Saravana Bhavan

A nice place, I wish they would modernize a bit a call out the actual vegan dishes on the menu. Despite this lack of having a perfect menu, the waiter did assure me that the dish was in fact vegan. I expect more from vegetarians…this dosa was, probably the best I’ve ever had.

We were on a trip in Bangkok, and after two days of eating international cuisine in the hotel, we’re craving for good Indian food, and Sarvana Bhavan is most dependable always especially for great South Indian food .. the restaurant in Silom served us great food, excellent customer service .. must visit if you are in Bangkok !! The serve the food very quick and the food is amazing,

The quality of food has gotten better and it's more authentic now. Had ghee pongal and medhu vada. Vada was not soft enough, coconut chutney was not spicy enough.. Sambar was delicious.. THE SONG WAS TOO LOUD.

UPDATE: so my friend and I decided to come here after we had some appetizers and another vegetarian restaurant nearby we decided to walk here to have the famous Ghee Dossa & try some Indian Chinese food as well so we decided to order it chili cauliflower!!! Omg 😱 so good!! 😊 all of it was very good, because I like my food spicy I had to order green chilies on the side which my friend was like oh my God how can you do this! Highly recommend this place if you want some good dosa’s!! I love dosa's, idly, sambar, vara and the use of coconut chutneys. I love that is isn't so oily and red (from over use of the Tandoori masala) Any way .... the food just kept on coming and it was all so so good! We have had such a vast variety of the food we had ordered from their extensive menu. rom the thais, to the dosas and much more .. all was very good. It has the best ambience among all the Sarvanaa Bhavana’s we visited .. food is always good. I loved the Mini Thali. Service was a bit slow may be due to the heavy rush. Floor Manager was trying his best to be attentive to the service. Always recommend SB for those who miss home food away from India.

I recently visited this branch in Bangkok, and it was a disappointing experience compared to other locations. The staff seemed distracted and prone to errors—first, I received a completely wrong order, and then my dosa was served undercooked, with a batter that still looked far too fresh and unprocessed. The taste of the food was lacking, falling short of the standards I’ve come to expect from other branches around the world. Overall, this visit left much to be desired.

The southern Indian food is simply delicious. I have tried dosa, biryani, and palak paneer. Overall the quality of food is good. The staffs are more than welcoming - checking us frequently that everything is ok. Though the vegetarian food is not my cup of tea, the restaurant service and food quality is sufficient 😀 Thanks, will come back for dosa.
