Great place for birding! 🦜🦅🦉🦢 Camarones is a nice small town in this "dry forest" area (desert brush and trees),l. And nearby Mar Azul has good air-conditioned cabins close to the beach, and a good open-air restaurant overlooking the Caribbean.

Beautifull place for birding ! we went there in October and had the chance to see multiple groups of Flamingos. The nature is also stunning and the guide super friendly.

Great day trip when staying in Palomino. Really easy to go on your own. We took a shuttle from Palomino, got off just past the tolls, there was a guide waiting along the highway who took us the rest of the way.

Beautiful place to see flamingoes in Colombia, I arrived on my own taking a bus from Palomino to Camarones. The community has some tourist guides who wait for you in the bus stop and take you by motorcycle to the beach where the boats are. You navigate for approximately 20 minutes. Make sure to wear sunscreen because you’ll be under the sun for a couple of hours

Unforgettable experience! The place is clean, the service is amazing and the tour guides are friendly, willing to help and solve questions. I got attended by Brayan, super friendly and helpful. The price is decent for the experience, the tour took about 2 hours and we got the lucky to see a lot of flamencos! Was magic.

Exciting and incredible experience. We arrived past 17h and they still checked if we had the flamingos close by so we could see them. They let us in at 17:30, with a guide, and we had the best sunset and view of the flamingos, the sky and the lake. If you are around do not hesitate to pasa by. Also, we learnt that you can stay dor the night if you have a tent, for sure a great idea.

Beautiful place, nature at it's best flamingos are very majestic . People are very friendly and eager to help you explore and have a good experience.
