17 Best Things to Do in Madrid

"Named for the team's long-running president, Santiago Bernabéu Stadium is home of Real Madrid, the city's beloved pro soccer team. The stadium is something of a temple for soccer fans—81,000 of them when the place is full—which explains the palpable energy whenever the home team scores a goal. Kids especially will get a kick out of the behind-the-scenes tour, which visits the locker rooms, training areas, trophy room, and even the team's seats." - Ramsey Qubein

Santiago Bernabéu Stadium - Stadium Review | Condé Nast Traveler

"Big picture: What’s the vibe of the place? Named for the team's long-running president, Santiago Bernabéu Stadium is home of the Real Madrid soccer team. It's something of a temple for sports fans; you can even take behind-the-scenes tours. What can visitors see here? If you're one of the 81,000 fans who scores a ticket for a game, you'll experience the roar of the crowd. Seats are tight; prices grow, the closer you get to front-and-center (for any given game good seats can run close to $100). And the tours? How are they? Tours offer the chance to see the stadium in an entirely different light. Kids who are into sports will love the tours, which take visitors through the locker rooms, training areas, trophy room, and even the team's seats. Anything else we should know about it? The sizable stadium also hosts concerts and other live entertainment." - Ramsey Qubein

Simply breathtaking. We went on a guided tour. The experienced lady guided us and explained everything about the stadium. It's worth going with a guide to learn about the history and highlights of the place. Highly recommended. What I liked most was the punctuality. Don't dare come late because you'll be left out.

Incredible experience. The stadium is of moder engineering, futuristic, well designed. Hidden gem inside: BEER HALL. Its fantastic! They seem to have every conceivable Mihou beer on tap, and it is delicious. Plus, the self-pour taps are a great touch. You can relax on comfortable chaise lounges with the fantastic view of the stadium. Even if you are not a football fan (like myself) it's truly worth visit!! Plus of course Real Fan Shop!

Google
Very nice stadium. Structure is amazing. But the tour is a bit too overrated. My experience wasn’t as expected due to the maintenance they were doing all around the stadium and also inside it. I liked the stories they have in the museum. I would recommend this place to only big fans of Real Madrid.

Google
An absolute dream come true! We did the premier tour for my Real Madrid obsessed husband and it was fantastic. The tour guides have an incredible amount of knowledge as well as passion for the stadium and teams that play at Bernabéu. The visuals and displays were top notch and the highlight was the panoramic view, sitting in the stadium along with having some good food and drink from the snack bar at the end.

Google
Amazing futuristic stadium, wow! What an avenue. Very much modern, massive and well organized. I watched Arsenal and Real Madrid match. The entry and exit of the stadium is very much streamlined, you believe it’s an 80,000 seats stadium. Food and beverage is available, restrooms are super clean. The stadium is heated on the sealing which mostly covered. The screens are available everywhere. The stadium is a bit too vertical so the seating space is not very comfortable but it’s a football stadium so it’s ok.

Google
The newly renovated Bernabeu is a state of the art stadium, easily the best that I've been to (other than the Emirates, Highbury, and Kiryat Eliezer). I sat in the 200s tier slightly off-center. The whole pitch was easily visible. There were individual screens along the ceiling and the stand was covered and heated. The atmosphere was phenomenal because Real closed the roof to help make more noise, but after Saka and Martinelli made the remontada more like a remont-nada, the closed roof only amplified the singing of the Gunners fans and the crying from Los Blancos. Bragging aside, Real Madrid is the most successful club in the world and this is an adequate home to host the team and the fans. Beautifully designed. Clean. Way to access. Comfortable. Loud and proud! It's walkable from the city center (about an hour walking from Sol) and easily reachable by metro. If you can't watch a game, make sure to visit for a tour. It's iconic!

Google
Had the best time! The tour was very well organized and gave you the most for your money. We got to visit many areas of the stadium and even sit in the stands. It was incredible!!!

Google
It's now 39 euros if you buy it online. Just a museum, but it's worth to see the best football team's stadium in the world. By the way, the gift cups are cheaper in the store than online.

