The local is incredible and the staff do a great job of taking care of the facilities. The kitchen is well equipped and organised, the rooms were checking multiple times daily and comments were received swiftly. The hostel arranged events and provided opportunity for guests to engage with one another, which I found dear. The bathroom and shower were private and nice. I felt safe using facilities and the all female room was amazing— all my hostelmates were very friendly. I greatly recommend.

From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel completely at home — so warm, welcoming, and full of good vibes. A special shoutout to Bambu, who always created such a fun and friendly atmosphere in the evenings before the free disco nights — those were unforgettable! The hostel itself is super clean, safe, and social. I loved hanging out on the balcony, which was the perfect spot to relax and meet other travelers. They also organized tons of activities, which made it so easy to connect with people and make new friends. If you’re looking for a place with amazing staff, great energy, and the perfect mix of fun and comfort — Sant Jordi Hostel is the one. I can’t wait to come back!

Loved staying at this hostel on our recent trip to Barcelona. It had everything we needed. The rooms (6 bed) were spacious , bright and clean. It even had a balcony to hangout on. Even though it seems like a party hostel we (34F, 32M) never found it loud or rowdy. The showers and bathrooms were cleaned every day too. There was a strange smell in the women's , but assumed it was just the pipes or something. Nothing unbearable. The rooftop deck and pool were AMAZING after long hot days. Pleasantly surprised! And not busy while we were there. The kitchen area was kept clean and the nightly meals were 100 % worth it! Delicious. Lastly, the activities planned by the hostel was a lovely touch - haven't experienced that in other places . We could only make it out to the pub crawl, but the staff would also recommend places to go as well. 10/10 would stay again (my husband has stayed in many hostels in Europe and he said this was the best!) thank you for the great time!!!

Honestly the best in the city. The vibe is amazing, super clean, and the staff are very friendly, cheerful, and always ready to help. There’s a fully equipped kitchen downstairs with a big fridge where you can store your food, plus all the cooking tools you need. What makes it even more special is the daily activities, both in the morning and at night — a perfect way to meet people, make new friends, and enjoy the social atmosphere. Overall, a truly excellent place. Highly recommended!

Is was by far one of the worst hostel experiences I’ve had. Our confirmed booking was cancelled at 1:30 AM the morning of our arrival with no warning at all. We didn’t find out until we arrived later that day, expecting a place to stay. Instead of helping, the staff made the situation worse. We were told we probably wouldn’t find another place to stay on such short notice even though we already had a confirmed booking with them and paid in full; which they had cancelled without telling us. The irony was unbelievable. We had to speak to three different workers, and one of them literally walked out on us mid-conversation. No one took responsibility, and we waited over an hour in the lobby just to get any answers. For a hostel dealing with international travelers, their lack of professionalism, empathy, and basic communication was completely unacceptable. The booking platform eventually stepped in and helped, but the way the hostel handled everything was chaotic and dismissive. I would absolutely not recommend staying here and recommend elsewhere. The hostel we did end up finding after 3 hours was so much better than what we could have imagined. The staff at St Christopher’s Inn Barcelona was so welcoming and the location of this hostel was actually really amazing with the location to the airport shuttle, transport, and we walked to everything we could have needed in the city.

I stayed here during my solo trip and had the best experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff were so warm, friendly, and helpful — they really made me feel at home. The bathrooms were spotless and well maintained, which made such a big difference during my stay. The whole place had a really welcoming and positive vibe, and it was super easy to meet other travelers and make friends.As a solo traveler, I always look for places that feel safe and comfortable, and this hostel ticked all the boxes. The common areas were lively but relaxed, perfect for chatting, reading, or just hanging out. I left with great memories and new friends — I’d 100% recommend this hostel to anyone, especially solo travelers looking for a clean, friendly, and fun place to stay!

great hostel in a very central location. it has events on every night including bar crawls that allow you to travel in a big group. we had a great experience with the staff and felt very safe! highly highly recommend

The hostel was very good and neat & clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially the night team. Lockers were free, and the room door was operated using a key card

Really great location and awesome staff, the location has a rooftop deck with spa bath and plenty of area to chill. I was in room 103 and had a large balcony to relax and enjoy the last of the summer sunshine. The rooms are well equipped with two showers and a toilet but you could hear a fair bit of the noise from the bar area below in the evening. Overall I'd recommend staying at this location again for sure.

