i’m mexican american, born and raised around some of chicago’s best tacos. GOOD and AUTHENTIC mexican food is surprisingly hard to find in this beautiful and historically puerto rican neighborhood, but i was surprised at the sheer quality and taste of home that Sara’s provided me with today. service was to the point, tacos were delicious. came during taco tuesday and had the al-pastor and carnitas. meat was traditionally seasoned to perfection, and the carnitas were juicy and the perfect blend of lean/fat. ALL THREE SALSAS WERE ON POINT, which is rare!! they include fried CHIPS and tortilla chips. for the price, they are the best tacos money can buy in all of humboldt park. highly recommend this joint, it doesn’t get enough love.

A great family restaurant where the owners are always there. Great food, amazing and the people are super cool. Im going almost 2 times a week. Food is amazing and super economic. Pizza and a soda for $5.50 is unheard off now a days.

Dined-in for dinner and everything was great! Staff are so kind and the food is delicious (and affordable!) The menu is so big, I’ll definitely be back to try more. I had the steak quesadilla.
