Truly fascinating. Be aware like everywhere else - there are loads of tours/sellers that won't leave you alone. The trick is to keep walking and ignore, don't say anything not even no thanks and just walk. Probably the cleanest pyramid area in Cairo too but there's still stray dogs about.

Saqqara Necropolis منطقة آثار سقارة Is another beautiful part all the step pyramid. It is simply amazing at how old this complex is and how much is still left there. The sights and Views are simply amazing. It is unbelievable when you look at it how they built these structures and that time period with such precise detail and architectural design is on a grand scale. You could spend hours here staring at the work in craftsmanship it took to build it and amazement and you really don't see all the detail. I really recommend if you are in that you need to come to this site and see it!

Awestruck at this amazing experience. Not a tourist trap and the best thing is that you can do it on your own. It’s accessible, less crowded, well articulated and just gorgeous.

In order to understand why pyramids are built the way they are, you have to first visit the Step Pyramid in Saqqara. The discoveries are still on going and kudos to the Egyptian government, archeologists and all workers who are relentlessly working on the site to patiently uncover the mysteries of the Egyptian civilization from 5000 years ago.

Love this place. If the security or staff in this sacred temple bother you or are rude to you complain to me. I was there a few days ago and the staff inside the temple was very rude, shouting and it is not appropriate to behave this way. This is the oldest and the most incredible pyramide in Egypt near Cairo with amazing places to hide and enjoy meditation and prayer for peace in the world. Join me and my starseed family next time - we are doing it from time to time when we have at least 8 participants.

Fantastic, absolutely worth the visit. Make sure you get tickets for everything so you can go inside all the tombs and pyramids. Also get a driver (local Uber or taxi guy) it's a way out and a long walk from the ticket office to the site.

Amazing place and worth a visit! Different ticket types. Inclusive ticket is expensive (1000 EGP) but it offers a lot. You need a minimum of 4 hours to visit all the sites in the inclusive ticket even if you have your private driver that brings you from place to place. Very huge necropolis basically impossible to walk around without a driver or you need to spend 8 hours here. Live looks much better than on pics! Some annoying tomb guards ask for tips even if they do nothing for you, others at least take pics of you or give you a guided tour in the tomb they guard. Have some little money like 25 EGP / 0.5 EUR coins or just neglect them. No need to give tips for every beggar. They have a salary.
