We had a great brunch (prix fixe lunch) at Sarabeth’s. Very tasty eggs and French toast, and a delightful crostata. They were baby friendly too, with a nice high chair and reasonably priced kids menu!

Had the pleasure of dining at Sarabeth’s in Key West, FL and LOVED the food. Decided to enjoy another meal, breakfast/brunch. There was a minimal wait time, and we were shown to our table in the rear of the restaurant. This is key to our dining experience, the front part of the restaurant was rather humid and warm, and the rear section where we were seating is rather cooler. If visiting I would ask to seat in the rear of the restaurant for a much cooler dining experience. Total rate a 10/10.

My experience at Sarabeth’s Central Park South was excellent from start to finish. The location is unbeatable — right across from Central Park — giving you that classic New York atmosphere while you enjoy your meal. We ordered a variety of dishes: steak, salmon, pasta, and chicken fingers. The steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. The salmon was fresh and well-seasoned with a delicate texture. The pasta was rich and satisfying, with a sauce that tasted homemade. Even the chicken fingers — a simple dish — were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, showing that the kitchen puts care into every plate. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, with soft lighting that created a warm and intimate feel. Service was excellent — the staff were attentive without being intrusive, always making sure everything was perfect. In my opinion, the prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the food, the location, and the service. Whether you’re visiting New York or live here, Sarabeth’s Central Park South is a must-visit for a delicious meal with a beautiful view.

Sarabeth’s Central Park South is a popular brunch destination in New York City, known for its classic American fare and prime location steps away from Central Park. I recently visited for a late weekend brunch, and while there were some highlights, a few aspects fell short of expectations. We were seated after a short wait despite having a reservation, and the ambiance was charming—warm lighting, white tablecloths, and a bustling yet comfortable atmosphere. The service was polite but felt a bit rushed and inattentive at times, likely due to how busy the restaurant was. We ordered three brunch staples: an omelet, avocado toast, and the classic hamburger. The omelet was light and fluffy, filled with cheese and vegetables, but the flavor was somewhat muted—it could have used a bit more seasoning. The avocado toast was beautifully presented, topped with ripe avocado, poached eggs, and a drizzle of lemon and olive oil. It was fresh and satisfying, though the portion felt a little small for the price. The standout was the hamburger—it arrived juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked to our request, accompanied by crispy, golden fries that were a hit at the table. Prices were definitely on the higher end, even by NYC standards, which would be more justified if the food were slightly more memorable. That said, the Central Park South location does add to the appeal, especially for visitors who want a classic NYC brunch experience near major landmarks. Overall, Sarabeth’s offers a good brunch with some well-executed dishes and a prime location, but it might not live up to the hype for those seeking bold flavors or exceptional value. Worth trying once for the experience—but maybe not a go-to spot for regular weekend brunches.

Classic NYC breakfast spot with big portions and great quality — but pricey. We came here for breakfast and really enjoyed the food — everything was fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions. It’s definitely on the expensive side: breakfast for two adults and a child came out to around $150. There is a kids’ menu, but the staff didn’t mention it initially. We had to ask twice — only then did they provide it, which felt like an unnecessary effort for a family-friendly place. Still, a lovely spot for a classic New York breakfast near Central Park — just be ready to pay for the experience.

We sat here on a Saturday afternoon and didn’t wait a single minute for three of us. They had a dinner pre-fix menu for $50, which included almost every item on their alacarte menu. The burger was decent, the salad and meatballs were good, and the crostata was a great finish. Overall, it was a good experience, and it’s a great spot for people-watching.

