Good theming and decor. Super clean property. Wonderful staff. Cute rooms, nothing was broken or malfunctioning. Lighting was consistent (I hate it when a hotel or resort has different temp light bulbs all over the place). The breakfast and lunch included in the stay are pretty good, way better than most places at that price point imo. The cantina is full of snacks and drinks and we definitely made good use of it. The trees and the giant privacy hedge are well maintained and I love being surrounded by plant life rather than sterile walls in every direction. It’s a pretty quiet resort, and I appreciate coming back to a mellow place after being out on the town, but it can get frisky if you want it to.

Our first time at Santiago Resort and we both absolutely loved our stay. Such a beautifully presented boutique hotel, I can't recommend it enough. The perfect balance of Palm Spring's elegance and laid back luxury. The service from all of the team really was outstanding - professional, relaxed, thoughtful, discreet. The best bit about out stay was meeting many of the other guests, having really nice chats over the warming bubbles of the hot tub. We'll definitely be back!

Google
And actually superb hotel. I don’t know that I’ve been anywhere where I watch staff clean as much as I’ve seen staff clean here. My room is immaculate around the pool was immaculate. Eating area was immaculate. In addition, the people were so friendly. And helpful. The breakfast that is included is better than I expected. The included lunch terrific. There are so many extras that are included in the rooms from snacks to water bottles to pool towels. Their recommendations for restaurants were spot on. I cannot recommend this place enough. I might add that it felt very comforting and safe here. I came to relax and enjoy the weather and it was absolutely perfect for that.

My bf and I had a lovely time at Santiago. The grounds and rooms are immaculate and well designed. The pool and hot tub are super relaxing and the lounge chairs are super comfortable. I also love the outdoor shower and probably used it more than the in room shower. We also enjoyed the fire pit at night which is very easy to operate. I particularly love how they serve bfast and then you order lunch so you have very little reason to leave. The crowd is mixed, trends a bit older but everyone is super friendly, non-judgmental and welcoming. We love this place so much we booked next year before we left.

Google
I don't know why Google lists this resort as 3 stars; it is definitely 5 stars. Kent and his team were incredible, and I absolutely love this resort. From the rooms, to the pool, the meals... and the fact that you feel there is always a friend there to help. A level of service that the likes of Four Seasons aren't even capable of. They use demand-based pricing, which is fair for independent boutique hotels that want to run a sustainable business. But that does mean some weekends, especially for more premium rooms, can have significantly steeper prices than other days. BUT, you'll never regret staying here. And book far in advance... it's the worst-kept secret amongst the gays, and they fill up fast.

Google
The perfect peaceful place to sit back and relax, yet walking distance or a short ride to all that the city offers. A glorious view of the sun’s rays shining on the mountain side from the hot tub as you sip your morning coffee. Wonderful breakfasts and boxed lunches. Each and every employee here, regardless of their specific job, will strive to pamper you. New friends and old will greet you at the Santiago Resort!

This is an update to my previous 5 star review from November 2024. You can read about the particulars there (and in the numerous other 5 star reviews from other Tripadvisors)||Well, we're back from 6 wonderful nights at the Santiago! Just like last year, it was a completely wonderful stay! They say you can't improve on perfection, but somehow this little resort finds a way.||Everything from last year holds true. The resort is so welcoming and they really have thought of everything to make your stay unlike anywhere else. ||The facilities continue to be immaculately clean and well appointed. Throughout the day there is someone attending to your room or the common areas. Every morning I was so impressed as I saw Jeff the groundskeeper manicuring the plants like a bonsai master. The rooms staff keep everything tidy and they even moved all our luggage since we had a midstay room change - all with a smile. The gentlemen in the breakfast nook, Roy and Neal, kept us well fed, but also made us feel like family. The star of the show is Kent, the general manager. He went above and beyond to get my complicated reservation sorted. I have elite status at Marriott, Hilton, IHG, and Delta and I wish he could do a masterclass for them on efficiency, great communication, and warmth. Even if the facilities weren't as nice as they are, I'd still return because you just don't find service like this anymore. ||But I would be remiss if I didn't mention the other guests. This was our second Thanksgiving at the Santiago, and easily half the people there, we already knew! Suffice it to say, we, like so many others, have already booked for next year. This resort attracts a diverse group of all shapes, sizes, ages, ethnicities, and nationalities and everyone is so friendly! ||I love writing reviews like this and expect I will be doing so again in the future!

