Excellent service, room, cleanliness, food, drinks, everything was great! I had a garden view villa, it was just amazing! I am a picky traveller, so if I absolutely loved it, it means a lot! Highly recommended!

Location and seaview are excellent. Garden is beautiful. Bungalows would need a bit of an upgrade as they feel date. Access to bathroom through stairs, fixed showerhead only, wifi was patchy. Quite a lot of noise from the road just behind, also during night. Safe digicode was not working, we had to use the security key only, so not really safe. Locking of the door a bit cumbersome with huge padlock. Not enough electrical sockets, near the bed only one at floor level for the bedlight. Paths to bungalows are very dark at night and there is not enough signage to find the way to your room. Complicated. But food was good and staff wonderful and helpful.

We were traveling in a group of 13 people. 7 children aged 16 to 13 and 6 adults. We had booked 5 out of the 10 rooms available and all were lovely to stay in. The pool front rooms have a nice view of the water. The garden ones were quiet and secluded. The beds were good. Aircon cold. I can't comment on pillows as we bring our own. The children reported that the top beds were definitely warmer but they still slept well so couldn't be that bad. Overall loved the gardens, shade and beautiful outlook in this accommodation. ||Staff: The front desk were great at accommodating our group needs. They organised taxis, snorkeling gear, a last minute addition of a bed at 9pm when one of the kids got sick and needed to change rooms, cooked our fish free of charge, complimentary toast for another sick member of the party. (side note: illness probably caught on the airplane not in Bali, definitely not food related)||Food: Easily some of the best food that we have eaten in Bali ever! Breakfast portions are small but very well made. There are a lot of good options and you can choose from a hot menu and a cold menu item. To start with some of us only ordered one item. I would suggest trying something off both if you like a bigger breakfast. We pre - ordered off the menu the day before because we were such a large group. The coffee was really good coffee machine coffee. Some of the children requested items not on the menu and they were able to accommodate requests.||Dinner and lunch menu were so good we didn't actually try many other places. Every meal that came out was really good and again being such a large group we sampled most of the menu! One of our group is an avid fisherman and says that the fish we caught was the best cooked fish he's ever had. ||Tips: If you are looking to snorkel or fish, order a boat from the beach front of the hotel. Save yourself a taxi ride. The beach front itself is not good to walk on but lovely to look at.

We had a great experience in Santai hotel and Gryia hotel, that both are from the same owner. The two luxury accomodations share facilities as a yogaclass and wellness. We stayed in Santai and found ourselves in a beautifull gardenview little bamboo bungalow with good and nice facilities. But what was most wonderfull was the fantastic and lovely people that helped us when my husband got an acute illness. It was moving how they cared for us as a family and helped us with everything, including the direct help from the hotelowner who assisted in the hospital for my husband. Can highly recommend this hotel to everybody: great food, nice accomodation and hotelpeople who feel like family! 🥰

It’s a very unique, small and cozy hotel. Bungalows are very atmospheric made of bamboo and rice 🌾. Hotel is literally on the beach and it’s the best feeling to wake up to the sound of waves and step right into sunrise. Amazing snorkeling with millions of corals and fishes are right at your doorstep. Breakfast choices are very few but very delicious (especially smoothie bawls) Minor: hotel is old and bit outdated. Bed sheets were yellow from numerous washing but clean and staff does not wipe of dust from 2nd floor even though cleaning is every day . Service is slow as there are only few staff members and quite often they seemed to be tired and busy but still friendly.

First of all, the view in this hotel is to die for!! Right next to the beach so you can ask for some snorkelling equipment and do snorkelling in front of the hotel. Though I do recommend booking a trip to see the Japanese ship wreck!! Komang was a really good guy and made our stay feel really really nice!!

Santai Hotel is located in the southern end of Amed. We stayed in an Ocean View Bungalow 2. It was slightly set back from the freeform pool with plenty of sun beds to relax.||The air-conditioned bungalows are lovely. High set with a mezzanine which is where our daughter slept in a canopied double bed. Our bed was also with a canopy. The bathroom and shower is located outdoors giving it a very tropical feel. ||Each morning the staff would deliver a flask of boiling water for tea and coffee|to the front balcony and I sat watching the fishermen push their boats out as the sun rose behind them. Incredibly peaceful. ||We had early starts being picked up by Adventure Divers each morning at 7:50am. Breakfast is not usually until 7:30am but we were accommodated by ordering the night before. This way we had time to enjoy a delicious Lumberjack hot meal with fruit and coffee. ||There is a nice Chinese restaurant across the road and ice cream next door. Plenty of warungs and resturants nearby or a short taxi to Jemeluk beach which has more resturants and bars. If you want a view there are some cheap resturants at Sunset Point area. ||The staff were incredible Komang at reception was very resourceful in arranging our every request. I don't have all the names but the staff were all super friendly and always keen to have a chat. ||This place has fantastic snorkeling right off the beach. It's easy without strong currents. We had our own equipment but they also hire it. ||Our daughter and I had an Emerald treatment. It was included in our package staying for 6 nights. I'm not sure exactly what it was meant to do placing 10 emerald stones on face, chest and belly button. We did both manage to have a snooze listening to the waves lapping up beside the outdoor spa bed .||Would definitely recommend this property. Quiet, relaxing and lovely staff.

I gave it full points even though the structure is a little old and needs some repair (which is happening) . Having said that the team is absolutely friendly and helpful, the gardens well tended, the view over the sea is fabulous and the some of the dishes really yum (try the tuna poke bowl). If a quiet, small place with a family feel is your thing, then this is your thing. No lout noisy Instagram clowns anywhere. The snorkeling off the beach is good and gets truly wow when you snorkel to the left until you reach Amed bay
