Santorini Greek Restaurant

We’ve been coming to this restaurant for several years and absolutely love it. The staff is always smiling and genuinely friendly every time we visit. We even order the same dishes each time ; the moussaka and the lamb shank because they’re just that good. Honestly, it’s the best restaurant in town, even compared to the fancy spots in Buckhead and Atlanta. Nice, simple, and homey : exactly what we love.

Santorini Greek Restaurant has delicious food with a wonderful atmosphere and excellent service. The portions were phenomenal and the Mythos Beer hit the spot! Our favorites are their lamb chops, hummus, gyros and spanakopita. Just coming back from visiting Santorini, Greece we had the perfect homemade meal here that made us feel like we were back on vacation. The design and decor of the restaurant fit the exact aesthetic of Santorini. Well worth the 45 min drive from us! We will be back. Thank you to the staff, especially Athanasios.

I absolutely love Greek food, and this was one of the best I’ve ever had! The flavors were authentic, the ingredients were fresh, and everything was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was inviting, and the service was excellent. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I absolutely love this place; such a good experience everytime I am here. The baked chicken and the spanakopita are my favorites!

My family just moved here and we stopped in for lunch yesterday. The atmosphere was amazing. The restaurant was clean. The service was friendly and attentive. I did think the prices were slightly unreasonable but I’m choosing not to rate on that basis. (Over $80 for two adults and a small child for lunch is crazy guys. Gotta do better than that.) The real star here was the food! This was of the best Greek food outside of Greece that I have ever experienced. And I don’t know who made that Baklava, but I am extremely particular about Baklava - I am disappointed nearly every single time. Y’all, this was the best Baklava I have ever had in my life. I am already dreaming about my next chance to get it. I’ll unfortunately likely only be getting that unless the prices get better though. Thanks for having us yesterday!

My wife and I frequent this restaurant and we absolutely love it We’ve never had a bad meal or a bad experience. The owner and staff treat us very kindly. It’s hard to pick a favorite from the menu but the true Greek salad is one of my staple selections and it’s always great. If you enjoy a casual dining experience and Greek food, we would highly recommend Santorini.

A very warm and welcoming Greek restaurant! The restaurant is well-furnished with lots of indoor and outdoor seating, and the workers are so helpful and friendly. I came for lunch and ordered the gyro platter, which was huge. The gyro meat was flavorful and was delicious with the Greek potatoes, salad, and crispy pita bread. Make sure to take a visit for some amazing Greek cuisine!

Honestly the best Greek I have ever had. I go here frequently on date nights. To me the sides are outstanding. The veggies are unique and the lemon potato's are to die for. I could eat just a plate of those. I tend to get moussaka but honestly everything here is outstanding . Service is great and fast.

This was a very good early dinner before a concert at Mt. Pisgah Church across the street. Being around 4:30, it wasn't crowded & we were immediately greeted & seated by our friendly server. It's basically a storefront style restaurant so a big open space but in the usual nice Greek color scheme with photos from Greece & videos of the food & Greek scenery playing. Wife got the baked/roasted chicken & was very pleased, liking the sauce, Greek potatoes & interestingly seasoned peas & carrots. I got the traditional gyro with Greek potatoes. Wife said tzatziki sauce on mine was among best she's had. Potatoes good but as big planks, I wondered if I might've done better with fries. We just got water since tea & soft drinks are $3.80 as of Nov. 2025. Our items were reasonably priced for this day & age but fish specials were $30 & $45, depending, so be sure before you order. Friendly service, good food. That's a win.

Very authentic Greek food with good parking & friendly staff. My go to is a Greek salad with falafel balls. Their feta cheese is literally the best I've ever had! The servers are incredible sweet & very attentive. This place is always super clean as well! Definitely check them out!

We love our local Greek restaurant. The food is delicious and the service is so welcoming. We get take out regularly as well.

My wife and I were nearby and in the mood for Greek food. This place was 4.5 stars. The outside is beautiful as is the inside. We both ordered gyro sandwiches. The pita was toasted and added to the taste and experience. The server was very attentive and we mingled with other guests. The owner introduced himself. Very fun. I recommend.

Excellent food. Had a Greek salad with the best Greek dressing! I actually asked if I could buy a container of it. Husband had stuffed cabbage said it was like his Greek friend from Greece makes!!

