Cleanest showers and toilets I ever had on a camping. Nice pool, nice barman, grumpy but somehow loveable owner. Good atmosphere. 12.5€/person (for tent). Only the electricity/phone charging situation could be better. I liked it.

Pros: convenient location. Cheaper than alternative accommodation options in summer. Nice pool. Shady places to pitch your tent. Nice staff. Cons: €50 cash deposit required. Our campsite smelled badly like sewage day and night. Bathrooms and kitchen were filthy. The on-site bar blasted party music every night (late, well well past midnight) making it very hard to sleep. No hot water for showers most of the time. Too small peacock enclosure. Lots of toilets had no seats?

Avoid this place. This should be shut down. There is a risk of disease and infections. Bed bugs, dirty toilets and showers, kids sleeping wherever they can on the ground, staff don’t eat the food at the location (!!! I wonder why?!?), no mosquito nets, inhumane to stay in the tent day time as there is a metal structure that overheats as aeon as the sun shines. If you require a more adequate space they show you a horrible room charging you double than what already paid through booking.com.

Room is extremely hot during the day, but at night it’s fine. It is tiny but was clean and no issues. One of the men at the front desk most likely a manager or something is terrible. I borrowed a pen and he got upset twice that I hadn’t returned it yet (I used it for like 30 minutes… it’s a pen). Then when checking out said we couldn’t stay at the pool at all during the day cuz we have already checked out. The woman that works the restaurant made up for it, she is lovely. Location is decent. Near Fira 15 mins walk but entirely uphill. Tiring.

TLDR: You get what you pay for, fine for a short stay but not recommended for longer stays or people used to “nice” accommodations. Bring ear plugs and shower shoes. Pros: good location close to town, free parking, good pool area, reception staff polite Cons: played loud music until 4am every night we were there, making it impossible to sleep and waking us up every night, all throughout the night. Beds/rooms quite spartan. Showers and toilets often quite dirty, but not exceptionally so considering what you’re paying and that people camp there. You cannot flush toilet paper, and often the bins (which don’t have lids) were overflowing with used toilet paper and sanitary products. We informed reception staff that our two window latches were broken, and they just said it’s normal and no one will go in our room. The lock on the door stuck often, so sometimes we were there for 5 minutes trying to lock our door. Lots of bugs and insects, didn’t bother us too much as we’re used to it but I can imagine someone not used to it being quite shocked. Tent rooms become very very hot as soon as the suns up, they do provide a large fan which helps as long as the doors are open; cools down at night.

If you’re looking into booking this, look the other way and book something different for your own sake. Absolutely vile. We paid more to stay in one of the bungalows which smell like dirt and melting plastic. The worst is how much it heats up both during day and night making it almost impossible to stay inside. There are A LOT of people EVERYWHERE sleeping on the floor, just randomly without even having tents. It seriously looks worrying. The bathrooms are a horror show, with hairs everywhere, smells, used tampons, spiders, overall really not cleaned at all. Bed sheets struggle to stay on the bed being the wrong size for it so you end up sleeping directly on the mattress. Stains on bedsheets. Let’s add on to that the fact that they own peacocks, kept right next to the bathrooms, in a tiny enclosure witch made me really sad to see animals treated this way. As to the staff, cold and dismissive. We tried to take a couple pictures of the pool at night and were very rudely whistled at by a man (who my best guess is a security guard), who told us to not sit because it was “late”. There were at least 4 people sitting there, but apparently we weren’t welcome. Overall, please save yourself from this and look for something different.

Abysmal conditions! The worst place I experienced in Santorini and the whole of Greece!! Laughable if you think you will have a good experience. Stayed for only one night , picked the bungalow to fins out it heats up all day and night. Smelled like burning plastic and soil. Staff are disgustingly treating people. Were welcomed to a 50 euro cash only deposit, which is not stated anywhere. Since we didn't have cash at that time, they HELD our passport even though the 'shack' was paid for in advance! Also if you want to support animal cruelty this place is for you - they had peacocks in a cage no bigger than 2m long. Filthy and disgusting. We were wanting to have a look at the pool and take a picture since the only good thing about this place to then get whistled and dismissed by a 'security guard', even though there were 4 people sitting by the pool. Turn the other way and save yourself time. Stop thinking about this and spend a little more on proper accommodation. You will get treated better at a refugee camp! Never ever again!
