Saren Indah Hotel & Restaurant

We enjoyed our stay at this boutique hotel decorated in a traditional Bali style. The rooms were of a good size and the surroundings were serene and quiet. The lush natural style landscape made you feel like you escaped the city, but the location was perfect and close to the center of town. The street itself has tons of eating places in walking distance. And the pool was great to cool off in. The best was the staff! Ari and her staff make you feel welcome and Ari was always quick to respond to any email with inquiries. I will definitely come back here and highly recommend anyone looking for a cute hotel that doesn't break the bank. Another thing that stood out from others: they provided a big water bottle in the room with an electronic pump. This made refilling our water bottles so easy.

Stayed at Saren Indah for 5 nights, as I needed this location to attend a course, and had an absolutely good time. Super convenient, breakfast was great (fresh fruits and juice everyday), kind local owner and superb vegetation. Super well taken care garden with a variety of lotus flowers, different water lilies, hibiscus and frangipanis everywhere, and so much more. Surrounded by rice fields. The rooms are nice and have all the amenities you would need. Some claim that it is old but I find it charming and love the darker wooden furniture and ceiling. Pretty quiet, even though it is very centrally located. Will come back if I need to stay around that area. Bonus: you may have some monkeys playing near the cafe area, you can just enjoy and see them jumping and playing around.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel in such a great location. Away from the hustle and bustle of central Ubud but plenty of really lovely local restaurants and shops. So peaceful and we enjoyed watching the birds and local monkeys play. We even saw fireflies from our balcony! The staff here are so lovely and attentive. The breakfast is good and there is a little on sites restaurant too. Big beautiful rooms,clean and spotless. Even a bathtub to relax in and gaze across the paddy fields towards the monkey Forrest. All amenities including tea coffee, soaps and shampoo and a big water bottle in the room to use (6ltr?) Excellent and hope we an stay again one day. 🙏

Loved this hotel. It’s family run and I really liked that. While it’s very close to the centre of Ubud (10 minute walk past the monkey forrest) it’s very quiet and peaceful. The rooms overlooked a beautiful pond and rice paddy’s. The rooms were very spacious and the bed was really comfortable. We also enjoyed the breakfast, the banana pancakes were the best we had in Indonesia. Finally the staff were so friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again next time we are in Ubud.

This was our 1st stay in Bali and we liked, then we changed to other locations from island and felt in live with that. The location is wonderful, often you can take breakfast with monkeys, sanctuar beeing over the road. The area is so close to ubud, but so quiet, you can find everything along the street and staff is fantastic. I would recommend this location 100%, the staff and location is much more than great, even the room isn't great, that doesnt matter comparing with the feeling that you have.

The site is in an exceptional location, 30 mins walk from central Ubud, and 10 mins from the Monkey Forest. It is however at the end of a street in a quiet area, which allows for a great overnight sleep.||We joined the cooking lessons, including the local market visit, which was great. We cooked 6 local dishes that we had to eat after the lesson… needless to say, we could not finish it all! We also eat various days in the restaurant and the food was really good, at a great price. ||The pool is not very big, but is clean and nice for relaxing and cooling down after a long day out. The rooms are ample, clean and comfortable with mosquito nests to protect from insects. Having said that there were not many around.|||The Hotel is surrounded by rice fields, with breathtaking sunrises. Worth weaking up a bit earlier to see this before going out for the day.||The owners of the hotel were brilliant. They helped us to arrange a doctor’s visit and looked after my daughter very well preparing some special food for her. They went beyond expectations and we will always be grateful to them for that

Booked 6 stayed for 2.||The hotel needs a good clean and maintenance. Basics like the shower curtain being full of mould is just disgraceful. ||Staff in reception really poor and unhelpful. ||Monkeys unmanageable and walk up the stairs and roof. ||If you expect a restaurant or yoga ... it won't happen. ||Breakfast passable.

My stay at Saren Indah was exceptional in every way. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and excellent service. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to assist. The hotel was spotless, with cleanliness being a clear priority. The beautiful and lush surroundings provided a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle. The food was also fantastic, with a variety of delicious options. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!
