Me and my friend went this restaurant to celebrate our birthday. Our evening started well with 2 delicious entrees, but unfortunately, the experience took a disappointing turn when it came to the mains. After a 20mins wait, The waiter delivered our food to our next table. Our pasta was cold, we had just a bite and cancelled pasta. Our medium rare stake was served blue, which was very far from the quality we expected. All the servers were busy, we didn’t have a chance to address the issue promptly. We considered ordering dessert. However, despite receiving the menu, no one came to take our order. While we understand the venue was busy, it seemed that focus more on resetting tables than checking in with diners. Unfortunately, this lack of attention left us feeling overlooked and disappointed.

What a delightful restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The service for a start was amazing. They are very friendly and with class! Smiling, polite, cheerful, and very knowledgeable about the drinks and food being served. The food was such divine! The grilled octopus, THE BEST I have tasted. I've been to so many expensive and cheap restaurants but I can say this is the best. Loved it. Their squid ink risotto were tasty and so original. We had an awesome feast, and we hope to come back soon. I highly recommend Santini Bar and Grill.

Went here for a nice dinner and was definitely not disappointed, the service was exceptional and the waiter that was serving our table had great knowledge of the large wine list they had and recommended us an amazing Riesling to go with our food choices. The oysters tasted very fresh and the vinaigrette paired perfectly. Both of the pasta dishes were cooked the perfection and flavours were amazing. Also got the table side served tiramisu, which was amazing considering most restaurants don’t know how to make it properly. Definitely recommend for a nice dinner date.

My partner and I stayed at QT and decided to have dinner at Santini Grill. We had a great first impression, starting with the friendly hostess who wished me a happy birthday and our lovely waiter—a French gentleman, though I forgot his name. He introduced himself and offered to help us with the menu. We eventually ordered our food (entrée and mains), and overall, the food was good. The burrata was a bit plain, the crab linguine a little salty, but the snapper was fantastic. However, our initial 5-star impression began to decline after our order was taken. Our waiter disappeared and never returned to check on us. He was replaced by a lady (I believe she’s Argentinian), but her service was not as attentive. She only took our empty plates, asked if we were ready for the mains, and later cleared our dirty plates. She didn’t check on us at all during the meal. What made it more disappointing was noticing the difference in service. She served the table next to us exceptionally well—constantly checking on them, asking how the food was, refilling their water (while mine was almost empty, and she saw it), and explaining the wine selections. Unfortunately, we did not receive the same level of attention. We also wanted to order dessert but waited for a while, and no one came to our table. Eventually, I decided to pay the bill. When I asked what time the restaurant closed, I learned that the last order was at 9:30 PM. It was very disappointing that none of the waiters informed us about the last order. I would personally rate the experience 4 stars, while my partner rated it 3 stars.

I love their Crab Linguine - perfectly cooked pasta paired with fresh, tender crabmeat and a delicate sauce that elevates every bite. While their tiramisu is creamy and indulgent, it was a bit too sweet for my personal taste. As a QT Perth hotel guest, I was delighted to receive a complimentary tipple, which added an extra touch of hospitality to an already enjoyable experience. Overall, Santini Bar delivers great food, attentive service, and a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended!

For the starter, we ordered Wood grilled octopus, the octopus itself tasted fine, but I didn’t find it necessary to put that many herbs on it, especially the flavor of the dill was too strong , and visually kinda..strange. For the main course, we had the QT Rib Eye medium rare, it was perfectly cooked without a doubt, however maybe because it’s grass fed, so it didn’t taste very juicy, but I should’ve known that. Also we had the Squid ink risotto, it surprisingly exceeded my expectation, I loved that it had a hint of acidity in this dish, which really brightened it up. Another hero was the fish roe, giving it some extra texture, that made sure it wouldn’t taste boring. For the dessert, we ordered the very popular Tiramisu, and it did not disappoint, the texture of the mascarpone cheese was very airy and delicious.

Modern and elegant, this upscale Italian restaurant has made it to my list as recommended by my other half. I was there twice on my last visit to Perth to celebrate Christmas and New Year. It is nested on the 1st floor of the QT Hotel and located on same street as Myer and David Jones on Murray Street in the city. On my first visit, I found it a little dark and noisy inside but I love the vibe and atmosphere. The restaurant was busy hence I was greeted with a foul mood. No excuse! Great selection of Italian food. They sure make delicious pasta. Scallops were delightful. Lamb chops were chewy though. We decided to give Santini another try. So we went there for the NEW YEAR’S EVE dinner. It was 7 course Italian cuisine. The restaurant was a lot brighter and looked so elegant. The atmosphere in there was lovely. We enjoyed all the food in the 7 course menu except for the sour prawn risotto. Way too lemony. We heard the same comments from other tables. Anyway, this will not stop us from coming back to try for more in their everyday menu. There is a bar on the other side of the restaurant but we didn’t get the chance to explore. Service was timely. Staffs on our 2nd visit were all friendly and attentive. Their restroom is fancy. It was neat and clean.