We had a reservation for 9 AM, and when we arrived right on time, there was already a line stretching out the door. My husband asked the hostess if having a reservation gave us any priority, but she said no, we had to wait in line like everyone else. So we did. After about 10 minutes, when it was finally our turn, the hostess seemed completely lost. There were no available tables, even though we had a reservation, which should have guaranteed us a spot. We waited another 15 minutes in an overcrowded reception area until we were finally seated at the very last table, squeezed into the back of the restaurant. When our server came, we ordered coffee, two eggs benedict, and mentioned we’d like to try the French toast afterward. The eggs came out fairly quickly (in about 10 minutes), but the coffee never arrived. I’ve never seen a restaurant serve food before drinks, especially when the coffees were already prepared and just sitting on the counter. The server simply wasn’t bringing them. The cappuccino and eggs were fine, but nothing special. Then, when my husband called the waiter to order the French toast, he asked if we wanted the check. What kind of service is that? Yes, the place was packed and the staff seemed overwhelmed, but they should be trained to handle high demand, not push guests to leave. When the French toast finally arrived, it was dry, and flavorless (honestly the worst I’ve ever had). It felt like this place prioritizes volume over quality. I had noted in our reservation that it was for a birthday celebration, but that was completely ignored. Very different from other restaurants we visited during our trip to New York. Overall, it was not worth the price. We paid over $120 for a disappointing brunch that could have been so much better somewhere else. I don’t recommend it, the only good thing about this restaurant might be its location near Central Park.

A Perfect New York Welcome Breakfast at Sarabeth’s After a long overnight flight with two kids in tow, we were in desperate need of a comforting breakfast — and Sarabeth’s at Central Park South delivered exactly that and more. We arrived with high hopes (and hungry bellies), and the warm, classic NYC brunch vibe of Sarabeth’s instantly made us feel welcome. The staff were kind and attentive, even with our little ones running on zero sleep and 100% curiosity. We started our breakfast with the Avocado Benedict — perfectly poached eggs on a fluffy English muffin, creamy avocado, and a touch of heat from the tomato-jalapeño jam. It was rich, fresh, and flavorful without being too heavy. The Spinach & Goat Cheese Omelette was another win: light, fluffy, and filled with tangy cheese and vibrant greens — a perfect healthy yet satisfying dish. For our kids, breakfast became a morning adventure. The Child French Toast was golden, crispy on the outside and fluffy inside — exactly how it should be — with just enough sweetness to make our 7-year-old smile. The biggest surprise? The Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. Soft, citrusy, and just sweet enough — even we adults stole a few bites (okay, more than a few!). you can feel the New York energy while still enjoying a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. This was the perfect first meal in the city — comforting, high-quality food in a beautiful location with service that genuinely cares. Highly recommend for families, couples, or anyone looking to ease into New York with a perfect plate and a smile.

Yelp
What can I say!!! I'm an overwhelmed with the quality of the food and service. There have only been a few places I have weaned to review. This one stands out recently!!!! What an amazing place to have a wedding reception or organized function. Five stars!!!! Kudos to the staff and restaurant. Thank you for the great experience!!!!

Yelp
Sarabeth's was easy to find and exceeded all expectations! The food was fantastic, and the service was fast and friendly. They even have a charming flower wall that makes for the perfect photo op. I ordered Sarabeth's Pink Lemonade mocktail and added a splash of Tito's--just the right balance of sweetness and refreshment. For my meal, I went with the crispy buttermilk chicken sandwich served with fries. The jalapeño marmalade took it to the next level--absolutely incredible! Honestly, this might be one of the top three chicken sandwiches I've ever had. Next time I'm in New York, a return trip to Sarabeth's is a must!

Yelp
Showed up early, five to dine, The room felt stuck in '89. Omelette rich with Gruyère and leek, That English muffin? A highlight, so unique! But the pancakes missed the mark, And ten for water? That's a lark. The cappuccino came up small, For high-end fare, it missed the call. Two hundred bucks, and not quite grand-- Three stars feels fair, you understand.

Yelp
Really good breakfast. I had the eggs Benedict. The sauce is really creamy. The poached eggs were delicious. This meal inspired me to learn how to make eggs Benedict myself. I didn't come close to the flavor. Kind of hard to flag down service to get the bill and pay.

Yelp
It is our first time here, we stumble upon this beautiful establishment one night this past weekend with my family for dinner. We started with deviled eggs and meatballs. Followed by the main course chicken pot pie and blackened risotto. The kids got chicken fingers and fries however the photo never happened because they were so hungry and it was delicious. The service was up to far, considering we had 2 kids in tow. Our waitress/waiter was nice but they kept switching with us.

Yelp
I haven't had Sarabeth's in a hot minute. It was THEEEE brunch spot circa 2012-2014 and I haven't been since then... Nothing has changed. If you want an upscale brunch/lunch with dainty, feminine vibes, this is your spot. It's very expensive for what you get but the food is good. I've had better brunches, I've had way worse. It's good, and the ambience really adds to the experience. I had the apple cinnamon granola and the portion of yogurt it came with was a bit small. The popovers were baked fresh and I liked the preserves they came with.

