BEST HOSTEL EVER! Was able to check in in the morning which was so nice after a long journey! Rooms so spacious, large beds and kept clean at all times. Staff super friendly and the owner is amazing! So knowledgable and great english speaking making it super easy to plan onwards travels / the loop etc. Freebies given, bananas, ice cream and water! Great facilities and food was amazing too, ideal location super close! We did the waterfall tour and was so social and great value for money!

Sanga Hostel and Souvenir is a truly warm and welcoming place. The owner is incredibly kind and genuinely lovely — she’s nice to everyone and feels just like a caring older sister who’s always there to look after you. She takes excellent care of guests and speaks fluent English, which makes communication very easy. The price is affordable, and the entire hostel is impressively clean — especially the bathrooms and showers. They also offer great-value tours and motorbike rentals, which is very convenient for travelers. If you’re looking for a hostel where you can stay with complete peace of mind, I highly recommend this place 100%.

The manager/receptionist is the highlight of this place. She organizes everything for you, very friendly and caring. The beds are very nice, solid and not shaky, and wide as well as long. Lots of space. Great curtains too. You get two towels, a locker and key, as well as a key to open the front door at night (it gets locked over night). Plenty of toilets and showers which are pretty clean. The whole place looks very nice, There isn't really a space to socialize but there is a cafe downstairs.

Best hostel we stayed in in the whole of Laos definitely. Outclassing even all the Hotels. The also have the best yellow curry across Thailand and Laos in my opinion. Ate it every day basically. The whole staff is incredibly kind, friendly, and overwhelmingly helpful when it comes to planning the Bolaven Loop. They organise tours, but can help you in detail with planning your own loop, can get all the bookings for way better prices than you can find online, offer scooter rentals, the whole package. Whatever question or inquiry we had, they could provide an answer and courses of action. Even more so they offer laundry service, free, vegan ice cream (soy milk and black bean), overall the food is very suitable for vegetarians and vegans. I don’t know what else to say. A real gem. Loved this place and felt the most relaxed on my whole journey here.

You simply will not find a better all round service in any hotel/hostel at any price point anywhere in Laos, maybe in SE asia, maybe in the world. The manager is an absolute force of nature: organised, knowledgeable, well connected, helpful, speaks amazing english and is also just very friendly and warm. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, also the top bunks are on platforms larger than the matress, which makes them feel more secure and comfortable. Really excellent experience.

A wonderful hostel and very clean. It is really worth the price. They helped to organize all parts the bolevan loop, from the bikes to the zip lines and the accommodation on the loop. They really made our stay very special! The breakfast is great, with nice fresh and warm baguettes and homemade pineapple jam (which was like a chutney but delicious). The breakfast ranged from 60,000 to 100,000 but we're good portions. The free homemade ice cream was a nice touch too. I didn't have dinner here, but they had many vegetarian options on the menu. Would really reccomend even if to help you with your on ward travel.

We came to eat breakfast, since a friend of us was staying here. The service is excellent and the owner is a very sweet lady. We felt so welcomed (and the food was delicious) that we came back twice. Incredible kindness here! Big recommendation for food or hostel!

I stayed at Sanga Hostel for 3 nights, and it’s honestly one of the best hostels I’ve ever been to. Everything was spotless so clean and tidy and the food in the restaurant was incredible, with both local Lao dishes and great western options. The staff were all super friendly, and the manager was absolutely wonderful. She went above and beyond for us, making us feel so welcome and looked after. She gave fantastic recommendations for food and massage places, and even helped us book our transport to Don Det. She made it so easy, got us the most comfortable bus with reclining seats and massage chairs for a great price, and even gave us free snacks for the journey before waving us off at the door. Such a great hostel I recommend it to everyone
