I ordered the Angus beef udon, the Signature Sanuki Style, and it was perfect. The beef was so tender. The soup was so delicious, I didn’t need to do any seasoning at all. The waiter was so nice. The chef was so nice. The atmosphere was so nice. Everything was so perfect. This place is recommended!! Gotta come back again.

Google
Got the lunch special $16.99 for this angus beef bowl udon. Udon texture was perfectly chewy and broth was delicious. Beef was tasty but had a lot of fatty pieces and I wish the egg was a bit less runny. Overall, delicious and service was great!

Google
I go here at least once a week with my roommates— the udon is an absolute blast! Having tried most of the items on the menu I’d recommend the cold udon with beef/pork, curry uson (with chicken katsu.. is incredibly good). The staffs are incredibly kind and the entire place is such a vibe! Great for casual dates and going out with friends — love the owner Yuna :)! If you’re also from TMU there’s a lunch deal, and super close to campus ^-^

Google
I had the beef fried rice and it was delicious. The rice has some eggs and was delightfully flavourful. Not sure if they added anything in it, but it was delicious. The beef was tasty, but could have been a bit more tender, or sliced into smaller pieces. But overall absolutely lovely meal. Thank you

Google
Authentic flavours and great service. The udon noodles were a bit overcooked, but the broth flavour made up for it. They only have one high chair available, but they were accommodating and very friendly.

WarmlyNoted

Google
Had a delicious curry beef udon. The curry sauce was flavourful and the beef very tender! It was a nice escape from the cold!

First time here I was so impressed. Lunch Special price only $16 with 1 side and 1 drink. Generous portion. Highly recommend this place.

Yelp
Went to this udon shop for dinner. I ordered the Angus Beef Udon bowl as it was their number 1 menu item. Price was pretty reasonable for a bowl of udon for around $21. This place had a nice ambiance but only had a handful of tables to sit at and they have an open kitchen concept. The noodles were really chewy, the broth was really flavourful and the beef was tasty. The service was pretty fast and you can pay at the counter. The place was full around 6pm when I went but luckily there was a table available,

Yelp
The cold weather got me craving for a warm comfy bowl of udon so I went to Sanuki Udon and got the pork belly udon. The udon was full of umami and it was very hearty. The broth was flavourful and they didnt skimp out on the pork belly. The ambiance was also very calm and cozy. I came in close to closing so it wasnt a lot of people. Highly recommend this place if youre craving for a good bowl of udon!

Yelp
I LOVE fresh Japanese udon so this was automatically on my list when I walked by. I probably had 3 Japanese udon spots on just my last visit to Japan, specifically Sanuki style udon, so I'm probably a bit more picky than your usual guest. I say this is an A-okay but didn't exactly hit the mark for me. My go-to is cold udon and I don't find many places outside of Japan serving this and if they do, nailing it. I took a sip of the wagyu hot udon soup and I found that to be more tasty than my cold pork belly one. It's also quite awkward to eat given the sauce is in a cup instead of a bowl with a smaller opening to drench the noodles. If I pour the sauce over the noodles it would just strain through. It only makes sense if the sauce is intense in flavour but it tastes kind of watered down. I suppose they didn't wring the water out enough of their noodles when they served, hence relying on the bamboo strainer to separate the water out. I also find it not as appealing to visibly see the starch layer over the noodles. The noodles are not as smooth as what I see in Japan. I decided to shift the noodles to my pork plate so I can mix the broth to eat to give it more flavour. The fried oysters are good too no complaints. I'm sure if I haven't eaten so much cold Japanese udon before, I probably would be satisfied. I'll definitely recommend the hot udon instead of the cold. The price point is moderate so still a good choice. There aren't too many tables inside. However, we were easily able to grab seats on a weekend.

Yelp
I have had Sanuki Udon saved in my list of restaurants to eat for awhile. I was so excited that our air b and b was a couple blocks away. Upon entering the restaurant, you could smell the aroma of the udon, it's heavenly. We were seating fairly quickly for Saturday afternoon. My husband got the wagyu udon and I got the shrimp udon. The udon is homemade! The portions are huge! The wagyu had a lot of flavor and the shrimp tempera was huge! Although it was such a hot and humid day, this udon hit the spot. The broth was fragrant yet light. I'd recommend coming here for a delicious bowl of udon.