Yelp
Had brunch here with a work colleague visiting on a Sunday afternoon and absolutely loved the atmosphere. Such a cute and classy place to dine, they have lots of seating inside as well as outside when the weather is nice. And central park is right outside. My work colleague had to make reservation in advance. Very much loved their buttermilk pancakes and it was so yummy. Sarabeth is known for their breakfast. And to top it off, I had some delicious sorbets that were so delicious.

Yelp
Stopped here for brunch on a Sunday morning, which was convenientl located next to the Central Park Ritz where we were staying. We made a reservation ahead of time, although our train was running late from CT, but they were nice enough to hold our reservation until we arrived. It was a good thing we had a reservation because they were quite busy and we would have been waiting awhile, but we were seated right away. First up- coffee always! I ordered an iced latte while I took a look at their extensive breakfast and lunch menu. I was in a breakfast mood so went with the garden omelette. My daughter followed in my lead ordering 2 poached eggs, toast and bacon. My son wasn't feeling breakfast so ordered the turkey club. He liked it, but was probably the least satisfied of the 3 of us so I'd say breakfast is the way to go. The service was fine. The food came out pretty fast, but took awhile to find our waiter to pay. Overall, a solid experience and conveniently located near our hotel. We left full and ready to take on a full day in Manhattan!

Yelp
I've been here a few times. I would say this is a good brunch spot, conveniently located next to Central Park. The portion sizes were big. My favorite dish was the lobster roll. It's going to be pretty expensive granted that it's right in the city and by Central Park. However it's not terribly devastating to your wallet. I would make reservations here beforehand as it can get very crowded . Good for large groups too.

Yelp
We were up earlier than planned so we headed to Sarabeth's right after they opened without a reservation and were able to get a table! I had never been so I wanted the traditional NYC experience. The place was really cute, bright and clean. I ordered a mimosa and the quiche with a side of bacon. I was surprised with the amount of bacon that I got. You can tell it was cooked previously but it was still warm and well cooked. The quiche was delicious. The ham and leeks were flavorful, the egg mixture was creamy and crust was buttery. I just wished the crust was a little less soggy. Service was super quick and you could tell they were trying to rush us through to get as many people in as possible. Overall I'm glad we went but not sure if we'll go back next time we're in NYC.

Yelp
Always a good breakfast! Usually stay at the Park Lane next door and eat here at least once each trip. Highly recommend! I love the spinach and goat cheese omelette and the eggs Benedict. Pancakes are good but nothing too special, still hit the spot though.
google avatar

Kim N.

Yelp
I dined here for both breakfast and dinner while in NY. Sarabeth is a very comforting and reliable meal. I felt like I was eating a nice home cooked meal inside a fancy restaurant. For dinner, the chicken pot pie was a highlight! It was so delicious, flaky and warm. I also did love the beef and goat cheese salad. It was beautiful plated and tasted full of flavors. I would skip the chimichuri steak as it was quite dry. For breakfast the lemon ricotta pancakes were delicious and the rest of the meal felt home cooked. Overall if you're looking for a simple delicious meal, I'd stop here!

Yelp
Nice brunch just in front of Central Park. It is a bit pricy but the portions are very generous ! The decoration inside is nice The menu offers classic brunch meals. I ordered the garden omelette with a tea and a fresh orange juice. It was good but really fulfilling ! I could not finish my place I assume the place is crowded during weekends, therefore, I recommend to go during weekdays if possible
google avatar

Zachary L.

Yelp
We had a reservation for the end of restaurant week so we avoided the line. However, despite the website saying they did restaurant week menus on the weekend, we were never given the option. Strike one. Strike two was the service: we felt rushed the whole meal (unsurprising given the growing line outside): but within 2 minutes of sitting down our waiter came over and brusquely wanted to know what we wanted to eat. Strike three was the price - $30 for eggs is a bit rich, even for NYC. Gluten free options were severely limited as well: there were no options for pastries or other items to be subbed out or replaced with a gluten-free option. My partner was relegated to replacing her potatoes (cross-contaminated, so not gluten free) with a salad: and had to talk the waiter out of upcharging her for the pleasure.

