Santa Barbara Inn

The front desk staff were rude from the start and did not get us off to a good start. They provided no information about the hotel nor had an ounce of warmth. This appears to be a trend with their front desk staff as the evening lady had the same demeanor and made our return at night unpleasant. I know staffing is a challenge but there is a culture issue for the front desk. The restaurant team is friendly with great service and has delicious food in an attractive setting. The valet attendant Buddy, & other valets were friendly, helpful & efficient. The rooms are spacious, bed comfortable but does not have the amenities for the price to make sense.

I was so pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It’s an older hotel but very well taken care of. I loved the vibe of it. The deco was well put together and designed. It’s a beautiful hotel. Stay in the king with ocean view. Nice bathtub as well. The restaurant was pretty good I just wish they had a more traditional breakfast. Was craving French toast and sausage this morning. Loved the bed and just overall blown away. I paid $350 for the night but there were no hidden fees and I was able to park on the street. Great vibe can’t wait to come back.

Hotel was nice and the room was really big and comfortable. Bed was nice to sleep in. Bathroom was large and had a tub to soak in. The staff were super friendly and helpful from the valet attendants to the front desk. We had breakfast in the morning and it was so pleasant seeing the beach in the distance. We would come back here when visiting SB again.

Beautiful hotel! Room was very spacious with a gorgeous view. The furniture was lovely and the bathroom was very nice. The separate tub was a bonus for our toddler. The food was delicious at the restaurant in the hotel. Great service and drinks too. We enjoyed both breakfast and lunch there. The pool was heated and well enjoyed by our 3 year old on a 65 degree day. Thank you so much Ruth for elevating our experience! We'll be back soon.

This is a beautiful, charming boutique hotel with fantastic views of the ocean. The staff was warm and welcoming - from the valet, to the front desk, to the bartenders (the mojo jojo cocktail … soooo good!), to the restaurant hosts and servers. The room was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. Love the heated floors in the bathroom and the private balcony. No coffee or minibar in the rooms. Not a big deal for me, but something to know. I would absolutely come back for another weekend getaway. Highly recommend.

Our experience at the Santa Barbara Inn was the best…anywhere…ever. |Gorgeous beachfront balcony view from the room. Excellent bar and restaurant with fantastic outdoor beachfront seating. Spot on service from the staff. Thanks to Grant at the front desk who was friendly and accommodating and shout out to Devin who mixes some of the best cocktails we’ve ever had. We’ll be back.

Hotel was beautiful and clean and wonderful staff. We stayed for a short weekend and enjoyed the large rooms and comfy beds. Hotel is across the street from the beach. The hot tub was nice and warm and the pool was nice even in the winter months. ||But my favorite was the restaurant in the hotel (Convino). Food was delicious and staff was wonderful! We will definitely be staying here again and dining at Convino!

My fiancé and I chose to celebrate at the Santa Barbara Inn and we had a wonderful stay! Everyone was welcoming and helpful! We got upgraded when the hotel found out we were celebrating, which was so thoughtful! The view from our balcony was stunning and my fiancé, who has a gluten allergy, was able to eat at the hotel's restaurant, Convino. Convino had an amazing ocean view and was the perfect way to spend the new year! We would both recommend Santa Barbara Inn and look forward to returning!