Yelp
I tried the signature beef udon, to be honest the beef was really below standard and disappointed, no slides can be seen only very thin shuttered beef fat and taste very general. The only good thing is the texture of udon was similar to Japan handmade standard. Soup broth was also no layer only salty soya sauce taste. I think if there is next time in really cold time crave for hot udon, I will only try their Veg udon. Service was ok but it costed $20 more for this udon was not too worth in my opinion.

Yelp
This review is for a delivery order. I ordered the wagyu beef set and it was on promo (maybe that explains the subpar experience). The udon set is packed nicely but isn't anything to write home about. Beef is OK and as expected not a generous portion. Other items were just forgetful. Broth had a sweet finish which funny enough reminded me of what one gets from Sukiyaki. Even with the promo there are priced closer to a go to spot which I would pick over them. 2.5 Stars

Yelp
Went on a cold winter night and it was a great way to warm up. The service was very friendly and decently quick. The udon texture was great and the beef was great. But I'm giving it 3 stars mainly because the amount of food for cost was pretty crazy. We spent about 55 dollars for 2 bowls of udon and we were still hungry after. Also the broth for the beef udon was very salty. Probably won't come again but was good to try.

Yelp
The major highlight was witnessing how a worker took the hand-pulled noodles to where the cooks were so they could use the noodles. I think that's a very good concept and that itself definitely made me think about giving this place a 4 instead, but I have decided to keep it at 3 because the fresh udon didn't compensate for the lack of highlight in the items' flavors. I thought there was an abundant amount of beed in the M7 wagyu ramen, which was quite amazing, even if the ramen tasted mediocre overall. The kaki oyster tempura also tasted mediocre because it wasn' extraordinarily delicious even with the sauce and the fried breading (most likely panko). My partner had relatively good things to say about the onigiri, but still felt like it was okay overall. I do think, though, that it was at a very convenient location downtown, so for Toronto visitors, this would be a good spot for a quick bite.

Yelp
The service here was one of the weirdest experiences I've ever had. When you approach the restaurant, the door is already open - that's because the AC doesn't work, god knows why they need AC in the winter but the restaurant is freezing cold. There's a signup sheet for you to put your name down to wait for a table, since it doesn't seem like they know how to manage that themselves. Half the tables are empty but they haven't been cleared. We asked to sit in the booth but they said sorry no the booth is for 4 people, however I look over and there is a single person by themselves ASLEEP IN THE BOOTH. WTF?! Anyways they let other couples sit in the booths, so that made absolutely no sense. Overall, the service was basically non existent and it felt like none of the servers have ever worked at a restaurant before. After a while, we finally got our udon which was somewhere between lukewarm and hot. It was decent but not something I'd come back for. The broth and meat quality were good, the noodles were subpar, but most importantly you can't classify any hot soup as "good" if it's not served piping hot. Overall, I'd give this place a pass.

Yelp
Great and polite service here! The hostess / waitress was very busy but managed to help us whenever we needed. The interior is very japanese. The bar isn't available for dining as it would block foot traffic. The Udon is okay. The noodles were perfect but.. the soup was just warm, the egg was hardboiled instead of soft, the soup was also more salty than I'd like but the flavor was good. So not the best but not the worst. The tempura shrimp was great though expensive and the onigiri is nice.

Yelp
I was excited to try Sanuki Udon, but unfortunately, my visit disappointed me. I arrived at the opening on a weekday, so there was no wait. However, they were out of shrimp tempura that day, so I opted for the karaage udon instead. The food took about 20-25 minutes. The udon noodles were very soft and delicious, but the overall dish was let down by the broth and karaage being overly salty, and I could only eat a quarter of it. Accessibility: ramp at the entrance, several public transport options. The space inside is spacious, and the washrooms are large, with no automatic door openers. There is no wifi available.

Yelp
Check out sanuki udon for freshly pulled udon noodles! Their noodles are made to order, the perfect texture and chewiness! I tried the Signature A7 Angus Beef Udon and their Cold Mentaiko Udon. Great flavour and portion sizes! I think it's a bit expensive for what it is, but there aren't many places in Toronto for fresh udon. The service was quick and all three staff were very patient explaining the menu. I loved the decor at the back!

Yelp
Nice place with friendly service. Good spot to grab a quick lunch if you are in the area. My rating though would be roughly 3.5 stars for the food but rounding up to a 4. Nothing spectacular, but it's a decent bowl of udon. Texture of udon is good, though it is less so on the bouncy side. Would be better if they use a larger bowl so you get more piping hot broth. The waguy beef was fatty and melt in your mouth.