Yelp
I did not take pictures...sorry... We went with a group dinner for around 40 people. I had the salmon entree and I asked for medium rare. It was well done. They gave me another piece which was a tad less well done but way too well done for me. The salad appetizer had way too much lemon and was also inedible to me. I ate downtown at a Sarabeths last spring and it was much better. Sometimes group dinners get overcooked. I'll keep that in mind and try it another time as a twosome. Service was impeccable.
google avatar

Yelp
Good food, attentive wait staff, but a bit overpriced. The bacon was superb. Muffins very good. Four flowers juice is really a thick nectar that needs to be combined with water if you aren't getting it in a cocktail. Would return for a special brunch, but can't justify the price for a standard brunch out.
google avatar

Laken B.

Yelp
Love the location! Across the street from Central Park! The food was good. We had great seating by the window to enjoy the busy sidewalks. There was a wait over 20 mins which caused us not to be able to eat brunch. However, a few of the brunch items are still offered all day. The older hostess was very nice. However, the waiter and the server who brought out the plates were not very friendly. Once the food was ordered and brought out, we didn't get checked on until we got the attention of the server for the check. We felt as if we were bothering the servers to sit in his section. Granted it's the holiday season and it's busy, a little holiday cheer would of been great to add. Especially considering the pricing. We ordered cocktails too. With the exception of the older female host, the staff all seemed annoyed and not very friendly which is as unfortunate. My stars are based on the food. Otherwise, the remainder of the experience I would of rated it lower.

Anusha J.

Yelp
The food was impeccable and the restaurant was beautiful. Everything we ordered tasted amazing and had so much flavor. Not to mention it was plated with care and perfection because everything looked so beautiful.

Yelp
This Sarabeth's Central Park South serves food that tastes fresh and flavorful. The team adjusted to our preferences and maintained professionalism. The food quality was simply amazing. The place delivers on comfort, hygiene, and aesthetics. My repeated meals here have all been enjoyable.

Yelp
4.5 / 5.0 Sarabeth's on 59th St. There are both indoor and terrace seating, Atmosphere to enjoy a relaxing morning or lunch. The French toast is hearty and goes well with maple syrup. The service was great, they took care of everything! Strollers can be checked in at the reception, They have high chairs so you can enjoy it with your kids! This is one of those places that I would love to take my friends when they come to New York City. What I ordered was: ・Fat & Fluffy French Toast ・Iced latte
google avatar

Yelp
disgustingly overcrowded and overpriced when i came which was on saturday! never again ahaha. when i asked the waiter for recommendations, he proceeded to name all the lost expensive things on the menu like the lobster ravioli. while i understand getting ur bag and can respect that, it seemed a bit fishy to me and needless to say a bit rude as well. the service was also not the friendliest. it felt like he was trying to rush us out of our seats asap to sit the next party. i know the line is out the door but sometimes you just want to enjoy a weekend brunch on your own time??? they also sat us in the outdoor dining area which had some nice lighting but was right next to all the passerby's who were entering, exiting, and waiting to be sat. kind of unpleasant. the tables were also very close together. the bathroom line was astronomical. i ended up going nearby outside to the girls room there. the food was pretty good but not worth the experience; the fiscal price and mental exhaustion.
google avatar

Juliet M.

Yelp
Worst service ever experienced. The food was tasteless and bland. The ambiance was not good it was stuffy, hot and you couldn't move in the place. The hosts were rude. We waited 2 hours and watched at they sat other walk ins before us and we had a reservation. Do NOT go!! The place next door, Gabriel's was so much better with the food and service. I recommend Gabriel's if in the vicinity.

Yelp
Great location across from Central Park. Staff was friendly. Our server was prompt however we had to ask for more coffee. My Farmer's omelet was delicious! I chose the scone to go with it. It was excellent. My 7 yr old had the pancakes. He loved them. My husband had a popover and scramble. He enjoyed it but was surprised the popover was cold. Very nice atmosphere with delicious food.

Cindy K.

