Santa Cruz Surf Life

Just walked out from the store. Such rude service. Tall kid busy eating his burrito talking to a girl. Rolled his eyes when we asked him to get down a shirt.

Walked in and a young lady working there just kept talking (gossiping and laughing) to a friend and didn't bother too great us or acknowledge we were there, even though we walked in front of her 3 times. I walked in with my family wanting to buy sweaters for all 6 of us...but changed my mind after. The owner should remind them that a lot of people visit *hint better costumer service. My family travels to Santa Cruz and I will make sure they avoid this place.

Decent selection of surf style clothing in nice location. Staff is not too concerned about customer service. Cash not accepted, they will decline sale. Employees more concerned with talking with friends then assisting customers.

Decent shop with excellent quality threads. Got our “Santa Cruz” hoodies here. Moderately priced for a touristy area. Worth the checking out! Had some good sale stuff too.

We have been here more than a few times within the past 4 years, most recently a few months ago. I wasn't going to say anything but I notice they don't have many reviews. It's probably because a shop like that doesn't really care about reviews because they are one of a kind in the perfect location for tourism and surf life. However, I do want to mention, everytime we have been there, no one aknowledged us, let alone acted like they were happy to have any business. They are cliquie and have a tendency to pay more attention to people who have a certain "look" about them. We are bringing our daughter down from Oregon in a few weeks and would like to confirm one more time that they haven't changed before we start blasting it all over the internet. We like to give kids the benefit of the doubt but batting a 0, that says a lot considering we are returning and paying customers. One more chance, guys.

I bought a sweatshirt from there before I moved away and I wear it probably twice a week and it still looks like new three years later. Whoever was working there that day was nice and engaged us in conversation.

Waited for them to open at 930am to buy leash and wax. Manager opened the door to go in at about 925, but never opened store. Saw us waiting. Waited long past 930, until 945 to open doors. Got fed up and went to Cowells down the street. 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾
