We booked this hotel back in March for the final night of our honeymoon, expecting a relaxing and memorable end to our trip. Instead, it turned into one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had.
When we arrived, the receptionist looked visibly shocked to see us. It quickly became clear that our room had been double-booked, despite having reserved it months in advance. We were offered a different room, which they claimed was an upgrade — but it was anything but. The room was dark, dingy, dated, and worst of all, there were visible stains on the bedsheets. Completely unacceptable.
We raised our concerns straight away and were shown another room, which was equally poor. When we asked to speak to a manager, we were told they were unavailable — it was clear they simply couldn’t be bothered to deal with the situation.
We asked for a partial refund, and were told the only option was to check out. When we requested written confirmation that we’d receive a refund, we were met with a rude and dismissive attitude from staff. They showed no empathy or accountability, even after we explained this was the final night of our honeymoon.
Left with no alternative, we checked out and had to book another hotel last minute, which caused us additional expense and major inconvenience.
This hotel is run-down, unclean, and the staff are unhelpful, disinterested, and completely unprofessional. We would strongly advise others to avoid this hotel, especially for any occasion where reliability and decent service actually matter.