Yelp
Dirt in the greens served with smoked salmon is appalling and could've cracked a tooth. I see they do not wash the greens! No manager came to the table to apologize, but hid behind the nice server instead. I guess they saved me from that poor quality lox (Tartinery puts this one to SHAME).The place is VERY tight and has a smelly egg stench in the air. The place is run by greedy people who'll place a chair in the very trafficked aisles to make a two top a three top so not to sacrifice a four top. They make tons of money for nothing and are driven by greed. The comfort level is a zero, the bare minimum. The chairs are rock hard and no room for your legs, even for our child! When my kid ordered the kids pancakes, they charged two dollars for one ounce of Nutella! The servers did not come refill our glasses of water, nor did they check up on us. A tiny cup of coffee is $5! Their three dollar signs is worth $0.50! Avoid this place.
google avatar

Karina A.

Yelp
I got the miso salmon and it was really juicy and flavorful. I love the miso sauce however $40 for this was a lot of money. I don't think it was worth it due to the portion size. Only reading this four out of five because the price was really expensive for the amount of quantity that I have received. Otherwise, the staff was super nice and it was cute inside. However, I also did have truffle fries, which were amazing and definitely would've ordered that again

Yelp
Food was great service was good for the location. Definitely is a good spot if you're planning to be in Central Park area .. Ambience is calm ..

Vanasha D.

Yelp
As an avid customer at Sarabeths, Central Park is my favorite, if you have visit any other the space is a bit smaller than the others but the food and the service is consistent overall. Visited to brunch for my sister birthday and if was a good time, we had the pancakes, French toast, apple sausages, eggs, coffee and cheese cake for dessert. The portions are pretty large so I always leave with a take out bag (lol) this restaurant has been a constant in my life and they've never disappointed me. I suggest when visiting this location to make reservations because it gets really busy.

Yelp
Every time I come to New York I always look for the right restaurant to eat and with good service . Today this restaurant was on my list.. the food was amazing and the gentleman's that served my table " Daniel & Jorge " were just great ..Made my family feel so welcome, but I will say that one of the managers named America a young lady at the front desk was very rude, unprofessional and unwelcoming while waiting for our table and after being seated ..BAD service she offered to the customer. Had to leave this review for the restaurant best interest..
google avatar

Kate F.

Yelp
I ordered takeout from here while staying in the city. The portion was generous, but the "side salad" was a few pieces or limp greens. The eggs with salmon and cream cheese were delicious, as was the popover. Because it was takeout I can't comment on the staff or service, but the space itself was lovely

Yelp
Ordered: Smoked Salmon Benedict (~$29): hollandaise, peppers, chives, and served with local greens Fat & Fluffy French Toast (~$28): with strawberries Iced Latte (~$6): with oat milk Aya's take: There's no way around this - it's average. The name & location probably brings in more patrons than usual but it's certainly not for the quality or taste of the food. We had a reservation yet had to wait about 15 minutes before we were seated. Both dishes we got were decent but not great. The Smoked Salmon Benedict tasted a bit fishy but the eggs were cooked perfectly. I also enjoyed the greens on the side. The English muffin they use is also a bit unique; it's more buttery and flaky than your typical English muffin. The Fat & Fluffy French Toast was a bit too eggy; dousing it with syrup helped but you shouldn't have to do that for a good French toast. All in all, it was a good try but I probably wouldn't come back.

Yelp
Love Sara Beth's conveniently located on Central Park South between the Plaza and Ritz Carlton. Great for breakfast and lunch. Reservations available online. We ate in the bright garden room with the wisteria above. I chose the basic breakfast with scrambled eggs and applewood bacon. My partner chose eggs Benedict. Coffee is bottomless. A great choice when you're in the city.
google avatar

Aarti G.

Yelp
I wasn't able to get a reservation for 9:30 but it didn't take too long to get a table for 2 people. Our waitress was friendly. We both ordered cappuccinos which were so good and creamy. I got quiche which came with a side salad. I also ordered a scone on the side which came with cream and jam. I think the jam was apricot. The salad was tangy and not too heavily dressed. The scone wasn't too dry and I enjoyed both the cream and jam. My friend got lemon ricotta pancakes which she liked. She said it didn't have enough syrup but they were happy to bring more.

Cherie G.