Yelp
Came for late lunch, around 1:30 pm, after seeing this place hyped in Instagram awhile back. The Google reviews were 4.8 with 600+ reviews, so looked pretty solid. Restaurant has nice decor. Spacious and clean. I initially tried to order a pork belly, but it was already sold out. Decided to get the curry A7 Angus beef udon. It was quite tough to chew, but I eat well done meat so this isn't the end of the world for me. The real problem is the udon. It was flavourless, didn't have any of the springy bouncy texture while chewing, and overall pretty sad. The curry was not very flavourful either. I feel like I could have made this at home with random store bought ingredients. And I also saw a pile of noodles under the tap with water running? Is it cooling down the noodle? Kind of interesting

Yelp
The noodles here are so unique and tasty! I got the jumbo shrimp tempora which is really good But I prefer if it had a little more sauce , and the wagyu beef udon Which had a great Torched flavor and I love the egg yolk . I also got the chicken Karaage tempera Which is really crispy too. The service is very quick and I really like the Ambiance here , very calm and not too busy . It also has a great location! Definitely recommended.

Yelp
I think this place is 3.5 stars! I heard mixed reviews but I went with friends yesterday for dinner and we had no issues. Food - I wanted try the Flame Torched Pork Belly Udon but it was sold out. Decided to try the Curry Tonkatsu Pork Cutlet Udon while my friends ordered either the same or the Curry A7 Angus Beef Udon. I didn't get a chance to try the A7 but friends said they liked it. My dish was good, the tonkatsu was nicely breaded and curry was interesting. Don't expect curry to be creamy, it has a bit more sweetness to it. I finished everything - noodles and any leftover soup in my bowl. Haha. Service - Server was nice but was quite busy as the crowd rolled in. There was a lineup outside by the time we finished dining but we were never made to feel rushed or to wrap up quicker. Spot is good for dining out with friends and maybe very casual dates.

Yelp
This is your typical udon place with the udon being prepared in front of you. It's clean and welcoming. The wait staff seems to have no sense of urgency at all, so if you're in a rush, this is not the place for you. The food is delish. The shrimp tempura is a must. Udon is fresh. The signature M7 Wagyu Beef Udon is a must. I'd probably not go for the flame torched pork belly Udon again in the future. It's not bad, it's just not as good as the signature. The egg is not soft-boiled like I'm used to at other udon spots, but it's not a deal breaker. This was our first time here and won't be the last.

Yelp
Location/Service This place is right near the intersection of Yonge and Carleton - very accessible by public transit with a few parking areas around the block. The sign is pretty easy to spot, right on the ground level of a commercial/condo building. Inside is much bigger than I thought - probably can hold up to at least 70 people or so. But it does get pretty busy during peak hours - so time accordingly. Interior is very modern - I like how it's very open kitchen so you can see all the chefs working. Staff were very nice and friendly - orders were done pretty quickly as well. Food There's a lot to select - from udon to rice bowl. We ended up trying different types of udon bowls - jumbo shrimp, wagyu, flame torched pork belly and then a few tempura appetizers. The udon can be ordered hot or cold - for a hot summer day, the cold was a great choice. The wagyu one is by far the best in my opinion. I like the soy sauce mixture of the udon broth - it's nice to the palette but not too salty. The wagyu was very soft, tasty and juicy - pairs so well together. The pork belly was good too - cooked in a similar manner as the wagyu beef - but the broth is a bit more bland - but I like how there's an egg and various tempura bits to add a kick. The jumbo shrimp's udon setup is the same as pork belly one. The shrimp indeed was jumbo - although it's only 2 pieces, but it's done crunchy and a good amount of batter. The tempura appetizers - like the jumbo shrimp - are consistent as well. Easy to share and easy to bite on. Overall, I like this place and it's nice to have more udon variety in the downtown area. Definitely will go back again.

Yelp
Hot take on a highly rated restaurant though it seems they ask for Google reviews which may be the result of their inflated ratings. Though the appearance was presentable the service was incredibly slow even though there were three other groups in there on a Sunday night. Surprisingly quiet on a weekend evening around 6. Even when we asked for recommendations from the waitress or asked about something on the menu she couldn't give us an explanation. Also when the udon came we found it to be lukewarm and not hot. We did think the food was quite flavourful but the lukewarm temperature of the food and broth made it very off putting. Sad to say but we won't be visiting again.

