally got our food, the poached eggs were full of water, drenching our 'dish' & the hollandaise sauce had way to much salt. Also for the price paid the serving size was minimal... We can understand if the cafe may have been busy (which it didn't seem to bad) or maybe it was just a rough day. But some communication between the staff to customers would have been appreciated.

The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. The owner has a great personality and infectious laugh, they will make sure you’re having a good time. Highly recommend!

Best food I’ve had in Australia even though it’s not a fancy gourmet place. Simple but delicious dishes, right close to the beach. The kangaroo meat was particularly good

This place is a gem. Highly recommended. Mark (I believe the owner) was super friendly and helpful with the orders. Food tasted amazing. Simple and absolutely delicious. Fish of the day was so fresh and well prepped that imho is a must-have here. Pair your food with a good bottle of wine (reasonably priced) on a cold day, and simple perfection! The signature dish here, is their bouillabaisse, and without a shadow of a doubt, the best in Australia for sure, without a doubt, you won't be dissapointed ! I have travelled the world especially Marseille ( the home of the Algerian origin bouillabaisse ).. Cassis, Nice, in South of France , from the mid sixties, onwards and have had dozens & dozens of bouillabaisse, The Sandy Feet Apollo Bay, has what I would say , is Australia’s best ever bouillabaisse, PERIOD. The other meals , steaks , entrees are excellent. Mark and his crew have a brilliant full service restaurant “Café” , excellent service, wonderful ambience , frsh sparkling champagne from the stae of Victoria, as well as the best full bodied ‘Cab-Sav’ reds, you coukd ask for, from South Australia's famous red wine country of the Barossa Valley. So I highly recommend sty in one of the many hotels, apartments, here in Apollo Bay,and enjoy a fabulous evening at Sandy Feet with Mark. Ten out of ten Dicko :)
