Mumbai's iconic place for Pav Bhaji. Ordered Butter Pav bhaji, tastes good. pav and bhaji has loads of butter. Place is very busy and we waited for 20 mins for the order. served with two pavs, bhaji, papad, onions and lime. service is good. Overall a must visit place.

Worst! Pav bhaji ever I have tried, this is the first time I visited to this place for the late night dinner with my cousins and it was horrible experience for us. I need to asked them to give some pav from butter. I have always heard in my childhood this pav bhaji restaurant served best pav bhaji of Bombay. However, after tried their pav bhaji, I thought I was the happiest person who has not tried till now. But it was my bad day that someone took me on this place to try their garbage.

Butter heaven. Tastes awesome. Proper taste of Mumbai street food. The servers are smiling and go out of their way to make your experience good. If you are on a diet this place is not for you. Come if you need a slice of paradise

Wanted to visit Sardar Pav bhaji as it is one of the best pav bhaji in Mumbai. I Traveled during my visit here and it was looooong Q even at 10PM I had to wait for 40min to get a table for 5. Menu is simple cheese pav bhaji and butter pav bhaji.. we ordered that ... and OMG it was extra loaded in Butter. Is it butter on pav bhaji of Pav bhaji in butter .. service was fast and pav bhaji was good. In desserts we had chocolate mousse and caramel custard both were good in taste. Post that we had paan which was the coldest paan I ever had. Good to go. Once in a while you must try this famous pav bhaji

Sardar Pavbhaji: I had a chance to visit this famous Pavbhaji joint. It seems really hyped pav bhaji with no special or great taste. The only taste is of Amul Butter. They put about 20/30 gm butter in 1 dish. Normally you have to wait in a queue. Service speed is average. They don't serve any other main dish than Pavbhaji. Also had paan/Vida outside. Calcutta Masala costs 40 rupees a piece but not at all worth it. The coconut inside was too dry. There is no parking nearby. Chocolate Mousse is also very basic, doesn't go as a mousse but simply as some chocolate dessert.

The taste of this pav bhaji is average for a Mumbaikar. The ambiance is good, though it tends to be crowded. There’s a bit of a waiting time, but that’s manageable. The prices are slightly on the higher side; we have ordered a basic Amul Pav Bhaji costs ₹190, and an extra two pieces of buttered pav will set you back ₹40. If you’re a Mumbaikar, you might not find the taste particularly appealing, as it caters more to newcomers in the city. Having explored several places in Mumbai for authentic pav bhaji, my expectations for this one were quite high, but the taste turned out to be just average. In my opinion, this place is overhyped and overrated. For a truly authentic pav bhaji experience in Mumbai, I recommend the following places: Sadanand Coffee House, Worli Hotel Nanda, Dadar

My first time trying this on my first visit to Mumbai. Not worth trying. First it is not tasty. The bhaji too acidic , I just cannot understand the hype. Just acidic and salty. Pav is soft, and I would rather eat the pav alone. Btw, for what appears to be a street food in a steaming hot restaurant, it is not cheap at all.

I had this Pav Bhaji first time around 20 years back and that memory made me go back to this place one more time while I was visiting Mumbai. However the taste now is really substandard and is exorbitantantly priced. If you go try ordering 1 plate per 2 people since the quantity is quite good.