Great place to have dinner. It is perfect for dates and any other sort of celebrations. It can be quite noisy at some point. The staff is really good. Very kind and friendly. We ordered the set menu, and to be honest, we all ended up with a food coma. The food was delicious. My favourite dishes were the QT Rib Eye and the Tiramisu.

Nice restaurant in probably the hippest hotel in Perth. Incredibly crowded for a Monday night. We shared the Capri salad and tuna tartare. Tuna was nothing special but the salad was very interesting, a little sour (in a good way) and beautifully presented. For a main, shared the steak for two and it was excellent (and more than enough food). Cooked perfectly medium rare. Ended with a cheese plate (not on the menu). It was also very nice. A very good meal in a restaurant with a great vibe.

We went to Santini a few years ago with friends and were impressed by the food but disappointed in the service. We decided to give it another try for our anniversary this year and it was fantastic. We had the scallops for entree which were delicious, I could have eaten them as a main, only drawback was they were a bit pricey. For main my husband had the rib eye and I had the Kalbarri snapper which we both enjoyed a lot. Will definitely be returning.

I decided to check out this restaurant as I've heard the useful review. I decore of the restaurant is modern and beautiful. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The waitress took our coat and backpacks and kept it in the cloakroom. We noticed how small and close the seats and table were. We got chatting to the table next to us to discuss what we were going to order. The waiter gave us the menu, and it was big. Took a while for us to decide what we wanted. We've decided to have entree we had the zucchini flower and the gold band snapper cappaccio. My personal favourite is the zucchini flower. My least favourite is the gold band snapper cappaccio as the fish is a bit too thick and also it is way too fishy smell for my liking. As for mains, we got the rib eye and the New York sirloin on the bone, the two steaks we ordered, we love the New York sirloin on the bone, the steak is more, and the depth of the flavour is to my liking. We got the dessert, Tre cannolis three flavours. It was a bit of a disappointment to me, as the pastry is a bit soggy and the filling in the cannolis were a bit too rich for my liking. I will return to try their items on the menu, as I missed out the truffle mac and cheese.

Came here on a whim for a quiet a Sunday dinner. The restaurant is in the hotel, so there is a level of fine dining expected and it is delivered. To start with I had the lamb chop that had been marinated for 48 hours in garlic. The garlic note wasn't as strong as I was expecting given that description however it was cooked perfectly medium rare and was just so juicy. For mains we shared the 800g T-Bone medium rare and garlic roast potatoes. Both cooked to perfection and the sea salt rub on the T-Bone was perfect. For dessert I had the Tiramisu. It was "family style" and dishes out into a plate at the table. It was real Tiramisu. You can just imaging an 80 yr old Italian lady out the back making it. It's worth the $16!

Overall a very good dining experience. Our table for four was positioned a good distance from other diners so that we did not feel hemmed in or isolated. Service was prompt and efficient. Menus and wine lists were provided quickly to allow perusal while pre dinner drinks were served. Without going into long details, all entrees and mains were as described on the menu and generally well presented. The only slight negative comment is that the rigatoni pasta was a little too "al dente" even for an Italian like my friend Joe. The wine list is interesting but generally overpriced (although this seems to be the norm in restaurants these days). The waitress was charming and attentive without being intrusive. I would recommend this restaurant for a special occasion or a way to impress businesses acquaintances.

The truffle mustard is my new favourite condiment in the world. The sides were exceptional, the seasonal pea side is amazingly fresh and vibrant, the hand cut chips are crunchy and the slightly seasoned salt adds a nice depth, not to mention the roasted potato with garlic. The only thing that wasn't up to the same standard was the temperature of the steaks; the medium rare came out rare, edging almost to blue and the medium well came out perfectly medium rare. But the positive and the thing that made it not a big loss was the beef quality was impeccable. It came out tender as anything. If this is their quality while they are still ironing out the opening month hiccups they are set to be a hero in the Perth food scene once they are all settled and sorted.