Google
Loved our recent stay at Santiago. First time customer. Staff, breakfast & lunch, grounds & pool, and room all exceeded our expectations! Our stay was Monday thru Wednesday. Front staff were very friendly and provided great recommendations. We used their bikes one day to ride over to the trail behind the Art Museum (which was closed for the day), which was a nice hike. Laid by the pool (which was the perfect temperature) one day and evening (with unlimited pool towels) in their very comfortable chaise lounges, which was perfect too! Room was on the first floor in the corner; very quite and comfortable bed. Room set up with lots of plugs for all your electronics. We did not have a car, and airport was only a very short ride away. Highly recommend. Will stay there again.

Yelp
Santiago is, without question, the best resort in this category--full stop. It's classy, impeccably clean, and the staff has mastered the rare skill of making every single guest feel like the most important person on property. I'm not exaggerating: I was chatting with other guests in the hot tub, and one of them said he felt like he was their favorite guest. I immediately thought, "Wait... I thought that was me." Then we realized we all felt that way--and we just laughed. That level of hospitality is intentional and truly impressive. The breakfast? Next level. Nothing about it is basic. The overnight oats alone deserve their own fan club. I pretend to feel guilty going back for seconds... and sometimes thirds... but trust me, the guilt fades quickly. If I had to say anything negative about Santiago, it would only be this: leaving hurts. Every stay, I make new friends I miss, and I always leave feeling like part of the Santiago family. A few well-deserved shout-outs: * Kent -- absolutely phenomenal. I hope the owners understand the gem they have in him. * Rick -- kind, genuine, and always makes you feel welcome. * Robert -- consistently goes the extra mile to make our experience perfect. Santiago isn't just a resort--it's a magical experience that keeps pulling you back. I can't wait to return.

Yelp
Decided to take a three day trip from sf and took a friend with me. All of my friends in SF recommended the Santiago. I wanted a place that wasn't a cruise focused resort. And I was FAR from disappointed. The staff have been so amazing. It was the perfect getaway with the right amount of shade from the sun. The outdoor shower helped keep pool time consistent. Free parking was amazing. The breakfast AND lunch was something I've never experienced before! The guests were so nice. The place also being clothing optional ensured that no tan lines were. I would love to say more but it there's not enough space! Thank you for taking care of my friend and I.

Yelp
wonderful place, with wonderful staff. kent is super charming and helpful, really sets that tone that you are here to relax without a worry. all other staff too- cheery, smiley, gracious and helpful. as you can see in reviews- everyone says come here. and they are right. well cared for place. relaxing grounds. simple, elegant rooms with helpful amenities like a dorm size fridge with small freezer. and very good a/c that is quiet, powerful and most importantly effective in stifling desert heat. (over 110 degrees F when i came... unbearable outside in the heat.) plus breakfast provided right there in the morning is a great way to start the day. and the lunch options they provide really make all the difference too. i mean who wants to go out in the middle of the day to find a bite? it's all... right. here. crowd was very mixed from young to old and everrrrry type. and if you say hello, its easy to start up a conversation with anyone. of course some people just want to chill with a book and headphones -- ie the don't bother me sign -- and that is absolutely cool too. but no one was an uptight pretentious ass. just be friendly and everyone is friendly back. a lot of people from l.a. including me, but also many others from europe, the south, and midwest. an eclectic crowd. this is the place to relax, kick back, unwind. i would say come here with the intent to chill. if more happens, so be it. but overall just a relaxing low key vibe with a very gracious staff.

Yelp
My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. Every detail was perfect. Kent and his team are amazing. Friendly, welcoming and they all go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. The breakfast and lunch was delicious and allowed us to meet more of the great guests. We cannot wait to stay at Santiago Resort again very soon.

Yelp
Count us among those that have fallen deeply in love with Santiago. This was my second trip, first with my partner, and it didn't disappoint. Weather was magnificent. Everything in perfect balance from the sun and shade, privacy and community, a touch of debauchery but with class. We already booked for next year but decided we couldn't wait that long so we'll be back in April.

