Sarakiniko Beach is absolutely breathtaking — like stepping onto another planet! The white volcanic rocks shaped by wind and sea make the whole landscape feel surreal, and the contrast with the turquoise water is unreal. It’s great for photos, swimming, and just soaking up the unique vibe of the place. Tip: go early or near sunset to avoid the crowds and get the best light. Parking is close by, just a short walk down to the beach.

Beautiful beach, very charming and atypical. The way down is safe and there are no steep cliffs but if you on the rocks next to the beach, it could get a bit more dangerous with more cliffs. Swimming in the beach is great and the water is warmer. Highly recommend spending an hour or so here.

Sarakiniko, Milos, is an otherworldly destination that captivates all who visit. The "moon-like" landscape, with its wind and water-sculpted white volcanic rock, is truly breathtaking. It's a photographer's paradise, offering endless opportunities for stunning shots, especially during sunrise or sunset when the light paints the stark white stone with warm hues. The contrast of the brilliant white against the deep blue of the Aegean Sea is simply mesmerizing. Beyond its visual appeal, Sarakiniko is a place to create memories. It’s perfect for a romantic stroll or a tranquil moment of reflection. The smooth, wave-carved rocks invite exploration, and the small coves provide perfect spots for a refreshing dip. Whether you're an avid photographer or just seeking a unique and serene experience, Sarakiniko is an absolute must-see on any trip to Milos. It's more than just a beach; it's a geological wonder and a memory-making masterpiece.

Today morning was like a museum which was around 10.30 am at 4th August. It was very very crowded that it seems like public sauna for me. Yes the rocks and their formation above the sea is different and nice but i guess there is nowhere to swim although there are many nice beaches in Milos. If you like jumping, you can jump from the cliffs and it was also very crowded where there are many people in the sea that you can’t jump easily. İ mean you can just visit, take pictures in August but not a place to spend many hours or swimming.

Big cliff for the adventurous! It is safe to jump or even flip like i did but be careful!… lots of people and the waters are rough most of the times so make sure to check where the wind is coming from.

Tons of picturesque locations of the beach and white rock landscape. There's a path down towards the beach where you can chill out, watch tiny fishes and some small caves where you can explore

This place in unbelievable, stunning landscapes and beautiful crystal clear water. We spent all day here and didn’t get bored. We hired two scooters and drove from the port town, super easy and only about 20min. Heaps of rocks to park up on and sunbake, with heaps of rocks to jump off from. The water is super deep and actually quite warm. Also really beautiful from underwater so bring a mask!! It gets quite busy so definitely come early, we arrive at 8:30am and there was already a lot of people there. Although the place is so big even when it’s packed it still feels big enough!!

This place is really cool and definitely worth a visit, but I feel it’s a bit overrated, no? I went at around 930am one day and it was so crowded I turned around and tried another spot. The next day I got there by 730am and it was much quieter although still quite a few people there. It’s definitely moon like and lovely but just feel like it’s super hyped up.