Yelp
It was a dream for hubs to finally visit Stadium Bernabeu. It is still under construction, but nearly NEARLY done. We were able to take a peek, but the tour is mainly their history, winnings, trophies, and player profiles. We took the tour, and accidentally ended up on the Spanish-speaking tour. Were able to glean most of the information, and the guide was very nice and engaging. I would recommend for die hard Real Madrid fans. We visited the store after, although they told us you could go through the tour path again, at your own pace (but must go all the way through).

Yelp
This review is mainly about my ticket purchasing experience. Beautiful stadium (from the outside...) but failed to get RM v Sevilla tickets... Apparently, tickets are ONLY sold online but the website is atrocious and extremely cumbersome to navigate. We tried so many times (online and in person) but failed over and over. We also read about mass reported issues of not being able to use US credit cards (due to fraud-related incidents). Thing is, I can't say for sure bc we never made it that far... Hotel concierge recommended viagogo and stubhub; however, most if not all of those tickets are severely marked up (starting €400-500), esp if you're looking for 3+ tickets, grouped together. RM website clearly states €75 "general public" tickets available for purchase on a certain date/time, but good luck trying to score even one. Hopefully next time we'll be wiser / more prepared.

Yelp
**Book your ticket in advance online to see the Real Madrid stadium. ** We went in July so it's their off season and they are doing construction and getting ready for having concerts during the off season. They gotta pay rent somehow! The museum is comprehensive, a lot of rooms to walk thru and trophies to see, and cool LED screens, cool interactive area for kids (and adults!), you're constantly taking an escalator after every big room and eventually get you to level 500 for your view of the inside stadium. It's a steep staircase and little scary so you're gripping the handrail, but once you take a seat and take in the stadium it's really cool.

Yelp
What a lifetime experience to be able to tour this stadium before it was completed and after it was done. Lots of interactive activities and full of Futbol content galore. The tour is worth every step into time past to present. I also enjoyed how they added in the basketball section as that is part of the Real Madrid training facility too. A must see! Don't skip out on this adventure.

Yelp
Never thought I would make it to the Bernabeu and see my boys! What an experience to see RM play in action. We also took the tour which I thought was meh but if you can get tickets to see a game it's a must. A madridista or not. The love for football is undescribable. The seats were good in any section. We were able to get seats in section 133 with some old socios but on the tour we had a panoramic view from section 405 and you can still see the whole field. I can't wait to come back one day! The official RM store is two stories and you can visit without seeing a game or tour. It's open to the public and can get crazy crowded. Lots of swag but quite expensive. You can get custom kits made and if you have a member Madridista card you get 5% off in stores. Plus return VAT so bring your passport and get a receipt and you can scan the receipt at the airport.
google avatar

Christina A.

Yelp
If your a Real Madrid fan you got to watch a game at the stadium! We came for the tour and watched the game. We legit flew from Texas to Madrid just to come here. It's still has construction so we didn't get to see everything in the tour which was a bummer but what we did was cool and organized! It was easy to get pictures and videos and they even have a photo op as part of the tour. You can get guided or self guided we did self guided and I don't think we missed anything because my husband knows so much about the team The game was cool only thing I wish was that they sold hot chocolate and churros lol all the snacks were not really got just sunflower, candy , and sandwiches
google avatar

Luka B.

Yelp
Best soccer stadium in the world! So many seats for people to sit and the crowds are amazing! They serve some snacks and drinks like Sprite and bocadillos de jamón. There are many accessible bathrooms around the stadium. The field is big and amazing and the screens around the field are big and around the whole stadium. Getting to your seats isn't too complicated either. During the summer when there are no soccer matches the stadium offers tours to the stadium to see all of the trophies the Real Madrid team has won and the field that they play on during home games. It is an amazing experience when you get a chance to see a game at the Santiago Bernabéu!

Yelp
Paid for guided tour tickets. The tour guide took us through the trophy room repeating what was written on the walls of the room in English and Spanish. We could of read this on our own. No special insight was given during our tour experience. There was NO behind the scenes. No locker room tour. No field experience. The guided tour AND regular admission ARE THE SAME experience. The website does not accurately state this. Also, there were a lot of regular admission people listening in on our tour guide experience which was annoying. Merch: The jerseys are not worth the price of 175 euros. There is an additional cost for lettering which is understandable, but the quality is that of hot pressed car decals. The tour experience guided, or not, is an extreme disappointment. They are implementing a cool field shifting technology which would of been more interesting to learn about than each year and trophy the team has obtained. DO NOT recommend this tour.