Yelp
They were unable to fix a backed up toilet until the morning after. I even had to unclog it myself as no help was offered! Not was I expected from a $500 a night resort.

Yelp
We did the hat trick! Wrapped up our latest trip to Palm Springs at the 3rd (and original) property with this hotel group (so you can tell we like them) Unfortunately, there were a few misses at this property. The grounds are great (and probably my favorite of all 3 properties) and with all the same amenities as the others (breakfast, lunch, cantina with coffee and soda, etc). Also, Kent is great and clearly loves and is great at his job. A couple "things to improve" or just awareness for other guests. Cleanliness could be improved: the first morning we discovered a pool of lube on one of bedside tables from a previous guest). Also, the floorboards are filthy (once you see them, you can't unsee them). The shower was also lacking in water pressure from the shower rainfall head (there is a super low handheld that had great pressure, which led me to prop it somewhere else to shower with ..) Finally, if you're on the bottom level where there are rooms above, I hope you aren't a light sleeper because you can hear the people above just walking around - not sure there is much to be done about that, but just an FYI. Overall, I think Descanso is our favorite of all 3 properties.

Thomas J.

Yelp
Another great stay at the Santiago. The staff are friendly and attentive. The rooms and grounds are clean and well maintained. The pool and surrounding grounds are beautiful and have mountain views. Our room had spectacular mountain views. The resort is located near lots of restaurants and shopping. We highly recommend the Santiago. We've already booked our stay for next year.

Yelp
Best place for gay travelers. Breakfast and lunch included. Clothing optional. Book early for prime months.

Yelp
This was my first visit to The Santiago and I could not have been more pleased. The delightful and immaculate property and amenities were equalled by a terrific welcoming environment that the Santiago team has created. At all times, I felt a nice balance between camaraderie with other guests and privacy when desired. I will be returning!

Yelp
So pleasantly surprised. Like, probably, half of the people on this page... I started coming to Palm Springs when I was younger and a bit broke... staying at the cheapest option or couchsurfing with friends. Once I started making more grownup money, I made my way into a few of the midrange resorts; some were okay, some were a step up from okay, none particularly wonderful. A few years ago I upgraded a step further when I discovered INNDulge, which is still a favorite of mine... nicer facilities, a good vibe, friendly employees, better rooms. I also enjoyed the hosted happy hours and the continental breakfast. This trip was VERY spontaneous; and a holiday weekend (Pride), so I wasn't surprised that my first choice, INNDulge, was booked and unavailable. I went back to my list of 'just okay' places from before... also booked and unavailable. I thought that Santiago, with its reputation of being upscale and popular, was a long shot, but gave them a call anyway, was pleasantly surprised that they had something Monday through Friday, so I booked it. First impression, the grounds are amongst the nicest I've seen in Palm Springs in a gay clothing-optional resort. If you didn't know any better, you wouldn't know that it wasn't a four-star mainstream venue. The room was large and the bed was big warm and comfy. The shower was huge, which at 6'6 and 230 lbs. I appreciated especially. The continental breakfast was gorgeous (see pics) and that they include a delivered lunch poolside every day was a pleasant surprise as well. Loved the outdoor shower, the fully stocked cantina w/ Starbucks coffee machine and fridge full of soft drinks and La Croix. The crowd is a bit more mellow - it's not a party place - people are relaxing, unwinding. I've heard that it's not as 'friendly' as some resorts, but honestly, didn't really find that to be the case. People weren't quite as drunk and extraverted as other venues... but when approached, were generally friendly. I think that it's just a classier place, you should come correct when you engage in friendly banter... which is honestly kind of good thing, if that's your vibe (it's mine). Definitely another great option in addition to INNDulge. Real-talk, I'll likely be checking both places, in the future, choosing which one is available. No wrong answers between the two, and happy to have multiple options available for each future trip.

Yelp
Stayed here with 16 of our friends for my husbands 40th birthday this past week for 4 nights. STAY HERE, it's amazing! Beautiful rooms, ALL the staff is beyond friendly. Pool grounds are perfect, you get breakfast and DELICIOUS lunch everyday. We all agreed that our expectations were blown away and will all be returning here. Many other hotel guest said its difficult to get room here so book early. Enjoy and thank your Kent, Robert the rest of the crew, we appreciate how special you made the week.

