What I especially appreciated is their strong variety of non-alcoholic drinks, which makes the bar accessible and enjoyable for everyone, even if you’re not drinking alcohol. All in all, a truly pleasant experience that I would happily recommend.

The music in the restaurant was mega loud you can not hear what the person in front of you is saying. For my taste the quesadilla was too sweet, but 'degustibus non disputandum' maybe for other people is good. I would definitely recommend it!

Really tasty Mexican restaurant. And from the number of Mexican people I saw there, I can tell they do like it as their home. I ordered beef nachos and enchiladas, the nachos were really good, the enchiladas, not so much. Overall I liked the ambiance of the place, the decor, and the art.

So comforting and familiar to home for me. The food was incredible. Got the tortilla soup and the 3 carnitas tacos. The chips and salsa were great as well. Water came out cold which was refreshing. Our server was so honest and helpful.

During our lunch visit the place was completely empty. The place is clean and nicely decorated. The food was awesome but I have very little experience with Mexican cuisine. The only problem was that they don't serve cocktails before 4 p.m. I wanted one caipirinha because I travelled by a bus after the lunch so I did not want to drink too much liquid, but they appologized and did not make it. But I asked my friends from Vienna and they told me that this is common in many places. So my bad that I was a bit dissapointed. But otherwise, very pleasant visit.

Enchiladas and rice were very tasty. Margarita was excellent. They definitely have their own style so try with an open mind as it may not be as cheesy as tex-mex but still very flavorful.

You need to make a reservation first to sit here, and it's easy. You can make this on their website with easy 2-3 steps. We made a wrong reservation because they have had 2 restoraunts which we don't see in the reservation survey. Even if we made a wrong reservation (for other restoraunt), they managed to find a table for us 4, and a good one for me, which is a big plus. The employees were very polite. We ordered different food and for me everything was fine, good and delicious. The other couple, which were with us, had some complaints about the smokey barbecue ribs, but for me and my girlfriend, they were fine. As you can see from the photos everything looks perfect and delicious.

I was only in Vienna for one night and fortunately found Santos. Atmosphere, staff, food all off the hook. The flavors are both nuanced and explosive if that makes sense. Pro bartenders, stunning artsy decor and a relaxed vibe make Santos a must! Apologies for the photo but I absolutely DESTROYED the Birria Quesadilla 😅

They served us nachos with uncooked steak. Everything was pretty blah and bland. Service was very slow. Drinks were ok.

Rude and dismissive servers, even to a handicapped woman with obvious trouble getting around. Asked for a mocktail and tea to take-away and the waiter snorted "we do not DO take away" as though pseudo-Mexican cuisine an Ocean away from Mexico is somehow "too good" to sell 12EU of beverage for take away. The popularity of this place seems mostly derived by smokers on the patio who've never had real Mexican food.

The food they had was very good and we enjoyed it. We would liked to see a larger Mexican menu with more choices . The service was excellent and the Ambiance was very enjoyable

Went there with the family. Kid friendly. Beef ribs were good. Fajitas were huge. Could serve 2 or 3 people. Friendly service. No kids menu. Reservation likely required. Sweet potatoes fires are a must. Nachos were okay.

Was with a group tonight my first time here. Place was half empty but fully staffed. We ordered a round of drinks and some appetizers. Food comes (hot and fresh) but no drinks and no plates. Plates come, food is cold, still no drinks. There are three bartenders. There names were "slow" - "slower" - "and reverse". Drinks took 20+ minutes. We had a second round of drinks, same story. Would not recommend this place other than my duck tacos were tasty. If only I had a beverage to wash them down with. Lame.......

Visited the place on a Sunday afternoon. Very neat restaurant if you want to have Mexican food. Nicely decorated with warm colors, abundant amount of wood, big windows, and very well designed lighting! We ordered Nachos, and although not in the menu, I have asked for a mixed Fajita (Beef & Chicken). We have been served pretty quickly and our waiter was kind. Fajita was very lightly prepared and very tasty. Reasonable pricing too (nachos + 2 Fajitas + 4 glasses of wine: 45€). In short, I would rate this place with 4.5 stars and recommend it to fellow Yelpers...

Came here in February. My plane landed in Vienna in the afternoon so I was so thankful for a place that is open late. The chicken fajitas were delicious and the dish was large and well-served. They have a big drinks selection, quick service, and nice waiters. Very tourist friendly!

Excellent food for a moderate price! I can't really complain! Probably the only thing I was hoping for was air conditioning as it was a really hot summer day. Other than that, highly recommended for everyone who likes Mexican food or even burgers!

The best part about this place is the cocktails, and the amazing happy hour. Love coming here for a few drinks and an appetizer or two. Definitely recommend the raspberry mojito and the peach daiquiri. As for the food, it's okay. As far as Mexican/Mexican fusion compared to other options in Vienna it hits the ball out of he bark. It still is lacking if you compare it to Mexican restaurants in other countries, but just don't come here expecting great Mexican food and you'll be fine. Oh, and get the fajitas. They're pretty good.

What a treat to find great Mexican food in Vienna. Living in south Texas we are surrounded with authentic Mexican food and it's hard to convince me to eat Mexican outside of the Lone Star state, but Santos Wieden didn't disappoint! Their salsa roja was smokey, spicy and comparable to what is served all over San Antonio. Our entrees were plated elegantly and were delectable. There is oblivious transit that drops you off within 2 blocks of the restaurant, so it's easy to find even if it's your first time in the city.

The drinks are awesome(favorite is the rusty nail) have english and german menus for tourists and the staff was amazing. They also have really good burgers for a mexican place!

We're from Houston, Texas. This was a top 5 Mexican joint I've ever eaten in, including all over Mexico. Service was Michelin-class, tequila selection was top-shelf and food was excellent! Real deal on the other side of the world.

Let me start by saying that the ambiance is fantastic, a bit low lights, Earth warm colours, spaciously designed, you just want to run your hands on the soft leather seats that look impeccable as you listen to homage to Spanish language music that's not too overly loud. Also, staff is fairly friendly. Also, there is a take out menu (although limitted). So why only the three stars? Price. For the cost, my burrito (about 10 Euros) should have been twice as big, and the hamburger of my companion (also around 10 Euros) looked like it missed at least a third of the meat. At least. It left you wanting more (the food was decent; I would not say off the roof, but fair), where you had the feeling you had more than an appetizer, but not a full meal. Also, in the summer, it is quite hot inside. Overall.... you come here for the ambiance, but you leave feeling a little light in your stomach and your wallet.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in Vienna ! Everything about this place is wonderful ! I keep coming back for more ! Tip: they're happy hours last most of the day, so make sure to check the timing so you don't miss out on them

I just moved to Vienna and have not visited too many mexican restaurants yet. But judging from what I know back from home the Santos is a very nice and cosy place to have proper lunch or dinner. Nicely decorated with warm colors and a lot of wood the atmosphere is welcoming. The staff is very friendly and drinks as well as dishes were quickly served. The menu consists of some classics but also depicts the passion of the chef to offer new things which might not be so well know but still are very tasteful. I loved that the restaurant also consists of a very nice bar area. Although you can also order the drinks/cocktails at the table, I always love to sit down at the bar to have my digestif. Santos offers a nice range of traditional cocktails including some specials. I had a cocktail with popcorn which was new to me but I loved it. All in all - go there - you won´t regret it!