Yelp
It's hard to give a fair review for Bernabeu Stadium because I visited it in December 2022 during the time they were demolishing it to build a new one. However, my review and the 3 stars I gave, it's based on that experience. We got to the stadium to find out they're demolishing it, but they we're still doing the tour. The players changing rooms and the field were all under construction. The only thing we could see was the room were they kept all the trophies in, which comparing to other stadiums I've been to like the one in Barcelona or Milano, was not that impressive. Their store was also very small and not what I had expected. I hope that this will change when the new stadium is build.
google avatar

Liz C.

Yelp
Tickets are €15 online and €18 in person. Reading older reviews, this seems like they've discounted it about €7-€10 from before they were under renovation. You walk through construction tunnels, then a room full of trophies, through another construction tunnel, and through the currently under construction stadium. It smells like fresh cement. The grass was still brown and being sprinkled on my visit. Then they *allow* you to sit for five minutes to watch the construction happening. You exit; they scan your ticket once more, and you're in the gift shop. -fin- I don't know that I would even think €3 would be worth this experience. Maybe once it's complete.

Yelp
DO NOT BUY THE TOUR. Go visit camp nou in barcelona instead. If I could give negative stars, I would. We had tickets for 2pm tour on 12/31. We arrived at the gate listed on the ticket at 2:03pm (yes, we were 3 min late) and there were no signs of anyone there. When we finally found our way to the clothing store, the ladies working told us it closed at 2pm?! Our tour was at 2pm AND when we were booking, we saw there were tours until 6pm. Yea, we were 3 min late, but there were no signs of anyone there when we arrived at the gate. We asked if we could refund or reschedule since we paid 15 euro per ticket (60 euro total) and they told us to email them. (We got no reply and help). I came here to see other people's reviews and it's obvious that the stadium is just scamming tourists hoping to get away with not giving a tour since the stadium is under heavy construction. I saw other peoples reviews saying there's nothing to see so it makes sense that they would try to shut off tour access ASAP so you feel like you missed out when really they are ripping you off to see construction. There website is NOT transparent at all about the construction. And I saw other people were paying 20 euro per ticket a few months ago, whereas our tickets were 15 euro, and NOW the website is selling them for 12 euros. It's obvious they know they're grifting folks with nothing to see so they're lowering prices. Yes, we were late, but I'm sure even if we made it in, it would have been a disappointment. They are really unacommodating for tourists who travel from all over the world and are unfamiliar with the city. TLDR: don't visit now! You should only visit after they finish construction unless you want to see some construction. Otherwise, just live off the pictures online.
google avatar

Arilys P.

Yelp
We went and the stadium is under renovations. Even if you do not purchase tickets in advance there could be a chance to buy them at the location across from the stadium. The security person will direct. The self tour was nice and interesting to see and hear. Not the best place for kids. We enjoyed our visit.

Michael S.

Yelp
Rip off. Most disappointing stadium to date. Money grab while stadium under construction. DO NOT GO.
google avatar

Jacques R.

Yelp
This stadium is not of our fan club, but we had a great experience coming here after hours to a private event... we entered the stadium and went down the bleachers until we arrived to a private salon where we were served drinks and food overlooking the whole stadium.... it is grand and impressive... beautiful grass.... enjoy

Yelp
The best stadium the world has ever had and ever will. It's not just about getting the feeling of presence that historic games and fantastic players, but they are the best!!
google avatar

Eva L.

Yelp
Worst experience here. I came to watch the Madrid vs PSG, and some gate people were helpful, others not. The workers at gate 27(my original ticket gate) told me to go to Gate 14, then gate 37, then the ticket booth only to find out that they can't help me nor in providing evidence that I was unable to get into the game. I heard from outside how much fun was inside and was super upset, there was no additional help nor anything that they added in terms of potentially selling me another ticket. I am upset and annoyed because one guy at the booth from my initial check in kept saying no to everything and not providing any feedback nor ways to help despite my ticket getting reject. I get like they had me running around to different spots and ended in nothing as a result other than 2 hours of my life wasted. Made for a bad experience and put a sour note on my last day in Madrid.