Michael A.

Yelp
I stayed at resort for a few days at the beginning and end of a multi-week road trip though California. I was impressed from the start. A lot of the hotels have outdated photos and do not represent what they currently look like but this is not the case here. The resort is just as beautiful, if not more. The staff and fellow guests were all friendly and welcoming. There is such a calm, peaceful environment to relax away from the world. I would stay here again and have already recommended this resort to friends!

Yelp
I've tried to get a room at Santiago a few times, but it seems like they're always booked and it's difficult to find an available room (granted, I always try during busy weekends like pride). However, I finally had my chance during a sweltering summer weekend. Ultimately, I had a great time: staff are very accommodating, offering guests refreshments throughout the day, and I love the convenient "cantina" area with supplies and drinks. Even in the extreme 115-plus-degree heat, rooms are well air-conditioned and very spacious. The grounds are extraordinarily well-kept and lush with greenery, and misters break up the heat nicely around the pool area. Speaking of: the pool area is lovely, with ample lounges, and enough umbrellas for shade on hot days. Additionally, there is a nice outdoor shower and fire pit for late nights. If they're not booked solid, definitely try to stay at Santiago the next time you're in Palm Springs!

Yelp
This is a lovely resort with nice amenities and comfortable location. The breakfast is good and the lunches are acceptable. The snacks are available 24 hours a day and it's significantly cleaner than it was years ago! We enjoy it very much!

Yelp
Perfect vacation spot! Just home from two nights at this spectacular oasis. Amazing service, super clean rooms, comfy beds, and the perfect environment to just completely chill, which is what we did. The pool is heated and there is plenty of comfy patio furntiure to stretch out and enjoy the sun while sipping on a drink or reading a book. Never too much noise and all of the guests are completely respectful. The place wa packed but you wouldn't know it by how quiet it was. Breakfast and lunch included. If you're vegan like we are, the lunch options aren't all that, but no big deal (Chef Tanyas available via GrubHub). I loved just relaxing poolside, and the amazing coffee machine in the cantina, open 24 hours! Highly recommend.

Yelp
Simply amazing. From the moment we walked in, we felt relaxed. The property is maintained to a tee and everything has been taken into account. While we laid around reading and enjoying the pool, a staff member was walking around handing out outshine popsicles, which was a nice touch. Don't miss the outdoor shower! The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The day before our arrival we paid for a day pass at another "resort" and there is simply no comparison. You can't go wrong with a stay here.

Yelp
We love the Santiago Resort and have gone every year for the Xmas Holiday for the last ten of the fourteen years we have been together. It's not just that it's an attractive and comfortable place to stay that is close to everything in Palm Springs, it's that they take such very good care of you. This last week, we had trouble with a heat lamp and the staff worked on it for three straight days until it was resolved - they really want you to enjoy your stay. It is a dedicated, determined staff. Charles, the manager, follows a great tradition of conscientious managers who work hard, never let you see them sweat, but they sweat to give the guests everything they want. The entire staff is guest-driven, and you do, indeed, feel like a guest. A catered Breakfast and restaurant lunch (that you order off their menu) are served daily, a canteen is open twenty-four seven for beverage, complete with a Starbucks machine (the fourth, I think, since I've started going which offers all kinds of coffee drinks) and various snacks -- not good for the diet, perhaps, but very good for the spirit - the pool is attended daily, the grounds are constantly cleaned. It is a smallish resort (around 22 rooms) which I like very much. There's an outdoor firepit, a spa, an outdoor shower and lot's of lounges to lie on and bake, even in the winter. Yes, there's lots going on if that's what you're going for, but it's a comfortable lovely place which we will be going to for many Xmases to come. They have the key to my heart which is a good thing, since I lost the key to my room TWICE during my morning walk.

Yelp
This place is amazing! Beautiful grounds. Great staff! Very nice rooms! Going for my second visit very soon. I booked a week here because I loved everything about this resort! The manager Kent is wonderful! Can't say enough about the whole experience I had here. From the staff to the other guests; it was a friendly atmosphere and very relaxing. A 5 out of 5!

