The family went over there. There was a total of 18 people. We had a great time. Plenty of room. The kids really enjoyed the outdoor pool and the adults did too. Several people went out and slid down. Waterfalls ate at a local brewery now. I don't know where they drank beer or not. Couple and play tennis. Some play pickleball. I can just about say that a fine time was had by all.

We stayed at Fairway Forest. It has very nice accommodations, all newly remodeled with quarts counters and a huge shower and other high end furnishings. The pool and other amenities are 3 mile drive and the lake is about 2 minutes away. No kids allowed in the sauna or hot tub. Pools are heated. Very few stores if you need anything you have to drive an hour if dollar general or Ingles don't carry it.

Sapphire Valley is great! Right in the middle of the land of 1000 waterfalls, you've got mountains, rivers, lakes, waterfalls, and everything in between. Lots of good restaurants as well. I own property that is governed by the Master Association, So I'm somewhat of a fixture with them. I understand that it's tough to get people to come up the mountain to work when the cost of living up here is so high, but I do wish that the resort would do a better job of training their staff.

Please,Please do not use Sapphire resort. They are scammers, I paid off my loan, but was told I no longer have the time share any more, because of late payment of maintenance fee. But got mislead, was told the loan is more important than the maintenance fee. If you are in a time share of any kind, and want to get out, just stop paying on your maintenance

Best mountain getaway! We stayed at one of their townhomes and had the whole thing to ourselves! It was updated nicely and beautifully with more than enough room. We had access to the community amenities, which unfortunately was not within walking distance but was a short 4 minute drive away. The community complex had ping pong, indoor and outdoor pools, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, mini golf, tennis courts, and an arcade room. And of course the snow tubing was AWESOME! The kids love it. There’s no age restriction so our 2 year old was able to partake and had a blast. Definitely can’t wait to come back next winter!

Yelp
I have been coming here since I was 15. The area is absolutely gorgeous, the misty mountains painting a perfect backdrop for relaxation and golf, if you play. We are located in n the fairway forest , off i dont know what hole, but the views here are incredible. Our unit sleeps 6, is fully furnished and oh so comfortable!

Yelp
DO NOT GO HERE FOR ZIPLINING. The staff is so rude, the girl Dee was the most unhelpful person ever, and the facilities are underwhelming. We ended up going to Highlands Aeriel Park instead and had the best time. It is worth the drive and the additional costs to have an amazing day in Highlands vs this place.

Yelp
Great place for outdoor kids of all ages. Sapphire lake offers a 2 mile plus hike around the perimeter. Kayaks, canoes. Paddle boats and paddle boards are available. The lake is very clean an there is a beach and swimming area with diving platform , but the good swimmers can swim all over the lake as there are no large motor boats allowed . The resort offers a recreation center with indoor and outdoor pools as well as mini golf and gem mining. There is also a small ski area with a lift for winter fun. The property also has many waterfalls to hike to as does the surrounding area. Micas restaurant is good food at a reasonable price especially good is the pizza burgers sandwiches and salads. The carrot cake and chocolate cake are extraordinarily good for a restaurant. Lots of fun to be had st the resort and the area including Cashiers and highlands.