Yelp
I've never toured a stadium or a ballpark, so this was a new experience. Estadio Santiago Bernabéu is the home of the Real Madrid football team. As they're one of the best (or THE best?) futbol teams of all time, they have a pretty solid bunch of people who want to see more than just the team playing in matches. So there is a behind-the-scenes tour of the stadium. It's very well organized from start to finish with proper tickets and a clearly delineated path to follow that takes you up and down and all around. From the top level of the nosebleed section of the seating areas down through the trophy room and even into the dugout (is that what they call it?) where you can get your selfie sitting in the same seats where Zidane and Ronaldo might sit during a match. There are paid pictures as well. Nice green screen stuff where you can be standing right next to the futbol star of your dreams. Tip: A panorama picture from the top of the stadium will get you major points from your Facebook friends.

Yelp
Ahhh Real Madrid! We're fans, so when we found ourselves in Madrid we HAD to do a tour of the stadium. Guys, it's completely worth the money! We did our tour the day before a match with Barcelona. It was awesome to imagine the amazing game that would be taking place in the same stadium we were touring, just a day later. We got to go into the locker room, up to the top of the stadium seats, and down to the field. I'd definitely recommend.
google avatar

Areli E.

Yelp
Amazing tour and amazing clásico. If you do the tour do not pay for the self guided thing, is not worth it. Other than that my experience was amazing. Hala Madrid, i can't wait to come back to another clásico.
google avatar

Stephanie S.

Yelp
Note: Written from the pov of a non-soccer, non-RM fan and just a tagalong. Entrance fee is like 25EU, but it doesn't stop there! From the guys out front selling scarves, to the "fan experience" photos, machines where you insert real money and receive a cheap souvenir coin, to the exit-thru-the-gift-shop, this site was a bit tacky for me. I'm not a fan of soccer though, so perhaps if you are + a Real Madrid fan, you won't feel as used! Since there were tour times, I *assumed* there was going to be a guide, but NO. So not sure why there are certain times listed as opposed to a time range, e.g. 9-5pm. What you pay for is basically a self-guided tour. You start from the top of the stadium, work your way down, walk through halls with old memorabilia, at your own pace. I think my partner enjoyed himself, so that's the important part. It'll just be boring for non-fans, that's all.
google avatar

Leighanna K.

Yelp
The stadium concept is much different here than in the US. Think less advertising, less in-between entertainment and more reliance on just enjoying a good match. The club is quite large but sectioned off in a way that you really can only see the view from your section versus being able to do a loop around the stadium while watching the game. Main food offerings are sandwiches, hot dogs, and pizza. Smoking is common in the venue so the air quality can be poor but also determined by who you're sitting around. The Real Madrid team did not disappoint - the fans can get loud but the stadium wasn't too crowded for a local league game. There's also super convenient access to the stadium via metro.
google avatar

Tiffany M.

Yelp
Watched Real Madrid vs. Las Palmas on 11/5/17. We tried to order tickets online but the payment would not process. When we arrived at the stadium to purchase tickets, there were signs saying that there were problems with the site. We chose our seats from the chart and purchased our tickets. The game was later that night but we wanted to make sure it wasn't sold out. The stadium is beautiful! Usually the higher you go up, it gets colder and colder but the stadium had heated lamps at the top so it was very warm, but comfortable. I don't really watch soccer at home but I wanted to get the experience of the game while in Spain. In comparison to American games, there were no cheerleaders. Their cheerleaders were a band with a huge group of fans that cheered and chanted in unison the whole time. Also there were no performances during the half time show. It was quick and a lot of the people in the stands just stood up and ate during this time. It was a lot of fun. I enjoyed the energetic game and crowd. Be sure to take pictures quickly because at the end of the game, security wants you out. They play no games clearing out the stadium once the match is over.