Yelp
If only there was an option for more STARS .... First off, this place is TRULY AMAZING. An oasis in the desert that you wouldn't expect...... Once in a while you just need to break free and get away for a little R&R. In my case, it was my birthday. Just like anyplace, precautions had to be taken in consideration as we all know it's about Covid. From the moment when we walked in. We were greeted by Bill (apologies if names are mentioned incorrectly). Just the vibe that he protrude was just amazing. The sweetest greeting upon check in. Even though it was our first time at the property, the welcoming just makes you feel Like your old friends. Greeted us with the warmest welcoming. Check in was easy. He gave us a quick layout of everything and also wished me a happy birthday which was very sweet. And even played a little Birthday song in my honor. I mean, what a sweetheart. The property alone is beautiful. Well maintained grounds that's beautifully landscaped. High shrubs that surrounds the property for a private feel. The main focal point of the resort is the pool as all the rooms are just off of it. There's a jacuzzi just off the pool, plenty of soft cushion lounges. Each are spaced perfectly for social distancing. Also, loved that each beds had tables and umbrellas as some places are lacking them. There's also a fire pit, bikes that are available for use, two hammock swing, a designated smoking area, an outdoor shower and nice and quaint courtyard with tables for dining or lounging. Your asked to Keep your mask worn when walking around the property and around communal area. They also offer complimentary breakfast in the morning and lunch. Such an amazing experience to start off. We were booked for the king suite poolside room which was literally in-front of the pool. Room alone was very spacious, king sized bed with a separate seating area. Very modern feel, clean and simple. All your amenities are also provided as well as a fridge. Spa robes were provided as well. The whole experience of our stay was amazing to say the least. Everyone was out of this world amazing and friendly. Bob who took care of everyone in the morning for breakfast, the sweetest ever. On our last day, we finally met Kent. Just hearing from everyone, we knew he was going to be a doll. And truly he was and then some. Just like all the staff there. Every single one of them made you feel like you've known each other for years. Chatting with everyone, having a seat just to say hi and see how you were doing. The pure simple act of kindness goes a very long way. Customer service is top notch here. Even all the guest are amazing. It wasn't so crowded which was nice but even then, you felt welcome. I can't say enough of my stay here. I absolutely loved it and had an amazing birthday stay here. The service was impeccable. Everyone was truly amazing. Bill, Bob and Kent and everyone there are angels. Looking forward to another stay soon. Highly recommend this place. Absolutely was satisfied with everything.

Yelp
I have been coming here to Santiago for the last three years and spend the entire month of January for my vacation. It is always a constant, soothing, relaxing vacation when I come here. The staff is hands-down, the best I've ever been with starting with Bob in the morning at the Cantina, who greet you with a wonderful smile to Jesse, who keeps the rooms, spotlessly clean, boomer with that wonderful smile and can't wait to make sure that you've gotten anything that you need and of course lastly, Charles, the manager who keeps everything running so smoothly, and makes sure that your vacation time is the best it can be can't wait to come back next January. Thanks guys.

Yelp
Great relaxing place to be! KENT is the best! Goes above and beyond to take care of guests. I highly recommended staying here.

Yelp
The resort was incredible! My husband has been coming here for years and I initially didn't get the hype. I get it now. The grounds are peaceful, the pool was divine, the room was lovely and the bed was SOO comfy. We will certainly be back!!

Justin S.

Yelp
Santiago is one of my favorite places to stay in Palm Springs! Beautiful grounds, quality amenities, and some of the most professional and kind team members in the desert! The location also makes it ideal as you're only minutes away from the heart of downtown and the Arenas district. The only bad part of any trip to Santiago is when you have to check out.

Yelp
After being super disappointed by other similar resorts (ie, All Worlds), what a refreshing and delightful time we had here at Santiago... where the staff actually goes out of their way to make sure you're having a great time. Poolside, the guys would come up at all hours of the day asking if we need anything. (Good luck trying to even find ANY on-grounds staff at All Worlds!). As a couple with an EV, one of the things we REALLY appreciated was the FREE electric vehicle chargers (there are THREE of them!). What other resort in the area gives you a breakfast AND a lunch included in the stay? We can't wait to check out Twin Palms and Descanso. Thanks guys for a relaxing and enjoyable stay... even at 120+degrees!

