A pleasant hotel in a central city location and helpful, friendly staff. A good variety of food was available for breakfast. My only suggestions for improvement are (a) the shower was in the bath and the bath was not sealed around the edges, so water flooded the floor when you showered and (b) the juice at breakfast each morning was as weak as water. Those issues aside, I’d happily stay here again.

Very good location in a great location. We spent four nights here in a suite. It was spacious and the in room sauna was great. You can walk to many restaurants and all of the excursion company’s are right there too. There are a couple car rentals there too that you can walk too. We rented a car for two days and did some excursions on our own. I’m not a fan of group tours that take a lot more time.

Was very overpriced for what you get. The public areas are run down and it was just so basic. |One life wasn't working and the hotel was full of tours so it took us 30mins to manage to squeeze into the lift and get down with our luggage which meant we were late for our transfer.

The staff here couldn't have been more helpful, especially when our luggage was lost at the airport for 3 days. They gave us toiletries and let us leave our luggage for a whole day when we had a late flight booked. The breakfast was excellent with a good amount of choice and the foods were replenished quickly when they ran out. Our only negative was the fact that the sauna was only open from 6-9pm- the time we were out for dinner! We really couldn't understand the logic of that timing!! Anyway, overall a great place to stay and very central.

Nice hotel close to bars and restaurants literally on the door step. Room was spacious and very clean. Bathroom decent size. Breakfast mixture of cold and hot food was ok for a few days each day the same choice. Wafle making machine at breakfast which kids enjoyed. I would recommend stay in this hotel

My friend and I went in November for our trip, it was already very festive! It felt very magical everywhere we went! The location of the hotel could not be better, the service was very good, the room that we stayed had a very high ceiling and clean, breakfast was fabulous (although some of the food were a bit cold), but they had lots of choices with their own “do it yourself” waffle maker 😀😀. I had a fantastic stay, thank you! Hope I will come back again one day, Merry Christmas to you all 🎄🎄

I slept well. that's a great testimony for a hotel isn't it? Means that everything is as it should be. And my activity appointments iwere mostly by walking distance from the hotel.

Santa's hotel has a lobby bar area downstairs as well as upstairs. It's a great place to warm up if you're out in Santa's village and able to feel your toes and fingers. It offers a good selection of beverages and has a dine-in menu after about 4pm, and takes walk-in's. The menu offers meat and other selections of entrees for your liking. Staff is very attentive and kind. Highly recommend for anyone to drink or eat something. Should you need a taxi service, the reception desk is very helpful with this as well.

This was the best place we stayed while in Finland! The room was large, comfy, it had a couch, two twin beds, lots of pillows, air conditioning and a heater, a large shower, and a headed towel rack. I hung damp clothes on the towel rack and the clothes dried overnight (it was raining while we were there). The price was good, just over 100 Euros a night ($116 USD at the time), which is low for being in cities. It was conveniently located, with a 24-hour corner grocery (Kioski) just around the corner. There was a small pasty shop on-site and a restaurant on-site. The included breakfast was excellent, with Finish waffles and syrup, meats and fish, the boiled eggs were warm, there was a large selection of breads and fruit, milk and juice to drink, and excellent coffee. The staff were very good at their jobs; the coffee urn was checked on and changed quickly, when needed, tables were cleared, and the buffet was spotless. Our room was always made up quickly, and the front desk staff were friendly and helped me figure out my map of the city and the bus routes. It was a pleasure to return to Santa's Hotel Santa Claus at the end of the day. For my next trip to Finland, I intend to fly from Helsinki to Romanievi and spend the majority of my time there, hopefully once again at Hotel Santa Claus.