Yelp
I almost doubted as to whether this restaurant really exists when I realized they were not present on Google Maps; nor could I locate a website or phone number anywhere online. But I trusted the Yelp reviews and sure enough it was right by College Station! The interior was quite spacious with comfortable seating, and given that the place is fairly new everything (including the washrooms) were extremely clean. You order by the counter and then sit down - they bring the food to you - and then pay by the counter again. I decided on the jumbo shrimp udon and must say that I was very much disappointed by the first impression of the dish - I have no idea by what standard they could call the two tiny pieces of shrimp "jumbo". The udon itself also came in a rather small bowl, although the portion of noodles turned out to be sufficient. Despite the taste being on point, it was definitely not worth the $20 cost, even considering the location... On the other hand, my friend ordered the flame torched pork belly udon and sang its praises. I can't tell if my standards were too high or hers were too low, or maybe the pork belly is just exceptionally well cooked? Service was excellent as the waitress was always friendly and smiling, greeting us both on the way in and the way out. However, note that this isn't really a full-service restaurant as we served ourselves to the menu, to the seats, and to payment. The advantage is that no one comes by with the bill hurrying you out the door. :) The mediocre food at a high price point makes me hesitate to return - maybe if I'm craving for udon and am too lazy to make the commute to Raku (what with the fiasco on Queen Street...sigh).

Yelp
This was below average. I had the wagyu curry udon and bf had the regular wagyu udon. I would say that the beef was the most stand-out thing in both, but that's because everything else was not very good. The udon is doughy but not bouncy like udon should be- they were almost like Chinese hand-pulled noodles in udon shape. The curry soup was NOT full-flavoured at all and tasted like they put too much water in it. The same was noted in the regular wagyu soup. If the soup and the noodles were not good, you're basically not going to have a good overall experience lol. I also saw the staff behind the counter sniffing a ziploc bag of chicken that they obviously suspected was bad. The one girl wasn't sure so she asked her coworker to sniff also- I hope they threw that out. I was glad to have been eating the beef. Bonus points for a nice atmosphere- they obviously put a lot of work into the space and it's quite nice.

Yelp
Fairly new Udon restaurant near College station. They have a smaller menu, but enough options for you to choose from. We visited during their Buy 1 Get 1 Free promotion of their pork belly udon. The broth was light but surprisingly flavourful. Udon noodles were on the denser side. I wished it was more chewy. Pork belly was thinly sliced and charred slightly. It was really yummy. The egg was way too salty for my liking though. Service was attentive. Overall we enjoyed our bowls of udon! . . Pork Belly Udon 3.75/5

Yelp
came here not long after they opened to try their wagyu beef udon which was delish! the prices are really fair and the food satisfied my soupy udon craving :) since there's not lot of udon specific restaurants in toronto i'd give this one a shot. i wouldn't get the veggie kakiaage again as a side tho as it was not crunchy and a bit soggy tbh.

Yelp
Sanuki udon is advertised as one of the most authentic udon spots in Toronto. When I walked in it was a cute cozy restaurant that is bright inside with quite a few table and bar seating options. We got a lot of things to try as we were so hungry: - Mentaiko onigiri and mayo shrimp onigiri: Rice was fresh and warm and the seaweed was crispy! I would have liked more filling though, I think I only found one shrimp. 7/10 - Jumbo shrimp tempura: These were some huge shrimp. I don't think I've ever had tempura shrimp this large!! The batter was amazing and crispy. 10/10 - Chicken karaage tempura: Batter was the same as the shrimp and there were 5 pieces. I think tempura batter is an interesting choice for karaage but it was still very yummy. 8/10 - Signature M7 wagyu beef udon: Couldn't come here without having their most famous dish! The wagyu had this amazing char as they torch it before serving. Broth was clear and flavourful. The egg and the tempura toppings/onions were also a nice touch. The udon (overall for both this dish and the next) was a bit al dente - when I bit into it I could see a tiny bit of raw dough in the middle. Not sure if this was intentional so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, but the udon is heavier and chewier than other udon places. 9/10 - Curry tonkatsu udon: Yummy and rich. I'm not sure if we spent too long taking pictures of the food first but the breading started falling apart as it was soaking in the sauce for a while. 8/10 - Calpico and diet coke: You can get a free drink if you write a Google review for them. Service was great and was nice to able to see them cooking in an open kitchen! Would come again!

Yelp
Love the chewiness of the udon! The mentaiko one was a nice cold refreshing dish, does not have any kewpie mayo which I thought. But still tastes good. The beef signature udon was really filling. The beef was fatty as well. Nice place to try!