What a fantastic surprise!! I really didn't expect too much, but was completely WOWED by the flavors and unfortunately, also the prices. A can of sprite was 2.80 The grilled Octapus 22.00 And the Gyro with fries 17.00 Now let me be clear... the grilled Octopus just may have been the best cooked octopus I have ever had. It was tender, not rubbery, and the sauce had a delightful zing to it that made every bite sing with flavor! It also was a good sized portion... I probably could have just had it for my lunch honestly. (See pic) I was sold on the establishment immediately after a single bite! My server was sweet... a very nice young lady who was attentive but didn't hover... she was the perfect server. The venue was clean, fresh, and cute in the tradition Greek colors and style. (Tip: get rid of the dead plants and go get some pony tail palms or something easy to maintain) Then out came my gyro... with fries. The fries were outstanding... crispy outside and soft inside with just a fine seasoning expertly applied. The crunch on the outside was a delight... I'm not sure how they do it but don't stop. Easily some of the best steak fries I have ever had! The gyro itself was a pretty good size... loaded with meat, thinly sliced onions, tomato's and Tzatziki all folded into a fluffy fresh pita. My first bite was a symphony of taste! Followed by the third and then the 6th and even the last bite... now THIS was a gyro! All you other posers out there trying to make gyros and selling them as authentic Greek food... take notice... come eat here and see how it is truly supposed to be done! My total with tip was right at 50.00 for just me... for lunch. While this is high for a lunch I did have the grilled octopus... and honestly I felt like I got $100 worth of out of this world flavors! I might not come here often, but with my first taste being this special... I saw a lot of other things on the menu that I want to try! In the immortal words of the Terminator, "I'll be back!"

I had a very good experience dining at Santorini. Nicoletta our server was so nice and professional! We went back a few days later mainly because of her! The food is good. The Greek potatoes are my favorite! Had gyro plate, octopus, eggplant dip, gyro wrap. All very good. Their dessert OMG I forgot what it's called but it's a custard in a pastry dough amazing!!! The ambience is also nice, I like the choice of colors. If I have to find one thing I would correct, maybe the prices are slightly high for the type of casual restaurant and the location. Everything is great.

We came here and sat on the patio on a Sunday. It was a beautiful day and we looked forward to a good authentic Greek meal since Santorini has such great reviews. The reviews are very accurate! Our server was fantastic and the food tasted very fresh. I ordered a Greek salad to start and the Falafel sandwich for my meal. Both were sooo good! I only wish the falafel sandwich had a bit more ingredients in it! One more falafel ball or some extra veggies would make it even more amazing and filling. We look forward to coming back to this green restaurant again soon!

First time visit, they were not very busy on a Tuesday around Noonish, only 4 tables. We were greeted quickly and seated. Our waiter was there quickly and was very friendly and filled my water each time it got to half full. We ordered the greek salad with chicken, and I ordered the gyro platter. The food arrived in a reasonable time. Fresh ingredients and tasty dishes. We enjoyed the food and service. We will return.

This was our first visit to the establishment. My First impression was that "this is another gyro place". Well, let me tell you IT IS SO MUCH MORE! While the menu looks like it offers the standard fare, the food was delicious. I was so impressed that each item we ordered came out quickly and was prepared perfectly. The table Service was prompt and courteous. The grill octopus was scrumptious. We asked for it a little charred and that's how I would recommend it. I do believe we have found another local favorite. Give it a try. They could have stepped up the decor because the food it at least two levels above it. Don't let the casual look of the establishment keep you from enjoying the great food.

I heard such great things about this restaurant but our party were not happy with the dishes that were served. We got the chefs special of chicken spaghetti and the pastotito. They both tasted like they were unflavored pasta that came right of the can and the sauces were very watered down. However the naan, the soup and childrens dish of chicken tenders with the honey mustard sauce was good. I gave the stars because the owner and the waiter were very nice and because he made some special sauce for my friends daughter for her chicken tenders. He also gave us a piece of free baklava cheesecake to make up for our food, but that also was a little too sweer for all of us. This is the first time in my 40 years that I have a left a restaurant without a container of food in my hand I'm sorry to say. I think we may have just ordered the wrong food, but I know we won't be coming here again.

Best authentic Greek in the area! Amazing service. The dining area will make you feel like you are in the Mediterranean and on all but the hottest or rainiest days their beautiful outside covered patio is a great place to enjoy your meal. My wife's grandma came to America from Greece and the food here is as close to grandmas cooking as anywhere we have eaten in the north Atlanta area! Everything on the menu is very good and don't forget to order dessert, all the baked goods come from a local Greek bakery fresh every morning

Food is excellent. Quality of material is the best. Taste is very good. Service is very good. Employees and employer, both are so nice, polite and kind. After a while I could find a place that remembers me , the Greek people who are my friends. The place is very clean, the employees are neat and friendly. So generous. $14 for a dry Gyro and very bland "Greek Potatoes" for lunch...no thanks!! I will say my server was nice and professional at least but I will not be back here anytime soon.

