Our family shared a big room with four beds in the east wing. Although the room is big, after fitting 4 single beds, there was little space to lay the luggage cases. The max we can open one big luggage case and one small. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay a lot. The bathroom is quite big. Beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was impressive! We tried both Japanese set breakfast and western buffet, both choices are first class. On top of it, the Carpark at the back of the hotel is mostly available. The staffs were very nice helping us with parking instructions. Although the price was also a premium price, I feel the choice for our family was made wisely, the money we spent was worth it. Last but not least, the hotel connects directly to the underground pathway to many places. Family travelers would love it.

The Sapporo Grand Hotel is an absolute gem that perfectly balances luxury and comfort. From the moment I stepped in, the hospitality was nothing short of exceptional—every staff member went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. The rooms are impressively spacious, providing plenty of room to relax after a day of exploring. The highlight for me was the large bathtubs, which were perfect for soaking away fatigue and indulging in some well-deserved relaxation. Breakfast at the hotel is a true culinary delight. The variety and quality of the dishes were outstanding, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients that cater to every palate. It was easily one of the best breakfast spreads I’ve ever had. Don’t forget to grab the bread at the front of the hotel before it’s sold out.

An Exceptional Stay at Sapporo Grand HotelI had the pleasure of staying at the Sapporo Grand Hotel recently, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. The location is perfect—centrally located, making it easy to explore all the major attractions of Sapporo. The hotel is only a short walk from Odori Park and Sapporo Station, which is a major convenience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed with the professionalism and warmth of the staff. The check-in process was smooth, and I appreciated the helpful staff who were eager to assist with any questions or requests. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities—such as the high-quality toiletries and a well-stocked minibar—really enhanced my stay. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches like a coffee machine and a cozy lounge area in the room.Dining at the hotel was another highlight. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, from traditional Japanese dishes to Western favorites. I also had dinner at one of the hotel’s restaurants, and the food was top-notch, with an impressive selection of fresh, high-quality ingredients. The hotel facilities were also excellent. The fitness center was well-equipped, and the on-site spa provided a relaxing way to unwind after a day of sightseeing.Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Sapporo. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, the Sapporo Grand Hotel provides a combination of comfort, convenience, and outstanding service. Highly recommended!

Everything about this hotel was perfect! I initially thought the building or rooms might feel old given the year it was completed, but I was completely wrong. The room was spacious, and while it’s a bit outdated, it was still very acceptable and comfortable. The bathroom was also roomy and well-maintained. The food selection was excellent, and the location is unbeatable! There’s a convenient underpass connecting the hotel to Sapporo Station, which was amazing for avoiding the cold. Plus, it’s right in the center of everything—opposite a Lawson and just 30 meters from a 7-Eleven. I’ll definitely stay here again if I’m ever in Sapporo! Highly recommend it!

Charming, Well-Maintained Historic Hotel with Excellent Accessibility We had a delightful stay at this 90-year-old hotel that has been impeccably maintained. The charm of its historic character is complemented by modern conveniences, making it an excellent choice for travelers. The hotel’s location is unbeatable—it is literally connected to the subway station. You don’t even need to come up to the ground floor to access the hotel, which is incredibly convenient for getting around the city. We took the Chitose Airport Bus direct to the airport for ¥1,300 - the bus stop is just outside the hotel. The staff were outstanding—polite, attentive, and helpful. They even went the extra mile to assist us with dinner reservations, which we truly appreciated. Our room was impressively spacious, allowing us to fully open two large suitcases with plenty of space to move around. The bathroom was well-sized and featured a lovely bathtub, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Modern amenities were a thoughtful touch, including USB charging ports conveniently located by the bedside tables and numerous power points for all our devices. These details made our stay even more comfortable. Overall, this hotel is a perfect blend of old-world charm, modern convenience, and excellent accessibility. Highly recommended for those who appreciate history, great service, and a strategic location!

The proactiveness of their Assistant Manager, Shigesato Nakano to find a solution upon our check in, prevented what could have been a disastrous stay at the hotel. ||Upon check in, we were allocated a smoking room on a smoking floor, by the hotel, as indicated by Agoda. Having made non such request, the condition of the initial room was highly unacceptable and unsuitable for a 5 nights stay from Dec 18-23, 2024.||It did take 2 hours for the hotel to find a resolution and we were assigned to another non smoking room, a family suite as it was the only room available.||Otherwise, the location of the hotel is excellent ( especially the underpass to the stations, subways and shopping areas), the upgraded room was comfortable, clean and great. Bfast was excellent too with the choices of Japanese cuisine ( Hokkaido) and Western options too. ||Airport coaches drops and pick up from the hotel (2 mins walk)||Thanks again to Shigesato for a great service recovery solution to the situation, ||With much gratitude and thanks.||Jonathan

A great hotel with lots of restaurants (that were fully booked during our stay). Easy walk to many attractions and convenient placement of cafe and Starbucks.Room was comfy but not very soundproof. The guests above us were very noticeable; lots of foot stomping and moving around from 7:00am which wasn’t ideal.Great shower, water pressure was brilliant and the bath products were good.

Fantastic location, convenient with walking distance underground to JR Sapporo. Friendly and attentive staff, though Check-In can take a while. Rooms a little dated but super clean and comfortable. Japanese breakfast was wonderful.