Yelp
New udon place in Yonge/College area right beside the Imagine Cinemas. You walk in and order standing along with the waitress, there doesn't seem to be any physical menus or anything so you order before being seated. The storefront is actually quite large with plenty seats of 2 and 4. It wasn't too busy with about half the restaurant being filled. Their menu is quite simple with only 6 or so udon options. Ordered the Spicy Tantan Udon ($14.99) and the Pork Belly Udon ($16.49). I thought the Tantan Udon was just alright. I would've thought this style would be the no broth, just sauce kind of Udon but it came in a broth too which threw me off. The pork belly Udon on the other hand was fantastic. Very simple, light flavours and plenty of pork belly to go with it. The noodles were very chewy yet definitely on the thinner side for Udon. Really liked this one. The atmosphere is very chill and calming, and service was great. Price is on the higher side for an Udon dish imo but its a good blend of simple flavours and simple atmosphere that I liked. (they take amex which is great)

Yelp
This was a nice place, suggestion.... Don't wear too many layers! It's hot af in the restaurant. We went for dinner and damnnnnn it was hawwwwtttt! We ordered the special for 2. It was worth it! It comes with both rice and noodles! Loads of carbs. The staff were super nice and accommodating! I would definitely come back! Perfect for fall when it's cold outside!

Yelp
There's not many Japanese Udon spots in the city and if you're a noodle lover like me, then you have to try Sanuki Udon ! They make their noodles in house everyday and the chefs put lots of love and efforts to the presentation of their dishes. The noodles are really bouncing and delicious! I love the torched wagyu beef ; it really adds an umami flavour to the dish! I also enjoyed the large shrimp tempura with their cold noodle; it was a perfect pairing . I love the cold and hot options for their udon too. You can really find different udons for all kinds of weather. I definitely would recommend trying this new spot for Japanese udons!

Yelp
good one I like the food here. very fresh. I love. was worth it! It comes with both rice and noodles! Loads of carbs. The staff were super nice and accommodating! I would definitely come

Yelp
When you first walk in, there is something very calming seeing all the wooden furniture and decorations. What makes it even better is the staff are incredibly efficient with service and polite when explaining things to customers. The feeling I got upon entering this restaurant by chance was enough to get me to sit down. But the food is what will make me come back again. I ordered the Japanese Curry Tonkatsu Udon and everything was perfect. The tonkatsu was crispy on the outside but juicy on the inside. It was good on its own but dipping it into the curry broth added so much more flavour. The udon was a nice chewy texture and wasn't as slippery as other udons I've had. I definitely recommend everybody check this place out.

Yelp
I stopped by for dinner and it did not disappoint!! They're very generous with portions and its very delicious. We got the wagyu beef udon and curry udon. I loved the texture of the udon.
google avatar

Jessica Y.

Yelp
Good was good and tasty soup. I enjoy the lemon that you can add into the soup on your own for a slightly more refreshing taste. There is also option if hot or cold soup when you order your udon. Service was attentive and helpful as it was my first time there.
google avatar

Caroline I.

Yelp
Was a little disappointed in this place. I got the wagyu beef udon and it wasn't really worth it. The soup base did not have a wow factor and was pretty plain. My friend got the jumbo shrimp and we got karrage as appetizer but both did not have the crispiness to it. They also need a better setup with the trays/space with the tables, I understand it's part of the experience but we had a struggle putting everything on our table for 2 ppl! The service was really good though
google avatar

John L.

Yelp
For this visit I got the Wagyu udon and the deep fried oysters. The Wagyu had a nice sear to it and had a tender texture. The soup wasn't too salty and had a nice umami taste to it. The fried oysters were crispy and a good deal at $3.50 for 3 pieces. Staff were very friendly and restaurant had lots of seats. A good place to check out if you got cravings for Japanese noodles.
google avatar

Erika A.

Yelp
I really like this restaurant! The service is great, the restaurant is clean, and the food is amazing. The curry katsu udon is so filling and rich. Though i would not get the shrimp onigiri again because there was only 1 shrimp in it and it was $6 so i cant really justify the price.
google avatar

Lilian C.

Yelp
I tried 2 different udon flavours on separate occasions , I think they are both too sweet for me. I'm not sure why the soup flavour has to be on the sweet side, I thought usually Japanese food are pretty salty. I tried the wagyu beef and the regular pork udon. I'll just go back to ramen place instead. The bowl is also on the smaller side. Almost forgot to mention the soup was just warm on both occasions and different flavours , not even hot. When I have soup noodles I want the soup to be hot. I know sometimes places just have warm for Tan tan noodles, but I still think it's weird.