Yelp
Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.... Real Madrid's stadium and the true heart of the city. Real Madrid is the pride and joy of every Madrileno and as a tourist, coming to a game is a great glimpse into the local culture. We first came for a stadium tour, which I can't recommend enough. We got tickets online beforehand, scanned them on our phones when we arrived, and had a blast exploring the interactive Real Madrid museum and tour. We then came back for an actual game, which was fun but difficult to score tickets to. Because most of the seats are for season pass ticket holders, we had a friend of a friend give us their IDs to use their seats at a game they couldn't attend. We got moved from our seats about three times by the security because we weren't sure where to sit and everytime we sat down somewhere, a group would show up for those seats. It wasn't super clear, but maybe there's a better way to do it. Don't miss this spot!
google avatar

Ann G.

Yelp
As a lifelong fan of the beautiful game, no trip to Madrid would be complete without at visit to the Bernabeu. Truly this is a place not to be missed. Even if you cannot make it to a home match, take the tour! Everything was perfect: The exhibits with every single trophy they've ever won, boots and kits from day one, interactive displays, pics on the pitch, press room, and the locker room (where these awesome men take showers!)were impeccable. The best part was getting a pic with La Orejona!!!! That, and getting my Zidane jersey! ¡Hala Madrid, Y nada más!
google avatar

Matthew H.

Yelp
As soon as you pull up to the stadium, you feel the history of Real Madrid. The tour is by far the best I've taken at any stadium in the world. The trophy rooms are otherworldly. You'll never see anything like it. The upper deck is really steep so be warned if you are afraid of heights. I loved being able to walk on the pitch. Lastly, of course all tours end at the gift shop. I recommend coming here.
google avatar

Ben S.

Yelp
Holy history, Batman! In-depth visibility Impressive interactivity I'm no Real Madrid fan, but thanks to my wife, we got our family tickets for this experience when we booked our trip to Spain, because she figured that I'd get a kick out of it, sports fan that I am. I'm glad she did. While I feel like I'd harbor nothing but resentment if I toured Yankee Stadium in the same way, somehow, being removed from this football team's exploits and then being awash in the rich and storied history like a dousing cold shower was a genuinely impressive experience. The "tour" is meaty - packed with facts, incredibly gripping videos, interactive pieces, trophies and honors - and yet it isn't a tour at all so much as a consistently intriguing pathway through this living, breathing museum to a team and its passionate fans. You trek your way to the top for a majestic view out and down onto the pitch, and then gradually make your way down through galleries, observation walkways, luxury box seating, the pitch itself, the team locker facilities, and eventually, as all these things go, you exit through the gift shop. Given that it's self-paced and so varied in its virtues, it's tough to nail down how much time you'll want, but I'd hazard that 2 hours feels about right if you plan to soak most of it up without necessarily reading every single placard. Situated in north-central Madrid, it isn't at the epicenter of where you might be staying as a visitor, but an easy metro ride gets you here, and I'd recommend anyone with even a faint passing interest in sports make the trip. After all, some things are simply impressive whether you want to admit it or not...and this is almost incontrovertibly that. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Went for the Clásico, which we lost :( But it was a great experience and the pitch is even better than I imagined! Beautiful stadium ! Hala Madrid

Yelp
I loved playing here, I will miss this place. I will miss the fans, and the banners made in my honor. I will miss my teammates such as Marcelo and Modric. But most important I will miss my spectacular coach Zidane. Farewell Madrid you will always be in my heart, HALA MADRID! C. Ronaldo #7

Yelp
- Awesome tour - Our tour was about 1 hour, 45 minutes - The locker and field visit, was my favorite
google avatar

Nishly A.

Yelp
Preface to review: I have zero interest in sports This tour was one of the best I have ever experienced. It takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to complete on your own and is very interactive. You get to see the trophies, uniforms through the years, sports clips and photos from the beginning. You will get to see everything from the players locker room to the actual field and dugout. Very cool. Experience. Recommend you check it out if you are a football fan or if you just like to have an interactive tour.
google avatar

Jeff F.

Yelp
I am not a Real Madrid supporter... But one of those strange Americanos who LOVES the beautiful game! So upon my first visit to Madrid, I had to visit the Mecca of Bernabeu. And I'm glad I did. For €19 you get access to the actual players locker room, players tunnel, team bench, pitch and the trophy room! Really it's a museum of the most successful club of the last 100 years. And it's really well done with hands on technology in multiple languages. As you exit through the gift shop, you can pick up a customized jersey. Or digital pix of you with the player of your choice. Ole Ole Ole!
google avatar

Ali C.