Absolute perfection! Chefs kiss to this authentic Greek treasure in John's Creek.If you have a Greek food itch that needs to be scratched,this place is it. Highly recommend getting the beef and lamb gyro, the lemon chicken soup that will fill your soul full of happiness,and the pastitsio. The Flaming cheese is also a show stopper. So happy we have something so authentic in the 'burbs. Absolutely fabulous and a regular for us!

This restaurant is a gem. The food is so delicious. It is always busy even on a Wednesday night. The service is great. I don't know how they have the most tasty French fries. I very rarely eat fries unless I eat a few fresh from Chick-fil-A to go bag. I always eat all my fries there. The Greek salad is extremely fresh tasting and the gyro meat is not greasy and very good. Don't sleep on this restaurant if you enjoy Greek food.

This place is legit!! Like having a Greek grandmother cook you all your favorites. Family owned, friendly, and very clean. Love this place!

I was welcomed into the restaurant as if I was going into someone's home. The staff was friendly and the owner/chef stopped at our table to check on us to make sure everything was good. The service was wonderful and the food took me back to my vacation in Greece. Truly authentic. The decor was beautiful, the only thing missing was the Mediterranean sea.

Greek Done Right! Although I love Greek food, it's not always easy to find great authentic Greek restaurants. This place was highly recommended by a colleague while I was visiting the Atlanta area. He almost demanded it lol. We already had reservations somewhere else but due to his enthusiasm about this place, we changed our plans to come here instead. No regrets!!! We made the right choice coming here for dinner. The atmosphere, music, staff and food was excellent. Better than I imagined. You must order the Saganaki (Flaming fried cheese)! SO GOOD!!! While they are putting the flame to it in front of you, yell OPA! I also ordered the Chicken Kabob as my meal w/Potatoes. Very tasty. Get the Baklava for desert! Best I've had. Yum!!! The staff was friendly and very attentive. Loved my experience here. A must try.

Great place for gyros! I ordered takeout and the service was prompt and cordial. I had the gyro beef and lamb sandwich and savored the marinade of flavors. I do recommend dicing the tomatoes, however, because they are way too big for a sandwich. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and reminds me of my travels to Mykonos and Santorini! The outdoor patio is also a great option on nice days.

I had the gyro wrap here and it was room temperature and did not taste like anything which was highly disappointing. Service was also extremely slow despite it being pretty empty for a Sunday. Pricier than other places as well as lacking the food quality.

Ordered a Greek salad with chicken. It was very small for the price with on piece of feta cheese on it. I've had much better salads. The chicken was not flavorful. Below average, high price.

Best gyro I've had in a long time. The fries were also fantastic. Our waiter was super kind and very helpful with questions. If you want good Greek food, this is the place to go.

Adorable Greek restaurant in John's Creek with authentic cuisine. The gyros and Greek salad were outstanding and so fresh. We'll definitely be back for dinner to try the chicken kabobs and other things on the menu. Definitely check this out when you're in the area. You'll be transported to the Mediterranean.

Good Greek food and great service, have been there a number of times and have not been dis appointed once. My 93 year old YiaYia loves it and the owner has come out to talk with her each time she comes. Try it out yourself!

The service was excellent along with the food. Large portions which were quit a value for the price. The lamb shank was the best along with the fresh fish of the day my date ordered. Very clean and nicely decorated. A must for Greek food.

Simply Delicious! I grew up in a northern suburb of Chicago and the gyro sandwich tasted like home. I was in Athens last fall and Santorini falafels taste the same. Truly authentic and delicious Greek food!

Great little find! I had the Gyro Plate, my son had the Gyro sandwich and my wife the chicken skewers. Food was delicious except for the chicken. The waiter did warn my wife that it was dark meat but it was a bit stringy and she said the texture wasn't right. My takeaway is to try the rest of the menu but steer clear of the chicken. I can't wait to try the grilled octopus and lemon chicken soup! Service was superb, everyone was friendly and attentive!

Very tasty food, the man who took our order was friendly and he did so without writing anything down. There was 8 of us! Everything came out correct. Casual atmosphere and reasonably priced. Recommend!!!

This place is an amazing! We'v been lucky enough to have lived in Greece. We'v gotten to experience their amazing food and hospitality there! This place is one of the best in the area! Never disappoints!!