Yelp
Thank you so much to Charles, Boomer, Kint, Greg and the whole team at the resort! Santiago is one of my favorite places to come to either at the beginning or the end of my trips down to the Desert from San Francisco. The Resort especially seems to come to life in the spring where you can meet new friends from all over the country as was internationally. Thanks again all, I'm looking forward to my next stay at this lovely oasis. - Jeremy

Yelp
A true oasis and a resort that stands above the rest. They truly had everything we needed, kept the place sparkling clean, had attentive friendly staff, and made it very easy to totally let go and relax. The breakfast and lunch provided were delicious, the location was convenient (and they had bikes available if the 1.5 mile walk to the main strip isn't your thing), and we enjoyed hanging with all the different guys staying there, be it sitting around the pool, in the hot tub, or around the fire pit. Perfect for a solo traveler or a couple.

Jim M.

Yelp
BOOK NOW! LOOK NO FURTHER! I just returned from an absolute AWESOME week relaxing at the Santiago Resort. Charles the manager was so friendly and accommodating. He made a point to mingle with the guests and get to know each person. Any request was immediately taken care of. The handsome housekeeping stafff kept our room clean, tidy and fully of clean towels and robes all week. The grounds are immaculate (and I am a critical traveler). There were plenty of padded sun loungers and umbrellas by the pool. The pool was heated to 92 degrees and the hot tub was 102 degrees. Open 24/7 with late night quiet hours. If you are looking for a cruising or hookup resort, this is not that, while it does happen some, its not the norm. Lots of couples, all ages. I made a lot of friends and I did managed to make a few good connections during my stay ;).

Yelp
Booked Santiago because it was men only and no one under 18. We never use the pool at your typical resort or hotel since they are usually over run by kids. Being clothing optional makes it even better, at least to me husband not so much. We had a late check in because Delta lost all our luggage. After getting our rental car we drove to the resort. I did read one of my text from Santiago with the lock box code but I didn't fully read the email instructions. So, like many others we tried the code in the only key pad we saw on the door. That would be the wrong key pad. To the right of the doors around the corner by the gate is the correct key pad. The lock box popped open and we got the envelope with our room keys / gate key. Our room was lower level right by the pool 106. Room was a good size king with a king bed , siting area , desk and TV. Just around from the main room was counter space with storage, mini fridge and a closet. Next to that was the bathroom with a nice sized shower. I had reservations for dinner so we put stuff away had a 30min nap and left for dinner. Since we had a mini fridge we stopped at a Ralph's ( didn't know they were part of Kroger. ) and got bottled water some fruit and some flowers. After getting back to the resort we went for our first swim. Since we had no luggage it was good it was clothing optional because we had no option. The pool temp was wonderful especially after traveling all day from Indiana. We used the hot tub. It wasn't really very hot but it was bubbly. We showered and got ready for bed. Bed we pretty comfortable and the sheets were soft. I got up in the middle of the night to swim again and used the outside shower. I kinda want an outside shower now. But being in Indiana very impractical. The breakfast offerings weren't to our taste so we went out for breakfast and lunch. Property was kept clean by staff with little to no help from guest. I guess I'm a bit of a neat freak. I put way my pool noodle and mat after using them and never left trash or a glass for somone else to pick up. I even put away other peoples noodles when they were cluttering up the pool. My husband told me to stop. Every night I went out for a swim on my own. It was so quite and peaceful and pretty much bug free ( no mosquitoes ). Never had much interaction with any staff, only it check in and check out. Only complaint would be from my husband. We needed to ask for clean towels and for trash to be removed from our room. To me it was no big deal. If we ever go back to Palm Springs again. Santiago will be where we stay.

Yelp
The Santiago is everything and more. It's giving relaxation to the max. The resort is impeccably well maintained, our suite was perfection, and everyone there couldn't be any nicer. Truly can't wait to return!

