What an absolutely amazing hotel that really goes the extra mile to make the guest feel super welcome. Alexia goes above & beyond to ensure your stay is perfect & ours sure was. We received a room upgrade to a suite & it was was extraordinary, they also had a lovely gift left in our Room which was an absolute delight to find, I felt Alexia & the restaurant manager/chef went above & beyond to make outlr stay amazing & it really was. |The breakfast was one of the best we have had during our travels around Greece. The pastries were fresh & super delishous. |Thank you|The room service does incur an extra €3 tray charge & at breakfast you only get 1 cappachino but apart from that & compared the the many other hotels we stayed in around Greece this one was the best!

We stayed here in September, and had a wonderful experience. We were supposed to stay for 4 nights, but were only able to stay for 3 due to all ferries being canceled on the day we were supposed to travel from Naxos. When we arrived, they provided a lovely welcome drink and they upgraded us to the Executive Suite. After a long day of traveling, this was such a nice surprise and very appreciated. Our original reservation included two nights in one room, and then a room swap for two more. It was great to not have to move rooms, and it made our stay much more relaxing. The room itself was beautiful and included a view of both the water and the Venetian Wall. SanSal has an app you can download to order room service, which we did the first night. I had never seen this before, and it was very convenient. The hotel is centrally located and walkable to the old town, the lighthouse, lots of restaurants and things to do. They also had parking, which was great for our rental car. The staff there were incredibly kind and professional. They provided us with a city map, showed us several points of interest, and recommended excellent restaurants for dinner. They even offered to make reservations for us, but we ended up being able to walk in at both. I would absolutely stay here again if we were to come back to Chania.

My wife and I booked a short 4 day holiday at SanSal from our other holiday in Cyprus. |The title “Wow” describes the hotel perfectly. It’s a short walk to Chania old port or Nea Chora heading the other way. |We did not have any issues with parking as there are reserved spots on the road for hotel guests. |Room was spacious, bathroom was beautiful. When your wife says I want this bathroom for home, you know it’s good. |We had a view of the old harbour and lighthouse. Rooftop pool was refreshing and drinks and snacks were top notch.|Breakfast was excellent, eggs made your way, yogurt, fruits, cheeses, meats, freshly squeezed orange juice and nice strong coffee. |Now the reason why we loved this place. |The service and staff. Everyone is welcoming, attentive and very friendly. Front lobby staff, breakfast team, cleaning crew and bartender at the pool made our stay wonderful. Thank You SanSal, you do everything well.

Beautiful clean hotel. Very updated & nice atmosphere. The beds are cozy. The breakfast is delicious. We loved taking advantage of the rooftop pool & ordering some food. Staff is extremely friendly and attentive. It’s a quick walk to the old town & a quick walk to the beach. Would 100% go back.

We stayed for 2 nights in August. In all senses a fantastic experience. Walking distance to old town, free private (limited) parking in front of the hotel. Excellent breakfast, extreme friendly staff, immaculate clean. We had room 601 with a stunning ocean view and marvellous terras. Small but heavenly infinity pool on the top floor. Can only recommend.

Had a great experience here! Stayed several nights. Easy free parking and located just at the edge of old town, so it was wuiet but very easy to walk to town or the beach. Room was large, clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast! Staff was EXCELLENT, with friendly Alexia at the desk making the whole stay special.

The stay at this hotel was by the book. A welcoming receptionist, welcome drink. The rooms are spacious, clean. The bed is comfortable. They have all of the amenities in the bathroom and even bathrobes. The view is amazing as well. The balcony is spacious. There is also a swimming pool with the best view you can dream of. Breakfast is exceptional with variety of food, good coffee of your choice and eggs. The staff is also very nice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in Chania and I would definitely visit again.

If you’re planning a stay in Chania and seeking an elevated hotel experience, this is the place. The location is excellent—close to the harbor and old town—while the staff, including Haris at the front desk, Kostas at the rooftop pool bar, and Apostolis in the breakfast area, went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The room was spacious, thoughtfully appointed, and exceptionally quiet. We will definitely be returning!