Yelp
I LOVE this place! I always come here for my birthday It's a great location. I usually sit indoors, but you can sit outside right by Central Park, how can you beat that? We always get an egg dish then share pancakes or French Toast. The salmon eggs Benedict was DIVOON! Service was great. I had reservations, and seated right away. Great NY VIBES!
google avatar

Yelp
We had a reservation for a late breakfast and were seated right away. It was very crowded, unsure if that's normal or not so I would recommend a reservation then. The entire ceiling was covered in greenery and just looked so adorable. Our service was very good, no complaints. The food was awesome! I am not a huge breakfast person, but I really liked all of our meal. We got a quiche and an omelette to share. Both were very yummy. The coffee I got was also good. I really liked the jam they served with the bread, so much so that I bought a jar to take home.
google avatar

Lindsay A.

Yelp
Came for breakfast on a week day with no reservation and were seated immediately. It was crowded but manageable. The service was very quick, almost too quick! I got the wild mushroom scramble which was really good, if you like truffle. My sister had the farmers omelette which she described as unremarkable and a bit dry. Also a little pricey but you expect that being next to Central Park
google avatar

Yvette K.

Yelp
Beautiful surroundings. Light and airy. Nice atmosphere and the food is basically breakfast fare with a few add ons Nothing really jumped out at me flavor wise but all was good we ordered French toast, goat and scallion omelet and popover mushroom and egg The popover I envisioned was filled with the ingredients instead it was mushroom and egg scrambled with a popover instead of toast The coffee maker wasn't working but the espresso was so we ordered cappuccino and that was excellent

Yelp
Sarabeth's remains a classic for quality and service. You may spend slightly more here, but the quality of the ingredients and comfortable setting justify it. We didn't have reservations. We were able to show up on a Wednesday evening at 7pm and were quickly seated. This is white tablecloth service, but does not have a strict dress code. Corporate casual seems to be the standard with more casual around the brunch hours. The drink menu is more extensive than they have posted online. It also seemed possible to modify and order what you liked, within reason. Cocktails were about $16 a piece and were balanced with unique combinations. Our waiter was very helpful in letting me know that my mostly deboned and butterflied roasted chicken would take 30 minutes to come to the table. I started with the tomato soup ($18), while my friend's salmon came to the table shortly afterwards. The soup was absolutely delicious Although creamy, it was not heavy. The Murray's Roasted Chicken ($35) was the star of the night, however. The roasted chicken was so tender; my knife cut through it like butter. The jus on it helped to hydrate the crispy skin and blended nicely with the puree. I was so happy to have enough of this left over to enjoy the next day. We finished by splitting a massive ice cream cookie ($8). I'm fairly certain a person could make a meal out of this. This was a simple vanilla ice cream wedged between two palm sized, hard chocolate chip cookies. While I enjoyed this, I think I would have liked something like a Thin Tate's cookie on the outside and a stronger Tahitian vanilla ice cream. Or perhaps lace cookies with a coconut ice cream or German chocolate. People coming here like their classics. I do feel dessert was an area that they could elevate and surprise more. I do look forward to returning one morning for their basket of popovers!

Yelp
Honestly - never going back. I always walk by this restaurant and the brunch looks good and delightful. Well I went for dinner and well, 1 star and that's because the chips and guacamole with crab was great! I ordered a chicken potpie and as you can see this looks like slop. I ordered online at 6:08pm, the restaurant followed up and said that I would receive a notification when my food was ready. Time went by and no text, I called around 6:50pm - the hostess that answered the phone said my food was ready and had been sitting for a while. I walked over and she checked the food then sat it on the counter instead of handing it to me directly. The customer service at this place clearly was lacking. I get back to my hotel and there are no utensils, no napkins, nothing just the food. Never again, Sarabeth's.

Will P.

Yelp
I had such a nice time at Sarabeth's this past weekend! I had previously been to a different location and I loved the Central Park vibes and ambiance of this one. The service was incredible and quick. The food was amazing and it was a great bite to eat on a nice day! I would definitely recommend if you're looking for someone to eat after a morning of 5th Ave shopping!