Yelp
What can be said about Santiago? This was my first stay and will definitely not be my last! The owners and staff clearly know that the extra touches such as lunch service and complimentary sodas/water make you feel like you're TRULY on vacation in paradise. Unlike other places that nickel and dime you in a hundred ways. Santiago guests were all friendly, welcoming and a fun crowd! Not having to really leave for anything (by far the best part!) gives everyone the opportunity to just hang out and laugh around the pool all day! The only things I think could be improved at the Santiago are the rooms themselves (more USB ports) and our bathroom wasn't the best (small but ok). Bathrooms in other rooms had been clearly renovated nicely. A king suite would be ideal - maybe a two BR. Also, it would be nice to have additional shade cover or fans that kept the breeze going. On a final note.. what made this experience so special and memorable is the Staff. They are so friendly, respectful and genuinely want everyone to have the best time. They have what it takes to succeed in the hospitality field!

Yelp
I am a hard person to please, and in an age where customer service is a foreign concept, my stay at the Santiago was such an exemplary experience I now frequently check the pictures in my phone to make sure I didn't imagine the entire experience. From the check-in to check-out, the staff at The Santiago effortless presented a Masterclass on service, attention to detail and creating a relaxing experience. I had a Poolside King suite which was wonderful because it was steps from the pool. The room was spacious and clean. The cleaning staff was superb. I never had to request my room to cleaned or complain about the cleanliness of my room. The complimentary lunch was a great. If you placed your order by 11 am, lunch would be delivered. There were a variety of choices. During my stay (last week) temps rose above 100 and the staff came with popsicles. This is what top notch service is. In general, the resort is located only a short distance from the aiport ($15 Uber) and a short distance from Downtown Palm Springs ($10 Uber). I am gym rat so I worked out at World Gym most of stay and it was easy to get ride. If a you worried about traveling alone, don't sweat it. Yes, the resort is very "couple-ly" with many of them from Los Angeles and but if you are friendly extrovert you should be fine. If you are more an intovert then this is place for you because the guests are polite but not intrusive, so you can keep to yourself without fear being judged or forced social interactions. I cannot overstate how fantastic my stay at the Santiago was. This is now my new place to stay in Palm Springs. My only word of caution, is book EARLY I book my trip in July SIX MONTHS in advance. The word is out, so don't miss out.

Yelp
A sign of any great business, is its ability to attract return customers. And the Santiago Resort is at the top of its game. Almost every other guest encountered was a (multiple) return customer--of all age brackets, backgrounds, and walks of life. Not many clothing-optional resorts can say that. And the select few newbies that were there definitely pledged their intention to return. Another indication that a business will continue to thrive is its commitment to customer service, which, in today's current climate can often be a scarce commodity. When we checked into the resort, we received the warmest welcome. The front staff flashed us that genuine smile. The kind you get from a friend you haven't seen in years or a mother being reunited with a child. The amenities and services were explained in detail, making sure to review the resort's commitment to COVID safety. We received a text message and were promoted to text the resort should any need arise, including our lunch orders. Three words to this approach: convenient, innovative, genius. And our greeter ended with, "if you need anything, please let me know." To which I said, "anything?" With a flirtatious smile. "Yes. Anything," he replied with a smirk. The resort oozed boutique luxury. There were plenty of outdoor lounge areas, socially distanced, and sanitation stations at all common areas. The heated pool and jacuzzi was the perfect place to take a quick dip and lay out under the desert sky. The hot naked men everywhere gave us plenty of excuses to go swimming. The palm trees and mountain backdrop also made for the perfect view, which was even better at night amidst all the stars. Our room offered one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. And the room felt more like a master bedroom in a luxury home, rather than a hotel room. Any time you feel so at home, so comfortable you never want to leave....that's a pretty great indication you'll want to come back!

Yelp
Very impressed with our stay at The Santiago. We came to Palm Springs for a week of relaxation & this place didn't disappoint. We pretty much stayed at the resort the entire week-- canceling all other plans we had made except for dinner reservations. (Their complimentary breakfast & lunch was a huge perk, as was their 24-hour cantina of soft drinks & mixers & such.) We met a lot of nice people and we're already taking about making a return trip next year-- we found out that a lot of people actually book their return trip as they're checking in/out!

