Colorado Road Trip: 4 Days of Hiking and Hot Springs | Condé Nast Traveler

"If your stomach is growling, carb-load with a breakfast burrito from Santiago's Mexican Restaurant (with five Denver locations, it shouldn't require much of a detour). Do as the locals’ do and order yours “half and half” (half mild green chile, half hot green chile)."

Santiago's is a must have for their breakfast burrito. I have never been disappointed at any of their locations. There is typically a line, and the food is cooked fresh so it takes just a little bit of patience for you to receive it. When your food is handed to you, it is hot and the contents of the box are heavy. When you open the container you can see the ingredients are fresh and of good quality. Seriously, I have never had any complaints when I have made the decision to frequent this establishment. Everything I have tasted has been fairly priced and delicious!

The worst Santiago's location I've been to. The workers are rude and inviting. The burritos were sloppy, the chili was not hot n I like my shit extra hot. You could just tell they were there because they need a job to bring in income, no like for their job at all. There is way better locations like the one on Hampden near Holly or the one in Commerce City, shit even Brighton and Thornton have more flavor than this one.

Tired of bringing home NOT “mild” burritos for my kid - Outstanding burritos and a local tradition I’ve come to love. BUT, don’t trust the “mild”, “hot”, and “1/2 and 1/2”. The food is always good, but this store is consistently inconsistent with seasoning and spiciness. I don’t mind the flavor myself, but as a dad this makes it very difficult to order for my toddler. (Don’t worry, she’ll learn about good peppers but it needs to be on my terms rather than this store’s.)

I love Santiagos prob. The one on Federal was awful. The photos showed a nice restaurant with booths. Not this one it's mainly to go with no real seating. This may be my fault but the quality wasn't there. Maybe good for drive thru burritos but the rellenos weren't good the hot chili was barely above mild and the enchiladas were edible but taco bell would have been a better choice. Very disappointing. I will be more careful next time as to which one we go to. Parking was almost non existing. I should've left when I walked in the door. My bad.

I visit a lot of Santiagos in my average day driving uber, so i believe I’m talking about the restaurant at 825 S Federal. Breakfast burritos were great as usual, but their dining area is a tiny “vestibule” kind of space with like three tables. Don’t think they have a restroom… not sure though. Nice staff. Quick and polite.

This location is convenient because it's closer to me. The food has always been great. But the customer service does go up and down here at this location. On top of that just to get some good chili cheese fries at 8:00 a.m. they claim they don't start the fryer? WTH 😒 YOUR RESTAURANT YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE READY TO SERVE YOUR CUSTOMERS WHAT'S ON YOUR MENU????!!!! Idk this Santiago's is something else 🤨 But to get GREAT, FANTASTIC, AMAZING,food and great service I suggest sticking to the Santiago's by Sheridan and Alameda 👍BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE 👍& the food SPOT ON DELICIOUS 😋

Delicious breakfast burritos. Drive thru or walk up only at this location. Don't know why they wrap the burritos so poorly. They make a mess when you unwrap. The foil is stuck inside the burrito 🌯 😕

They add little to no chili anymore. They say they add a scoop but must be a regular spoon. You lost a customer today . I have been going to you for the last 20 years.
