A must-see for history buffs, Saqqara Necropolis is a wonderfully breathtaking location! The famous Step Pyramid of Djoser, a magnificent example of architectural genius, provides an amazing window into ancient Egyptian society. The tombs are incredibly captivating, vividly bringing history to life with their elaborate hieroglyphic decorations. The kind and helpful staff at this venue is what makes it unique and guarantees a pleasant and memorable visit. The visit is further enhanced by the area's superb upkeep and cleanliness. A professional guide can offer deeper insights and a smooth voyage through this amazing location, so for the ideal experience, think about hiring one and driving. Saqqara Necropolis is not just a visit—it’s an unforgettable journey through time.

A must visit site. You will see the first ever built pyramid. Shame thats it's not as famous as the giza pyramids. Recommend to get the all inclusive ticket to see and visit everything. You can enter the pyramid (with an extra fee), you don't wanna miss that. Also you can see tombs and check out the museum at the very end. Make sure you have water on you, no supermarket available there. Museum was very nice. You can get tour guides from there (also at an extra fee). There is a car parking.

The Saqqara Pyramids are a must-see if you’re interested in ancient Egyptian history. Less crowded than Giza, this site offers a more peaceful experience with incredible ruins and a deep sense of history. The Step Pyramid of Djoser is fascinating to see up close – it’s actually older than the Great Pyramid! The surrounding tombs and structures are also worth exploring, with beautiful carvings and impressive architecture. Be sure to bring water and wear comfortable shoes. A local guide really helps bring the place to life.

Giza gets all the attention Saqqara less so. The government is pouring a lot more effort in building up the tourism potential. The steps pyramid are the initial attempt to build the pyramids. This is where they started , by trial and error, how to build the massive structure that can endure.

Fascinating complex with lots to see. Was especially impressed by the Step Pyramid and the Pyramid of King Unas. Well worth a trip for any fan of Egyptian history.

Beautiful and historical place. Have the option to pay less if you are a student. is a big place to explore so is better enter and do all the route inside the park with the car. just be careful with the people who stay in front of the atractions and offer to explain because in the end they will ask to you pay( in Euro or dollar), easier to say that prefere to do alone

Fascinating visit, only marred by being pestered for money by those worked there, others just loitering by the tombs or sadly, by little girls while their mothers looked on. Bring plenty of water and ignore the beggars. It was very hot, even at Easter.