Yelp
It was our first time to a private men's resort and Santiago definitely set the bar for us. The pool/spa area, outdoor shower, fire pit, and bicycles are such great amenities. The size of the pool and layout of the property is really nice. Loved that the pool/spa area was open 24/7. We had a really great weekend there and hope to be back soon. The service from the staff was top tier and they were so accommodating. The continental breakfast/lunch and 24 hour cantina are a nice touch. We will be back for sure! Thanks for a great time!

Yelp
The management, Charles and Maxwell in particular, were wonderful, helpful, and kind. The room was beautiful, a suite with a bathroom having both a separate tub and a gigantic shower. The poolside happy hour was fun because people loosen up (even more) and are very friendly. It's an oasis within Palm Springs.

Yelp
just returned from a long weekend in Palm Springs. it was my first time there, and I chose to stay at Santiago based on reviews I had read. my expectations were far exceeded. Charles and his staff are attentive to all of the guests' needs. The property was beautiful, and my room was spacious and modern. Though it was my first visit to Palm Springs, I didn't want to leave the resort to go exploring. I've already started planning a return trip in the fall to Santiago. Thanks to all the Santiago staff!

Yelp
One thing is very obvious, the team at Santiago know what they're doing. The attention to detail across the property is quite amazing. The rooms are immaculate, the grounds are well maintained. The pool is the perfect temperature. Breakfast and lunch were included each day, which is helpful if you want to hang out at the pool all day (and you will want to do that.) We stayed in the Casita, and it was like being in our own little world. Can't recommend this resort enough.

Yelp
Loved my first-time stay at Santiago. It's the perfect combo of nice and friendly staff, clean and tastefully designer grounds and rooms, and all around great atmosphere. Give Santiago a try. You'll love it. I'll be there again very soon. It's now my favorite PS hotel.

Yelp
It is simply a great place to stay. Comfortable, great service, and very relaxing. I highly recommend it to unwind or to reset yourself. I've visited twice and they will see me again. The rooms are clean and have lots of space.

Yelp
Beautiful resort! Beautiful pool! Wonderful staff! Clean, tasteful, comfortable rooms! Everything about Santiago was wonderful! I could not emphasize enough how much I loved staying there. Checking in was easy, and Boomer showed me around to give me all the information that I needed to know in order to enjoy my stay. The pool was always a wonderful temperature. The hot tub was very relaxing. They have a fire pit that is perfect for having a nice and relaxing experience. They have bikes that can be used to explore the city, and an outdoor shower. All of the staff are very attentive. Without being too intrusive, they check in on you to make sure that you have everything that you need. There is a 24 hour Cantina that is always stocked and available to supply you with whatever you need. Honestly, I cannot say enough wonderful things about Santiago resort. This will be my go to stay when I visit Palm Springs again.

Yelp
First time staying at Santiago and definitely will be back. A quick socially distanced getaway that did not disappoint. Let's get that out of the way. All protocols were followed by staff and guests alike. Now the good part....BEAUTIFUL grounds. well manicured and inviting. A light breakfast offering and an amazing (ordered in)(and included with your stay) lunch every day. Comfy beds and clean rooms. The staff went out of their way to ensure a great visit. AGM Bill was knowledgeable and super helpful. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Very lovely place, even when the hurricane came to town. I enjoyed my time greatly and even enjoyed the unplanned extra night because of the weather! The guys at the hotel were very helpful accommodating the travel plans!

Yelp
My partner and I wanted a fun and fabulous gay getaway to Palm Springs. And we did because of Santiago Resort! The staff was very welcoming. Bill checked us in and gave us a rundown of the resorts amenities and walked us to our room. The small and cozy vibe of the resort was a highlight. Great staff, very friendly and hospitable. we enjoyed the continental breakfasts each morning served in the lovely sunny courtyard. And a few times we had their delivered lunch service. The daytime self-serve cantina is all stocked with a nice selection of sodas, seltzer, tea, coffee, snacks. It's a BYOB resort however so plan to grab your favorite libations. All a great value. The grounds were very clean and well maintained as well as the rooms. The pool and jacuzzi were warm and sparkling as well as lots of comfy loungers and fresh towels. The beautiful teak Outdoor shower was lovely and clean. Our room was one with the recently updated bathrooms, beautifully done with lots of thoughtful touches. Our King poolside suite was spacious and cozy just steps from the pool areas. We'll definitely be back to this dessert oasis!