Yelp
What a beautiful stadium, such a great showcase for Real Madrid. The museum was spectacular and impressive, inspirational as well. A must see.
google avatar

Nilam P.

Yelp
We bought the 57 euro tourist option with scarf and your. Totally worth the money! The whole tour is like 2 hours and you get the full experience. It's amaZing how this stadium is built and all the fan experiences. Definitely recommend going!

Yelp
I've loved Real Madrid since I was a little girl. In 2011 I finally got to visit this beautiful stadium. I went to a game, a big one. Derby di Madrileno; Real Madrid - Atletico Madrid. It was an amazing game, so many supporters and it was just amazing. Later that season I went again, this time it was the last game of the season. Real Madrid already won the championship. It was a game vs Real Mallorca. After the game, which Real Madrid won, there was the Championship celebration. There was a white blanket on the field with a podium. All the players were there and my favorite player, Iker Casillas got the trophy in his hands. There was music, it was already dark outside, there were lights, everybody in the stadium had white clothes on and there was firework on top of the stadium. It was a dream come true, amazing! I watch every single match on TV and it just is hard to believe that I was there. If you ever visit the city, don't forget this temple. It's amazing. The stadium tour is also very nice. I love Madrid!

Michael A.

Yelp
Finally got to not only go to a game at one of the most prestigious soccer/football stadiums in the world but also got to see one of the biggest games in the world - El Classico, which pits Barcelona FC against Real Madrid. The Bernabeu is, of course, the home of Read Madrid. What can one say about perfection in a stadium? It holds over 85,000 passionate fans and it is rare that the place isn't sold out or close to being sold out. Other than catching a game, it is also possible during the week to take a stadium tour, which I unfortunately wasn't able to do. They have a massive fan shop where you can buy just about anything with the famous Read Madrid logo on it, including soccer shirts with the players names which will set you back about $100. When I was in there they had a couple young ladies dressed in the team uniform recording messages for the team for the upcoming game. Quite a photo op too! Inside the stadium is massive and I was sitting in the nosebleed section, just one row from the very top. It was OK though because it seems that every seat in the Bernabeu is a good seat, so you won't be disappointed if you catch a game. Outside the stadium are some restaurants and watering holes to grab a beer or three before the game. There are also stalls set up all over the place for food and souvenirs, so the place is buzzing with activity. Just do it!
google avatar

Kaye R.

Yelp
I watched a "futbol" game in Estadio Santiago Bernabeu with 5 other friends. Real Madrid vs Sociedad Madrid in February, 2011 "Great" Features 1. The stadium is really really huge. Capacity is 84,000 seats. This was were 1992 World Cup was held 2. Easy to get to this stadium via Metro Train. Exit is "Estadio Santiago Bernabeu". Once you exit, the stadium is walking distance 3. There are big screens to watch the game when you are at the top level (nosebleed seats) "Not So Great" Features 1. Cost of ticket : €35 Euro / $48 when we were at the front row of the top section ( aka Nosebleed seats - haha) 2. Once the game is done, there's a very very very long line to get to the Metro Train. So if you can walk 2-3 blocks away tontake another Metro Train Station - do that!
google avatar

Alex C.

Yelp
It's better than what I expected: the Real Madrid interactive show was excellent - the impressive display of silverware, the player and team stats, this is the winningest football club in the world after all. The stadium is impressive and if you are a fan of football and particularly of Los Blancos, this is not to be missed when you visit Madrid.
google avatar

Jake J.

Yelp
I've seen two games here and loved both experiences. Real Madrid are so fun to watch. I am going to my third game next week and can't wait to see all the action again. I will be a Real Madrid fan for life! HALA MADRID!!!

Yelp
You can't fail to be blown away by this stadium. One of the most famous stadia in the world. And it truly is breathtaking. The Musuem is also enjoyable if you can stomach the self importance. The reason I have given them 2 stars is that for a world famous tourist attraction that probably gets several hundred thousand visitors a year, if not more, it is a pretty shoddy experience. First I had to queue for 45 mins to buy my ticket. And when I did it was through a tiny porthole on the outside of the stadium. It felt more like a pawn shop than a world class venue. Then there was the security. I understand it is necessary but it was done in a grotty concourse but a couple of surly security guards who barely spoke English. Where's the big welcome telling you that you've arrived at Estadio Bernabeu? The tour is self guided and very impersonal. Nobody on hand for questions..... except when they are giving you the hard sell on buying photos. For anybody that has done any of the top EPL tours, they will know just how great the experience can be. Come on Real Madrid, make this experience what it should be.

