🌿 Sapana Home Village (Chitwan, Nepal) – Our Honest Review - Sapana Home Village is a perfect example of eco-tourism. The rooms were very comfortable, cleanliness was excellent, and the management was very good. The food was tasty and hygienic, which added a lot to the overall experience. The natural view is outstanding—you can enjoy the river, lush greenery, and even spot elephants at times, which makes the stay truly special. The place feels calm, peaceful, and close to nature. The staff is friendly and helpful, and overall the stay was very pleasant. Spending 2–3 nights here is ideal to fully enjoy the environment and relax. 🔧 Areas for improvement: The staff connects more with foreign guests; interaction with Indian guests could be improved to make them feel more welcomed. There is a language barrier at times. Apart from these small points, Sapana Home Village is an excellent place to stay. If these minor issues are overlooked, the property offers a wonderful and memorable eco-friendly experience. ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆

We stayed 3 days/2 nights and wish we'd have planned more time here. This is a lovely facility with plenty of space to sit back and relax. There is a great variety of excursion choices, and our favorite was breakfast with elephants. We especially appreciated their focus on conservation and the local community. And the food: every meal was outstanding! Highly recommend!

Sapana Lodge hotel is a very beautiful place. We loved our room and the staff were so kind and friendly, especially Anish the waiter with a huge smile. The food was delicious and the setting spectacular, with wildlife being regularly spotted from the dining and bar areas. It also has a bird and wildlife viewing platform and we had an amazing time feeding their rescued elephants, wildlife spotting on a canoe down the river and walking in the jungle....In addition, a trip to a traditional Magar village was wonderful to meet local people living in traditional ways. The lodge offers spa treatments too and I enjoyed a full body massage. We were sorry to leave as it is a very relaxing place

This place is just incredible. It’s a truly wonderful way to experience Chitwan, and the fact that the team takes care of every aspect of the tours makes it so worthwhile. We did the canoe ride and nature walk as well as the elephant walk. The guides are so knowledgeable and being able to have the experience with the elephants so up close while still respecting their space was unforgettable. The accommodation at the lodge is so comfortable and well designed, and the food at the restaurant is great as well. Couldn’t recommend a stay here enough - everyone goes above and beyond to make sure you’re well looked after which is really special.

This place is a dream! We had such an amazing stay, warm welcome and kind people around us. The effort they put into this place and the projects is really worth mentioning. They support the local Tharu people and arrange sustainable activities (incl. not providing Elephants riding activities), building schools, and protecting nature. We could not be happier to be here and see a sustainable way of tourism. They care about you and the community and you will love the view from the lodge. We were so lucky that many animals (Rhinos, Elephants, Crocodiles, Birds, etc.) just came so close to the lodge, which made our stay even more unforgettable!

Absolutely wonderful, highly recommend staying for several days. We stayed for 5 nights and still could have spent more time here relaxing and doing more activities. There were so many great relaxation and gathering spaces. Amazing views from dinner/breakfast - watch rhinos and elephants walk the river and grasslands. So many wonderful and affordable cultural, elephant, and spa offerings. Nepali massage is recommended! Also, elephant interactions are wonderful. Rooms are clean and comfy, and staff are very friendly! They will help with transportation and any needs you have. Delicious drinks! Recommend the jungle overnight if you like an outdoor and quiet serene experience (nice tree house rooms, great packed dinner, and nice quiet evening watching the animals.)

We had a wonderful experience in Sapana Village. Great accommodations, attentive and friendly staff, beautiful setting. The activities offered were also amazing - we fed the elephants, visited the village, did the safari, and stayed overnight at the tree house. Highly recommend all of them. And the best part is the incredible contribution SAPANA Village makes to the local community. Highly recommended.
