We had a great time enjoying the thermal swimming pools with the family. We were able to get a spot for the group equipped with tables, chairs, hammocks and lounge chairs right next to the pools and bar. You're able to bring your own food and drinks as long as you clean up for a day pass of $10 per person. But if you would rather buy food then it's $45 per person. We bought drinks from the bar and they were rightly price as well! The place had military presence to keep the grounds secure since there were many tourists. Overall, we had a great time and look forward to visiting again real soon! Totally worth checking out.

We stayed at Termales de Santa Teresa for three days and had the chance to really experience everything the place offers at a slower, more relaxed pace. It’s tucked into a quiet natural area, and the entire property is centered around geothermal energy—from the pools to the sauna to the mud treatment. One of the things we appreciated most was the variety of pools. Each one had a noticeably different temperature, so we moved between them depending on the time of day and how long we wanted to soak. Some were warm and calming, others noticeably hotter, perfect for a short sit before cooling off. The water is naturally heated and slightly mineralized, which added to the restorative feel. We also tried the volcanic mud experience. After covering ourselves completely in warm mud, we let it dry in the sun before heading into the sauna, which has a strong sulfur smell due to the natural gases—it’s intense but part of the process. After sweating it out there, we rinsed everything off in a small sulfur pond, which also had that distinct scent. It’s not luxurious, but it felt like a full cycle—heat, rest, cleanse. Spending multiple days let us appreciate the rhythm of the place: quiet mornings, slow afternoons, and evenings under the trees. It’s not a resort, but the setting and the natural experience are what make it memorable. We left feeling lighter, relaxed, and more connected to the environment around us.

This is must go to if your are visiting El Salavdor. I have so much to say, but I can't say it all. Pictures is not enough to explain how great this place is as well. One thing I do recomand is to do the $25 deal and not just a $10 day pass. The $25 deal has the pool, mud bath and a meal with a drink. We plan to come back but stay at the cabins that they have and I will post my review on that next time. This was a experience that my family and I will alway remember.

These hot springs are pretty nice and clean. The only thing i didnt like is the fact they add alot of clorox and u can smell it. But its needed as well since many people are in them. We did the mud on our bodies and walked on the rocks and got in the thermal waters which was awesome! It is slippery. They have 2 for 35(30 min massage) my husband loved itbetter than the cancun massages. The environment is pretty fun. More of a couples place than kids i would say.

Lovely place, however if you want the all inclusive pass, you'll probably need to ask for it. We didn't know it existed until until another patron mentioned it. There are a lot of pools at different temps and the area is absolutely gorgeous. Beware of the drive, especially coming from Juayua as Google maps led us down a very treacherous dirt/boulder "road" until I advised we turn around. On the way out, we saw ATV's driving in so it is definitely NOT a main road and should you continue down it in a smaller vehicle, it will be a very bad day.

Easy to get there. Pool are very pretty, some with some bugs and leaves but it's ok it's all in a beautiful narure. We paid 15 dollars each for the entrance plus the camping overnight which was fabulous due to close and clean toilets, electricity and access to the pools at all times. We were disappointed by the 10 dollar request for the mud experience. I don't know how it was before the explosion that closed a few pools but now mud is in a bucket under a shed. Idk where you can rinse off. 10 dollars for that it's a but too much in my opinion.

Great experience. Could do with more signage indicating where to go and information about the various pools. I recommend to start at the bar pool and work your way to different pools from there. The pools are varying degrees from hella hot to cold plunge. The mud treatment was excellent. I didn’t mind the dogs but I wish they took better care of them. They had a lot of engorged ticks that looked terribly painful.

Definitely worth a visit. The food and drink is a little more expensive. I would bring your own food and drink.