Yelp
I, for the life of me, didnt understand why so many people on my tour bus, needed to hop off and go here. but after stopping past twice, I said: when in Madrid... Someone greeted me and told me what to expect, I thought, why not. Got my ticket and went thru the detectors, up quite a few escalators to get to the top. once off, you get a meager few of the stadium from the nose bleeds. No signage, I'm left wondering is this it !??! found my way to the tour, and yes you get what you pay for. Its very organized, and take you thru the experience of the stadium and the history of madrid sports. I highly recommend it

Yelp
Heaven and Hell together in one afternoon. Heaven- The stadium is tour is beautiful, a great mix of photos ops, trophies and access to exclusive areas of the stadium. Amazing for me, my wife and 9 year old son. Hell- Don't ever come here with a stroller. Brought two of them, 2 year old and 4 year old daughters. It was hell. The most inaccessible stadium I have ever been in. Thousand stairs. Had to carry the stroller down ever one. No help, no access. Embarrassing to this billion dollar establishment.

Yelp
Okay, hands-up, I'm not a big football fan and my review reflects that. Firstly, I thought the EUR22 for the tour of an empty stadium was a bit steep. There are far more interesting places to visit for your money in Madrid. The tour ends in the vast Real Madrid shop where you are left to your own devices - so I suggest you get out fast before thinking about wasting (I mean spending) more cash on Real Madrid souvenirs (EUR10 euros for a pencil or sheds loads more for a shirt - that sort of thing!). Some reviewers have mentioned that they went to a match for EUR25 and had a great time in a great atmosphere. If you're a football fan I suggest you go in season and attend a match - seems like a much better deal. If you're not a fan - don't bother.

Yelp
This review is for the stadium tour only. We are fans and wanted to visit this historic stadium to take the tour. This was my first stadium tour and didn't know what to expect. It's a self-guided tour and it was worth the money. They have really invested in the tour and you can feel the history and the excitement of the team today! You're able to walk through the locker room and even sit in the area where the players sit during the game. A definite must if you are a fan.

Yelp
If you are a football fan or a Real Madrid fan, this is a MUST! In order to avoid lines and getting a chance through the locker rooms and grass, it is recommended to go early. The trophy room is spectacular, there is great attention to the history of this club through videos, description cards, as well as artifacts. This is the perfect for adults and kids.

Yelp
I must say this was a dream come true. Everything was amazing. It doesn't matter if you are not a fan of the best club in the world it is a stadium like no other. Definitely do the tour around of the stadium and make sure you do if before or the day after the match that way you can go into the locker room and dressing room. You can also save money by becoming a Madrista. I believe it was 50E but it pays for itself if you do the tour. You also get great savings in their adidas store next door. you can see all the trophys that they have gotten over the years including Ronaldo's Ballon 'd oro. Me and my wife absolutely loved it and can wait to come back again.

Yelp
I'm not a huge European soccer fan, but as an avid recreational soccer player, I was curious to see what a real first-class soccer stadium was like. Since the entry fee for Bernabeu was included in the Madrid card we had purchased, my gal pal and I decided it was definitely worth a visit. We really enjoyed this self-guided tour. You get access to many different parts of the stadium, starting with a nice view of the whole thing from the top to walking through the locker rooms and getting to walk on a small part of the field and sit in the dugout, taking pictures the whole way. The trophy room was very cool, filled with more trophies than I could have imagined and I was astounded that some of the trophies were about as tall as I am (5'2"). If you're a big soccer fan, this is a definite fun stop, probably more so if you're lucky enough to score game tix. And for those who like cheesy photo souvenirs, you can get your photo "taken" with the player of your choice which you can purchase before your visit ends. The stadium is a little out of the way from some of the other museums and such, but easily accessibly by public transit.

Yelp
It was an amazing experience to see Real Madrid play at their home stadium, in person. I long to return and experience it all over again.
