Sapodilla Ubud

We stayed at Sapodilla Ubud for 3N and I must say that the hospitality of the staff was amazing. We stayed in room 203 on the first floor. The room was spacious and was clean. The room staff cleaned the room everyday. The bathroom was spacious with separate shower area and bath tub. The toilet was also separate. Overall it was clean and well maintained. The room has all basic amenities with tea/coffee maker, bed with curtains, working desk, TV, wardobe, etc. The view from the balcony was of the pool and the adjoining forests. The swimming was really aesthetic with trees on one side and rooms on the other. Since it is a boutique hotel, the swimming pool was as good as a private pool. We used the pool on all 3 days and there was hardly anyone else. The staff was very courteous and polite. Always had a smile on the face. The restaurant was also very good. The breakfast options included in our package was very good. We had options to order from a variety of dishes and beverages. The hotel is located on a busy road about 2 km from Ubud Market. The Sacred Monkey Forest Is at walkable distance from the hotel at about 700m. They have a shuttle service as well from the hotel to the Ubud market and back. This was really helpful. They had complimentary afternoon tea and snacks everyday between 3-6 pm. Don’t miss the same if you are in the hotel around this time.

Terrible Stay,.Not Worth the Money. I had one of the worst hotel experiences here. The room may look good in photos, but the reality is completely different. First of all I was out for some 1-2 hours the staff entered the room without permission and did something to the balcony. They lost the key to my balcony, so I couldn’t even use it. The hot water never worked, and the staff kept giving excuses instead of fixing anything. The bath tub takes 1.5 hours to fill and no hot water comes only cold water. For the price they charge, the service is absolutely pathetic. Food quality was also very poor. Complete waste of money. I will never stay here again.

A peaceful sactuary hidden from the noise and general hubbub of Ubud. At recepton we were greeted with a Balinese welcome drink before we were shown to our room. We had a patio with a comfy sofa and table with chairs. We entered our glass fronted room through a sliding door into the main living area. There was a desk with a handwritten welcome card with pics of the staff, a nice touch. We had a very comfortable four poster style bed with traditioal curtains. The bathroom was spacious with a standalone stone bath. During afternoons there is coffee, tea and cake available in reception near the pool. The restaurant, Shoga, has a veranda overlooking the gardens and pool, serves Japanese and Western options at reasonable prices, which is also where breakfast is served. The staff are very friendly and always greet you with a smile, they made our stay extra special. Rianti was especially helpful with securing us a taxi after ours was a no show, we're very grateful.

This is a hidden gem in Ubud. A lovely Balinese style hotel near the central, and they also provide the shuttle bus if you need. Multiple selections of breakfast served in room or restaurant, but enjoy the breakfast in room is definitely a leisurely chiose with privacy. It was my birthday during my stay, I didn’t tell, but they’re so sweet to celebrate for me. I am lucky that this is my first accommodation in Bali, I really fell I was welcomed and fell the enthusiasm of Balinese. Next time when I back to Ubud, definitely I will back here and stay longer.

A Truly Heartwarming Stay at Sapodilla! I was genuinely sad when it was time to leave Sapodilla! From the moment I arrived, I felt incredibly comfortable and genuinely looked after. The atmosphere is wonderful; everyone is so kind and always smiling, which made the experience so welcoming. The food at the hotel is absolutely exceptional. I especially loved the wide variety of breakfast options and the delightful Japanese dishes. Every meal was a treat! Overall, the hotel is a calm, clean, and peaceful sanctuary, yet it’s at an easy reach to everything the area has to offer. I highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to come back. Thank you!

What a lovely boutique hotel. Customer service was top notch family oriented. They were all very helpful and happy. Breakfast menu was great, you select menu and they cook it fresh. Rooms were big, beds comfortable and bathroom amazing. They give you free transport in the ubud area. We will be back a very lovely hotel.

Stayed 5 nights in this lovely little boutique hotel located in the heart of Ubud. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a refreshing drink and cool towel. The staff is very friendly and attentive and responsive on WhatsApp. They keep the hotel clean and our room was always stocked with spring water. Our stay included a breakfast which was great with lots of options to choose from. The hotel is located in a perfect area, close to lots of shops and restaurants. I can highly recommend this hotel to anyone interested in staying in Ubud.

This is the second time we have stayed at Sapodilla. The accommodation is tucked away from the Main Street but is walking distance to great restaurants. They also offer a shuttle to the heart of Ubud central which only took us 30 minutes to walk back. |The staff and service is exceptional, always friendly and accommodating. The pool was relaxing. We would recommend this place to couples with a serene and quaint setting. We felt very welcome and look forward to returning once again..
