Sandyford Lodge Hotel

Stayed on a Saturday night to attend a concert at the Hydro. Excellent location. Some free parking spaces right outside, we managed to get one so very pleased.|Staff very welcoming and friendly. |Hotel bright and spacious. |Our room, although basic was a good size, clean & had everything we required for our needs. The ensuite looked brand new! We were up a few flights of stairs, which was fine for us, but if you have mobility issues ask for a ground floor room. |Would definitely stay here again next time we visit the Hydro.

Checked in at 1.30pm. When entering the room, we were hit by a strong drainage/sewage smell. The offered solution was to use an air freshener or open a water now slightly. Unsure how the room was made up without this being noticed. The smell filled the hallway. Also staining to carpets in hallway and the room itself. Headboards were ripped and cracked. We were allowed to cancel but then had to pay a premium for an alternative hotel due to it being a same day booking. Not a great experience and won’t be using again.

Fantastic place to stay. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the room was extremely well equipped. The staff were lovely, very friendly and were always on hand to help - mainly because I couldn’t work the door key! The location is great and is surrounded by amazing places to eat and drink. We will make this our go to place to stay when visiting Glasgow in the future.

Had a lovely stay at the sandyford lodge hotel. Room was spotless clean. Guys at reception were very friendly and helpful. Hotel only 10 mins from hydro where we were going. Great value. Would definitely stay again.

The room I stayed in was renovated and very nice. Comfy bed and clean bathroom. Good shower too. It's not barrierfree but that's expected with the kind of building. You can hear the road outside, but it didn't really bother me much. Would stay again. Super friendly staff too and accommodating to last minute requests.

Little gem in the west end of Glasgow. Newly renovated: quiet rooms:staff are very friendly and helpful. The neighbourhood has some lovely restaurants( v international) I recommend The Finnieston Bar & Restaurant ( seafood). Walking distance to the SEC.|I’d say its 3star because there is no lift(elevator) and no restaurant. They have an arrangement for breakfast at a nearby hotel.|Altogether a lovely stay! Would definitely go back!

Great place. Everywhere is clean. Cleaning every day. The room is spacious. There is a large and beautiful park nearby. Shops and pubs within walking distance.

Clean, comfy and perfect location. Friendly and enthusiastic welcome. Wonderful shower and recently painted room. Top floor room so very quiet. My only request would be mugs in the rooms rather than tiny cups and saucers. Great we were able to leave our cases in reception after checking out.
