Sapodilla Ubud

This is the second time we have stayed at Sapodilla. The accommodation is tucked away from the Main Street but is walking distance to great restaurants. They also offer a shuttle to the heart of Ubud central which only took us 30 minutes to walk back. |The staff and service is exceptional, always friendly and accommodating. The pool was relaxing. We would recommend this place to couples with a serene and quaint setting. We felt very welcome and look forward to returning once again..

What a lovely boutique hotel. Customer service was top notch family oriented. They were all very helpful and happy. Breakfast menu was great, you select menu and they cook it fresh. Rooms were big, beds comfortable and bathroom amazing. They give you free transport in the ubud area. We will be back a very lovely hotel.

Stayed 5 nights in this lovely little boutique hotel located in the heart of Ubud. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a refreshing drink and cool towel. The staff is very friendly and attentive and responsive on WhatsApp. They keep the hotel clean and our room was always stocked with spring water. Our stay included a breakfast which was great with lots of options to choose from. The hotel is located in a perfect area, close to lots of shops and restaurants. I can highly recommend this hotel to anyone interested in staying in Ubud.

An Unforgettable Stay – Sapodilla Ubud! We had the pleasure of spending six wonderful nights at the Sapodilla Hotel, and we can honestly say it was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the very first moment, you can feel the warmth and hospitality of the staff. Every single team member was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always went out of their way to make our stay even more enjoyable — without ever being intrusive. Whether it was small thoughtful gestures or valuable tips for exploring Ubud and the surrounding area, the team consistently exceeded our expectations. Breakfast at Sapodilla is an absolute highlight. Served à la carte, freshly prepared, and offering a fantastic selection of local and international delicacies, it was a true delight every morning to discover new flavors in a relaxed and peaceful setting. The entire hotel grounds exude a special sense of calm and harmony — the perfect place to unwind from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The rooms are beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Sapodilla Ubud is a true gem in the heart of Ubud. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making my stay feel special from start to finish. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and set amidst peaceful tropical gardens—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The breakfast menu is amazing, with plenty of delicious options to choose from each morning. Plus, the hotel is within walking distance to many great restaurants and cafes, which made exploring Ubud even better. I especially loved the little touches like afternoon tea and the free shuttle to town. I can’t wait to come back—highly recommended!

What can i say about this delightful hotel. We had a wonderful stay, albeit just 2 nights, in Sapodilla. The breakfasts are varied, large and delicious. The team are available for any needs and go above and beyond what is required of them. They make you feel as if nothing is too much. Centrally located in Ubud the hotel offers free transfers to the centre of the town and will pick you up again if needed. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Me and my partner had a fabulous stay in Sapodilla. Our host Rianti was so welcoming and helpful. The breakfast at Sapodilla is outstanding with so many options to choose from. The best hotel breakfast I have ever eaten. The hotel room was Beautiful and extremely clean. The pool was so scenic and a great space to relax. The location is perfect as there are loads of great restaurants and shops nearby plus it’s a short walk from the yoga barn studio or a very short drive in the hotel transfer. Overall we had a fabulous stay.

What an incredible stay!! This hotel made my trip to Ubud. Wonderfully located next to the vibrant yoga barn, local markets, entertainment, independent stores and the monkey forest. To sum it up, I found the hotel relaxing and beautiful! The decoration, wind chimes, unique touches and selection of books certainly impress. Inviting, bright, comfortable, helpful ( umbrellas and transport for those in need) and daily offerings of coffee and treats. The fresh fruit was delightful. The Sapodilla team are amazing, as helpful as could be, and really friendly, sharing great local advice, even on unfamiliar topics, sharing smiles and cheerful banter when conversing, and pleasant surprises too. I mentioned interest in attending an “offering” workshop, and they suggested that they could host that at the hotel as a treat! The teacher who led this workshop made my trip! She was on her first day as part of the Sapodilla team and you would never have guessed it. She was natural in leading: friendly, fun and knowledgeable in the workshop. She shared cultural insights and showed interest in learning about my home town too ( it was fun to share.) I feel like we had met as strangers and became friends. I couldn’t appreciate her more. Meeting each member of the team brought insights and a sense of community.This hotel was full of surprises, be sure to be welcomed to a delightful selection of favourable teas, stunning views, a refreshing pool and thoughtful “bedtime stories.” Overall, the Sapodillia hotel community went out of their way to connect with others and genuinely care. It is a lovely place to stay, especially with the location being so central. Thank you Sapodillia team!!
