If you have the chance to stop by in person to pick out knives at their gallery in Santa Fe, it is a great experience. The staff were happy to keep bringing out more knives for me to look at so I could see the various types of stone inlays and scales they had available. They were very informative, answered all of my questions, and let me take as much time as I wanted to look things over and make a decision as to what I wanted to buy. And of course, the knives themselves are excellent.

I bought a wine key from this outfit several years ago. The glue got soft in heat and the wood inlay feel off. Guess what it said under the wood... Made in China

Fantastic collection of beautiful knives. Very reasonable prices for handmade, American-made, premium material quality. Got a great deal (50% off) on a beautiful Damascus knife with turquoise and mother of pearl handle just because the handle had a tiny crack. Would buy from them again. The woman working there was very nice, helpful, and friendly and helped me pick out the knife I wanted. Even if the knifes aren't in your price range I highly recommend stopping by to look at their collection. They make true works of art.

This shop is amazing. I was gifted a knife of theirs many years ago and it was in need of some refurbishing. I sent it to them to be refurbished free of charge and it just came back in the mail looking better than I could've imagined. It truly looks brand new. I am so impressed with not only the craftsmanship but the service. This is the best knife I could dream to have. It has character, it's high-quality. It's extremely stylish and functional. As good as it gets is right. We've bought gifts for family and friends, as well as gifts for ourselves. Wedding presents (salad set w/ turquoise inlay), going away gifts, kitchen knives, etc. We keep going back. And, if you are lucky enough to find 'imperfects,' they are a screamin' deal!

Their work is so good it leaves you looking forward to using your knives & gear just to look at it.... You'll find their blades cut through anything like butter. I have a mother of pearl pocket knife with the thumb lock, original design by Anna & Miles Wirtel. It looks white & silver initially, and I noticed after I bought it that it has the entire spectrum of colors in it. All I can say is the satisfaction of having anything from this store multiplies after you buy it. Their work is dangerously good. It's worth it just to stop in & chat with the staff they are a breath of fresh air. Santa Fe Stone... WORKS!

Great place! Picked up three imperfects for a fantastic price. Very knowledgeable and zero pressure. Reasonable selection of Spydercos. I drove from Minnesota to come here. Will be back again!

Absolutely love my knife. The folks here are nice and worked with me to select a knife within my budget. Years later the knife chipped- I sent to back and the knife was fixed in 5 days, including mail time.

A huge collection of some of the most beautiful folding or pocket knives that I have ever seen. But no flippers (other than Kershaw Leek assist) and the action of the blade was tight on most of the blades that I tried.

Bought a set of 8 steak knives here about 2 years ago. No question they are beautiful, but they are rarely used and have never been in the dishwasher. That said, the handles fall off. The first time, I thought it was just a fluke and mailed the knife back. They fixed it and wanted $10 in postage to return it. Consequently, over time I have glued all the handles back on, not an easy process. However, my repair job has lasted. I will not do business here again.

Bought an expensive wooly mammoth pocket knife $125.00. In only a few months the handle fell apart. I returned it they fixed it. Later the knife became unscrewed and started to fall apart. I was in Santa Fe and dropped it off to get repaired. They told me they would contact me when the repairs were finished so that I could pick it up. 3 days later and no knife. Very disappointing. Leaving Santa Fe with no knife and no word from the company. Pretty knife but pretty bad quality & pretty bad service.

Love the knives. I've had many over the years from them and have always loved the quality and usability of the knives. Always a good show piece and always a great knife in a jam. These knives make great gifts as well. I have bought many sets for friends getting married and such. Thanks Guys! Keep up the good work. see you soon.
