I stayed in a tent, it was a tent haha. The showers and sinks leave something to be desired and the showers do have mold but as a whole great value for money. The pool and bar area is a wonderful place to chill. The tents are genuinely very livable and not too bad when it’s during the night - hot saunas in the day but if you’re just looking for a place to stay and sleep this is perfect. Great location and easy to walk into town. They also have parking if you want to rent an ATV or bike. Staff was helpful, and laundry service is available.

Honestly these bad reviews surprise us intensely. What you book is what you get, even better. The staff is amazing, the pool place feels like a 5 star hotel and the location is perfect. The only thing is that isn’t the best is our tent WHICH WE CHOSE AND PAID ACCORDINGLY FOR. For the people that leave these horrendous reviews, maybe you should find a place that cost more to meet your extreme luxurious expectations. For this low price, this place is even more than we hoped for. 5 stars no doubt!

My partner and I stayed at the campsite for one night in one of their tents. The tent initially seemed fine, but it was full of mosquitoes. During the night, we woke up with a start because my partner found a nasty animal on him. Luckily, it didn't bite him, otherwise it would have been very poisonous. We then noticed that the tent was raised off the ground, and during the night everything got in, even leaves. We then went to reception and asked if it was possible, given the very precarious condition of the tent, to have a room, but they denied us. We then couldn't sleep again for fear of dangerous animals. RUN AWAY BEFORE YOU RISK YOUR LIFE.

We just came for the one night stand > in our own sleeping bags. The toilets + shower should be better, but for 1-2 nights its okay

Shocked that theres people unsatisfied here. Absolutely stunning camping. My 5th time returning! Bartender sweet as always, staff hard working and accommodating. Food is 10/10! Beautiful place which hardly looks like the standard idea one has of a camping. It’s clean, economic and PERFECTLY situated 350 meters from THIRA! Highly recommend ❤️ will surely be returning!

Terrible Tent Experience – Not Worth It I rarely write bad reviews, but this experience was really disappointing. The tent we were given was in awful condition: full of rust, with a poorly covered entrance and holes everywhere. Mosquitoes could come in freely, and I ended up with bites and itchy spots all over my body. It honestly felt like we were sleeping outside with no protection. The only positive points were the pool, which was clean and enjoyable, and the staff who were friendly and helpful. But sadly, that doesn’t make up for the horrible state of the accommodation. Definitely not worth the money – we left feeling uncomfortable and frustrated.

If you’re looking into booking this, look the other way and book something different for your own sake. Absolutely vile. We paid more to stay in one of the bungalows which smell like dirt and melting plastic. The worst is how much it heats up both during day and night making it almost impossible to stay inside. There are A LOT of people EVERYWHERE sleeping on the floor, just randomly without even having tents. It seriously looks worrying. The bathrooms are a horror show, with hairs everywhere, smells, used tampons, spiders, overall really not cleaned at all. Bed sheets struggle to stay on the bed being the wrong size for it so you end up sleeping directly on the mattress. Stains on bedsheets. Let’s add on to that the fact that they own peacocks, kept right next to the bathrooms, in a tiny enclosure witch made me really sad to see animals treated this way. As to the staff, cold and dismissive. We tried to take a couple pictures of the pool at night and were very rudely whistled at by a man (who my best guess is a security guard), who told us to not sit because it was “late”. There were at least 4 people sitting there, but apparently we weren’t welcome. Overall, please save yourself from this and look for something different.

Pros: convenient location. Cheaper than alternative accommodation options in summer. Nice pool. Shady places to pitch your tent. Nice staff. Cons: €50 cash deposit required. Our campsite smelled badly like sewage day and night. Bathrooms and kitchen were filthy. The on-site bar blasted party music every night (late, well well past midnight) making it very hard to sleep. No hot water for showers most of the time. Too small peacock enclosure. Lots of toilets had no seats?
