I had the opportunity to spend three nights at the Sankara Hotel for work purposes, and it was truly a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the professionalism and warmth of the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly, highly competent, and always available to assist with any need or request. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made me feel welcome and valued throughout my stay. I made use of several services during my visit. The gym is spacious and very well equipped. I highly recommend booking a session with Joseph, the personal trainer and gym manager. He is passionate, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive to every detail, both during the workout and in providing personalized advice. His dedication and enthusiasm really make a difference. I also used the laundry service, which was outstanding. After a safari, my trousers were quite dirty, and they came back perfectly clean—truly a 10 out of 10 service. The breakfast was rich and varied, with high-quality food and a wide selection to suit every taste. As always, the staff’s friendliness and their genuine joy in seeing guests happy made the experience even more enjoyable. I will definitely return. It was a beautiful and memorable stay, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nairobi.

Amazing experience. The property is lovely and well maintained. The location is very nice. The best part of my stay was the incomparable service. Everyone- especially Georgia, Catherine & Sharon- could not do enough. Nothing seemed too great to ask. Georgia, in particular, worked hard to help return something I lost on my trip from the airport. ||Thank you to everyone at this hotel

My Husband and I stayed here for two nights in August. The hotel is very nice and the staff are friendly. The staff that welcomed us early and sorted out or room were very helpful. Our suite was amazing and decorated beautifully for my Husband's 40th. The executive lounge was very good with a nice and plentiful choice of canapés and snacks both sweet and savoury and a range of drinks. The staff were very lovely too. My only negative was that I had booked a table in the steak restaurant some months before for the special occasion of celebrating my Husband's actual birthday. I had been in contact with the staff regarding the booking and made enquires about the menu and champagne list, but when we arrived I was told that it was closed for refurbishment and had been for some months. It was a real disappointment as we had really been looking forward to it as it had really good reviews. I chose the hotel primarily because of the restaurant. It would have been nice to have been told so that I could have done some research and booked another restaurant for the special occasion. Instead we had dinner by the rooftop pool, which was nice but wasn't really the extra special evening I wanted for that occasion. We were also looking forward to the champagne bar that was advertised on the website, but that no longer exists either. I used the transport service within the hotel for a day trip and that was a success. The staff were very friendly and helpful

This is my second time returning to this on Cara hotel. Again it has always been a great trip. What makes it even more relaxing stay as the hospitable team of hosts and staff that make your stay feel comfortable and enjoyable. A special shout out to front desk host, Philip, for his always helpful attitude with a smile, my dedicated room attendant Nick for always tidying up my room and replenishing, coffee and tea. And another shout out to the Jim manager Joseph for his awesome anttitude and help with managing the gym facility. You couple this with the great amenities and delicious food. You couldn’t ask for anything more.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas Day lunch at Sankara. The Christmas Day, menu was super flavorful (thought the choice to offer an à la carte menu was a great option compared to the usual festive buffets). Salad bar was fantastic (the tuna ceviche could have been better)and having it as a separate add-on to the main dining is a brilliant option. To top it off, the band for the day was exceptional and really set the festive mood. Even on a very busy day, the service remained excellent. Highly recommended.

Amazing Service every time. Staff are super friendly, so refreshing to be greeted everyday by wonderful warm genuine smiles. This is a hotel I love returning to. It just makes a trip more special. A little to close to buzzing nightlife spots but thats not something that you can fault the hotel for.

This was a great experience. The food was superb both the meat and the fish. What really gave it the edge- THE FANTASTIC SERVICE. Kuddos to Pauline muthama and Humphrey Omengo were truly exceptional.

During my visit to Nairobi, Kenya, I stayed at the Sankara Nairobi, Autograph Collection, and once again, it didn’t disappoint. In fact, both times I visited Kenya, I chose the same hotel—partly because it’s perfectly located in the heart of the city, making it so easy to navigate anywhere, but mostly because Sankara gives you this warm, homey, and effortlessly relaxing experience that’s hard to find elsewhere.||From the moment you walk in, you feel wrapped in comfort. The food was consistently delicious, the environment was clean and stylish, and the staff were a delight. The housekeepers were exceptionally professional—quiet, respectful, and attentive to every detail—making my stay smooth and refreshing.||But one person who truly stood out was Peter, one of the gatekeepers. What a character! He’s the definition of a jolly, happy soul. With his infectious smile and upbeat energy, he brightened my day every time I stepped out or returned to the hotel. He’s incredibly good at his job and always made sure I was well informed about my movements—whether it was traffic updates, safety tips, or the best time to head out.||Sankara feels like a blend of luxury and home, where you’re treated not just as a guest, but as someone they genuinely care about. It’s the kind of place that makes you look forward to coming “home” at the end of a long day exploring Nairobi.
