First, we enjoyed the wine tasting. The hostess was great, the cat "Trucker" added to the rural / farm ambience. The wines were very good also.
We went with another couple (4 of us total), and ordered the "wine and cheese board" for our tasting. The cheese board was $30/person or $120 total. When we arrived, we received charcuterie board with 2 cheeses, 1 meet (SF salami), nuts and chocolate. We felt like the price of the board was excessive - would not order this pairing again. In fact, the price of the cheese pairing was the focus of our conversation, not the wine, the rest of the day. At the recommendation of the hostess, we walked over to the farm shop where they sold the cheese, nuts and salami which when we compared the cost in the shop vs the board, added to our disappointment of the cost of the cheese board.
We called and expressed our concerns about the cost of the board, and the person promised to return our call, and did not.
If you visit, enjoy the drive up or down the coast, enjoy the wine, beware of the cheese board.