Yelp
Came here for dinner on a Wednesday evening with some of my best pals whom I haven't seen in a while and wanted to try out a new Japanese joint. This was on our radar of place to try and let me tell you something. It did not disappoint, the ambient setting inside presented itself with traditional Japanese architecture and the udon which they are known for was hand made to order, everything was freshly made and presentation on each of our order was perfectly aligned to what I envisioned how our order came to fruition. The staffs on the floor were very attentive and presentable in a very welcoming manner. Happy and loud to greet the customers when entering and exiting. Our main course for the evening was 2x wagyu udon, jumbo shrimp udon and the chicken karage udon with a side of chicken karage and jumbo shrimp on their own. I very much liked the fact that the jumbo shrimp and chicken karage was put on the side of the tray without it being submerged in the udon broth. Amazing aroma from our dish and appetizers, will definitely be back to try the other main dish on the menu. I don't recall seeing a liquor license, maybe in the process of obtaining one? Overall, great first impression and visit.

Yelp
It's a newly opened udon restaurant. I had been anticipating this for a long time since I noticed the space was being renovated. My wife and I ordered 3 dishes: a bowl of shrimp udon, a bowl of pork belly udon and vegetable tempura. IMO, udon restaurants are specialized in frying tempura and this one didn't disappoint me. The tempura tasted very good. The shrimp was big and the vegetable was juicy and soft. The best of all was the "fried clothes" (the fried batter) which tasted so nice when it was in the broth. I would say it's the best Japanese-style fried food I've ever had in Toronto, even better than other ramen restaurants. Unfortunately, I gave it only 4 because I thought this restaurant hasn't gotten on the track yet... I just felt when I was in the restaurant, the servers did not really care about us and did not introduce some basic information like we need to take the water bottles ourselves. It was a situation where had no server at all in the store. I even saw some customers enter and no one lead them just letting them stand there. I don't think this restaurant was understaffed because it just opened and it didn't have so many customers. I think it's just a training problem.

Yelp
Good udon but there were a lot of menu items that were unavailable. I got the wagyu beef udon which was good and my bro tried the brothless one. He enjoyed it and liked the raw egg on top. The karaage was juicy and was great! Great staff, quick service. Casual setting, and you can just walk in.

Yelp
Nicely decorated restaurant with polite and helpful staff. Ordered Signature A7 Wagyu Beef Udon and Chicken Karaage Zaru Udon. Wagyu beef was fatty and added richness to the broth which was otherwise a little plain. Soft boiled egg was delish, tad salty but I like that. Noodles were chewy. My bowl was warm, not hot and it kinda threw me off a little. It was good but I wouldn't visit again. (Follow @tats.eats on Instagram for more)

Yelp
The food and service were excellent! I had the angus curry udon and it was delicious! The kara'age and shrimp tempura were crunchy and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend this place.

Yelp
Great new udon place! The torched meat has a nice herb torched flavour that's pretty unique. The curry is a bit salty/msg flavour but overall pretty good. The tempura was ok, but not that crunchy Friendly service and comfortable seating. It's good to have another udon option!

Yelp
Not the best udon I've had but it did hit the spot after a long day of snowboarding. The broth was too salty for my taste but I enjoyed the curry udon a bit more than the wagyu beef udon. The noodles were soft and chewy. Service was quick and the staff was very nice. Not a bad visit but def better udon out there.

Yelp
Ordered the: - Spicy Tantan ($14.99) - Kitsune ($12.99) - Vegetable Tempura ($3.28) The vegetable tempura is delicious and fried perfectly while not being too oily. Both the udons were really good too - it's clear the udon is handmade (or at least not like the frozen ones you buy in store) as it's thicker and chewier. The kitsune is very plain (doesn't even come with green onions). The spicy tantan is a much more flavorful and also comes with half an egg. In terms of ordering, it's a bit strange since you have to order once you go in. Would have preferred they gave menus (they could have also just given a sheet for customers to fill out). Also, on the counter, there's a display for the shrimp tempura, chicken, and vegetable tempura. Not really sure why this was here - honestly, a menu with pictures would probably suffice. Service is good since it wasn't too busy when we went, but there was only 1 server so not sure how efficient this system would be if there were more people here.

Yelp
Delicious. Wagyu beef udon was wonderfully tender and fatty, which spilled over into the broth in a way I was unaccustomed to but wasn't unpleasant - it's basically the ramen experience with udon. Space was clean, service was good. Prices were pretty high, but roughly in line with ramen prices.