Clean, safe, attentive staff. Worth every penny. There is also a 24 hour supermarket directly adjacent to this place so you can always get a drink or some food.

I loved this hostel and the location. The staff was all super friendly and helped make my stay very pleasant. I really enjoyed the vibe, and the price. I will stay in a private room the next time since I am getting older and personal space is nice to have. I would recommend this hostel to any of my friends!!!

Hi on Wednesday I checked in Sant Jordi Rock Palace. When I arriaved there was a lot of customers. A black guy who help me to check in. He told me I have to pay €10 as a deposit.Since I made the reservation online, he mentioned that I need to pay taxes. I ask him if I could pay deposit with my credit card and also paid tax included with my card. The black guy said no. He said I need to go to ATM to take out money. I told him that I was unsure if I could go to ATM and take out money since , my bank charge me a lot of money , then this black started to leisure me on that I need to bring cash when I travel and how I don't travel much and if I travel I would bring money. I was very insulted by this so I answered him that I travel a lot and I had no problem with this and in fact that I stayed on another sant jordi hostel and I could paid with card with no problem. Then this black guy said I was rude , that they have a lot of costumers and that they can't talk to me. I told him I'm a coustmers as well. In fact he was the person who was rude , but I never made a comment about it. Then in the end the black guy said I can leave my passport as a depoist , I told him that I was unsure about giving my passport and told him what if I need it. Then he started to comment that I was being spectical , that I don't trust him , that I act that I know better than him and that I don't believe him when he said that I don't need a ID in Barcelona. That I had two option to give my passport or go to ATN directly to take out money. So I gave my passport. Then the other guy who was going to show my room I asked him very normal conversation if there is possibility to pay with my card at first he ignored me and was very irritered at me and I then told him , why you ignoring me while I'm talking to you , he answered that they have a lot of costumers to help and he don't have the time to talk to me , because he needs to go back down snd help the black guy. Then when we was in the room he litsen to me and said that he will see what he can do. After 40mins I called the desk then the black guy screamed at me on the phone and said that I was very rude ( I only asked that I wanted hear what the guy who showed me the room what his answer was ) that I've 10mins to pack my stuff and leave and then he hanged up the phone. I was in the room and was very chocked over the behavior . Then 5mins later the black guy open the room and screamed at me and said I'm the manager and I deciede you to pack your stuff and leave and I'll call the police because youre rude he said and as soon As I was going to ask him what I've done he left the room. Then I went down the desk to ask him what I did , he was not there then I spoke to a guy who arrange the dinner , he was very nice and litsen to me then the black guy comes and says why you talking to him , I said you was not here and I thought you maybe went home. Then he said where is your stuff , youre leaving here. We have a lot of coustmers and youre rude he said. Then I told him here is the €10 because the guy in my room was very scared of the manager that he lent me money. Then the manager gave my passport. The day after when I checked out there was another manager ( I think he speaks Italian as well) in the beginning there was some missunderstanding and I felt like he had something against me then he said that he read on my account that I was a difficult costumer . ( this is very insulting) I told him he wrote this about me , then he said the black manager. When I checked out there was the guy in my room who told the manager that I was not the issue , it was the black manager since said I need to pack my stuff and that he would call the police because I was "rude" and that they had a lot of a costumer and as a manager you expect that the manager would solve the issue instead of creating a issue. This manager litsened and explained that is not allowed for them to keep passport as a depoist in case they get robbed. He was very sorry for the black manager behavior. He explanied that he as a manager is here to solve problems and come to a conclusion. I appreciate him and what he said, but because of this incident I could not sleep and was very scared of the black manager. That's why I'm contacting you know , that I had a hell experience at sant jordi rock palace. / thank you for your time reading this.