Update - we still love this place!! Great service, and most of the food is incredible! The grilled pita, the dips (a bit salty/oily now) the avgolemono soup (lemon, chicken and rice) and babaganouj (called something else, I can never remember), excellent. A little bit of adjustment needed on certain foods - the gyro is sliced WAY too thin. It's dry when served and a real miss at this place. The lamb chops were overcooked. Should be a nice medium/medium rare and they were well, but VERY tasty. I'll skip the falafel next time - it's dry and small. The pictures make it look much bigger, more herbal and softer. The olive oil is high quality but if ordering dips (tzatziki, hummus, babaganouj) just less of the finishing oil and salt on top. It's just too much. Minor execution issues, but still one of our favorites.

In the old days I probably would've given this place 4 stars but given the fact that service everywhere has gone downhill, these folks really exceeded my expectations. Seated promptly and given our choice of tables, fast and courteous service, frequent refills and owner checked in with us to ensure everything was good. Food is good and plentiful; prices are on par with other places given recent inflation-related price hikes.

This is dinner type of food. Cheaper tasteless ingredients. Can't believe the prices they have for this quality of food.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THE OWNER. I HAD TO CALL THE POLICE! He forced me to order food I did not want.I had a $100 gift card and he said it needed to be used all at once. Our total was $70. He refused to give me a $30 gift card or $30 in cash. No where was this stated on the gift card he does not have a website. He forced us to purchase food we did not want. So we paid the bill which was now over $100. I gave him the gift card and cash and then he refused to give me my food! He said I had to give him a 20% tip before he would give me my food! He threw my extra money on the table but kept the gift card. I hadn't even had a chance to leave a tip! The police were called because at this point he became very aggressive grabbed my water that I was drinking and was yelling " these are my rules everyone has to tip 20%" I was very frightened. 2 officers came and tried to talk with him but he kept yelling " I own this place and these are my rules." He was disrespectful to the officers when they tried to explain the rules in the State of Georgia. The officers were able to have him take off the extra food and return my gift card. We paid our bill and left. It was a very frightening experience , he was yelling in our face , he hit my hand with the glass of water and got water all over the table . My friend and I went here to have a nice dinner and never expected to be disrespected in such a manner. He ruined our dinner and the dinners of all the people that witnessed this terrible behavior. There were several children there who saw and heard everything. The officer told me he did not have the right to do what he did. I still can't believe the way this man treats his customers. He even lied to the police officers saying "his rules" were on his website. The officers pointed out to him that he does not have a website...If you go to this restaurant be careful....

Best Greek food since I left Athens ! We had the octopus and it's worth it! Best baklava in Atlanta too. Owners coffee to go with it. Yummmmy

We ate here for the first time on Wednesday, May 18th - only two weeks after they opened. I don't expect much from a restaurant that "young", but we were pleasantly surprised! The waitress was very friendly and well informed about the menu and the two fish specials. We had a great appetizer - Malitzanosalata - which is an eggplant based dip you eat with pita bread. Absolutely delicious and I will likely get this on every return visit. Paired with their bottled Greek beer was perfect. I had the beef and lamb Gyro Platter which included some great sides. Nice quality meat and prepared perfectly. My wife had the Pork Skewers which she was not crazy about, but the sides made up for it. The owner stopped by to say hello and he is a delightful person. We're looking forward to seeing him and the rest of the crew on a regular basis!

Went for lunch today based on a rave review from a business colleague..it was FABULOUS!! NICKOLETTA, our server was AMAZING she was hospitable, accommodating and efficient..FANTASTIC! The gyro platter was beyond delicious! My sister ordered the Chicken platter..beyond compare!! If you've never gone, try it...you'll not be disappointed!!

I'm so excited to have this wonderful Greek Restaurant so close! My son and I went for a quick dinner. He had the Gyro and I had the Gyro Salad. They were the best we have had! Full of meat and delicious. I couldn't believe how big my salad was; I finished it for lunch the next day. Service was impeccable and our server was so helpful. The restaurant is bright and airy; we felt like we were on vacation. I can't wait to go back and try other items on the menu.

Food was too expensive for what you get. I can go to a fast food Mediterranean restaurant near by and get a lot more and better tasting than what I got here!

Their Spanokopita and Greek salad combination are great. I love the lemon chicken soup is also delicious. The servers are very nice. I just wish they had fountain drinks and fresh brewed tea.

Visited on our way back to Murphy, NC. The food was absolutely awesome and reasonably priced and the staff were second to none. We chose the Gyro plate with salad and fries and the serving was amazing and delicious. Took a picture of the menu in hopes of returning there in the near future. Highly recommend if you are looking for a great meal!