Yelp
I can't go to New York and not go for a grilled cheese and tomato soup. That tomato soup is probably the best thing I've ever tasted. Creamy, chunky, fresh, and just so tasty. The grilled cheese is on a pretzel bun with a few different kinds of cheese. Warm and lovely. We sat outside across from Central Park. Beautiful day. Service was perfect. I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Great food! Great atmosphere! Service was less than great, but would go back again! Our waiter didn't pay a ton of attention to us and forgot stuff, but maybe they were short handed, so giving grace! Food was worth it!

Yelp
The food, service, and ambiance were all outstanding. Everything was elegant and the service exceptional. Because this place was literally steps from our hotel, we walked over for brunch. It was a quarter after 11 am on a Saturday, so it was packed! We were told there was a 30 minute wait, however we didn't even wait 10 minutes when they seated us! So a huge plus! They brought us water and drinks, then took our orders quickly. So exceptional was the service that no sooner had we put our order in, the servers all came out at the same time with everything! We ordered the Lemon ricotta pancakes with fresh blackberries and a generous side of bacon, the Breakfast Bowl, the wild mushroom popover omelette, and sparkling water, as well as the Four Flowers smoothie!

Yelp
This place is delicious. Great location near all the best shopping and The Plaza and right across from Central Park. We didn't realize how popular it was and were able to get in on a Saturday morning for brunch within 25 minutes and snag a nice patio seat. Our waiter was very busy, but good and we ordered the lobster roll with fries, a veggie omelet and a smoothie. Prices are high-ish but not any different from the rest of the city and the food was very good. My veggie egg omelet had cheese, peas, scallions and zucchini and was served with a small side of greens, and a warm muffin of choice. I chose banana. It was served with fresh butter and delicious house-made berry jam that they sell inside. SO good! My husband's lobster roll was phenomenal and he loved it. He subbed fries for the chips and it was a large and generous portion of fries. I ordered the smoothie - pineapple, orange, banana and cranberry. Small and expensive for $15 but delicious and fresh and refreshing. They are popular and busy - but service was prompt and we didn't wait a long time for our food and our busy waiter did a good job of taking good care of us. All in all - great spot for people watching and great food. Win!

Yelp
Conveniently located, but the interior needs to be updated. The service was ok, but not particularly spectacular. The dishes exceeded my expectations a little and I enjoyed how fluffy the pancakes were. The pop over could have had slightly more salmon, but it was pretty tasty and the eggs were also perfectly cooked. Still a bit expensive for brunch, but I guess that's partly because of being next to central park south. $28 for pancakes seriously?

Yelp
Sarabeths has been around for a very long time and is hotspot that sits between major hotels and Central Park. If you're looking for classic old New York, this is the place for you. However, should you want more bang for your buck I would have to recommend elsewhere. Taste: 2.5/5 Service: 4/5 Value for Money: 2/5 Ambience: 4/5 We had: 1) Seafood gumbo (16) - Not recommended. Unfortunately should not be considered a meal. It uses rock shrimp and perhaps 2oz of rice. Admittedly shocked to see the portion. As for the taste itself, it is unfortunate to have to say it tasted like leftover lentil soup. 2) Sarabeths signature sirloin burger (29) - the burger on the flip side had great flavour to it. This would be a recommended choice, the fries were skinny 3) Orange juice (14) - a glass of orange juice was 14. No alcohol, just plain ol 14 bucks for juice. Think of 8oz of your best Tropicana in glassware Not sure if I could say I would be back. Greedflation is very real.

Yelp
I walked bye here the other day looking for lunch options with my friend. And we decided gave it a try ...we weren't that impressed. The place is actually really beautiful and everyone who works here are super nice. Now the food not so much in my opinion.I had the lobster roll it had so much stuff in there besides lobster I was so upset. At almost 35 dollars I had better ones at Luke's lobster. The chips were hard and cold. My friend had the burger she said it was like a regular burger nothing spectacular. And so sarabeth's was okay but not for the price.

Yelp
Best tomato soup of my life!!! My friend and I stopped in for a late lunch and we were seated right away by the window. The restaurant was pretty empty which was surprising. We both got the adult grilled cheese which was three cheeses on pretzel bread served with a bowl of creamy tomato soup with large chunks of tomatoes and a side/pile of bread and butter pickle chips on the side. We barely spoke to each other because we were too busy giggling over how amazing the food was!! 5 stars for the food and ambiance! The rest of the menu looked great as well. Prices were high but felt worth it.
