Here’s my honest review after staying here for almost a year. 1. The location: It’s located at busy place in kuta, close to the bar, cafes, clubs. Just a minute away, yes you can walk to those hype area. Really close to the beach, I used to do run at kuta beach every morning. I reallly loveee the location. 2. Price: Surprisingly really cheap compare to other guest house or rent house around kuta. 3. Service: Really great, the room get cleaned once a week. Sometimes not really clean (like the balcony still has some dust like they forget to clean it or something) but mostly I back home to a clean and fresh room and new bed covers. 4. The staff: Really helpful. Smiling. However, some staff do gossiping other tenant to other tenant. I heard this many times from my room since I work from home, it just disrespectful. But the others are really nice. 5. Facility: - They have pool but I never try that since there’s (almost everyday and night) a one guy staying side the pool make me uncomfortable to swim there. (I guest i’m the private-pool type of person). - The kitchen provided with chiller (not in good condition) and free stove so we can cook anytime we wants. That’s a super plus points because the rent is already cheap and you still get this facility for free. - Parking area is big and has cctv camera. If you have a problem, just check cctv for proof. - My room has big fan, aircon, water heater, big shower room (it’s my favorite) with shower space, wastafel, toilet, and a big mirror. It has make up table, wardrobe and one other table under the TV. I rent the balcony ones so I get other outdoor table and two chairs. - Electricity: It was good before until it always drop down because people use electric more than their room can handle. Last 2 months, it always drop like 7 times in less than an hour. One room has aircon, refrigerator, electric stove. Usually cheaper products needs more voltage. Hopefully they fixed it now. - Garden: So beautiful, they manage to cut it every season and watering it well. It such the real hidden gem in kuta. The best paart, it’s pet friendly. My dear two furry cats enjoying staying there, playing also with other cat and doggo. 6. Neighborhood: When I want to rent at that place I’ve been told they not accept family. However, I’ve neighbor who are family with two kids. And the couple ‘who-makes-family’. Sometimes there’s chaos from the other rooms, couple fighting each others (almost every month they fight), but it’s fun for me making for fun of this couple. 😂 Just like people with so many characters, I met friends who are nice, a person who act nice but talk behind, and a bad person. My advice, just ‘trust your self’ their drama not even worth your time. 7. The owner is really nice and helpful. I hope these honest review help people who looking for new place to stay in Bali. All good staying here, If I get different room I probably can give 5 stars 😂 🤍🫶🏼

Friendly staff and very helpful. All rooms are built around the lovely gardens each with a balcony. Swimming pool is a nice place to relax also surrounded by gardens. Good location, 5-10 minute walk to the beach, do not expect luxury but enough comfort and value for the small price you pay. Breakfast included (banana pancake or toast, fruit, tea or coffee). Rooms are adequately clean but more attention to detail would be nice.

Positive:||The price, the large clean pool, garden area and space. Breakfast included. Extra friendly staff.||||Bed was comfortable and clean.no bed bugs.||Aircon and fan in room.||||Location is good. Shower worked well.||||Negative:||The rooms. Although cheap the rooms are pretty dirty. Toilet leaked, bathroom was not cleaned. Floor, walls, light switches, fridge, curtains and walls were dirty.||||Pity about the rooms because the actual place and staff are great. I may stay here again if I had no where else to go.||||If the rooms were cleaner I would not hesitate to return.

Room was very basic but clean enough (no aircon but fan was okay) and had little porch to sit at outside. However, pool was big and clean with little ledges round the edge to sit on which was lovely! Breakfast was a really nice banana pancake and fruit! Location is a bit out the way just because of the twisting route but we rented a bike from a place just round the corner for pretty cheap which meant we could get anywhere withing 5/10 mins! Rip you off a bit for airport transfer so shop around if possible.

Sari Cottages is located in Gang Sorga, Kuta, between Poppies 1 and 2, a nice neighborhood. The complex has a garden with pool, but is very much neglected. Rooms are very basic. The noisy AC leaks water on the table underneath (don't leave your wallet or your sigars there, in the morning you won't be a happy camper). There is a very old fridge. No chairs. The curtains do not fit, and leave a 30 centimeter crack, whatever you try. We tried to close the gap with a towell, which did not work, but gave us a few laughs.||The bathroom is renovated and okay, although the towels have huge holes.||The porch has two chairs and a table.||Breakfast is very basic, with burned pancakes. Our coffees contained all kinds of funny stuff, so we did not touch them.||The pools looks nice, but has many loose tiles. The sunloungers are old, dirty, and broken.||At night hell breaks loose from nearby clubs. We believed we were far enough from the noise, but we were very wrong. We felt the bass in our bed and did not get much sleep. Earplugs won't help. A little after 5 AM the music stopped. This place is hell.||-Positives: quiet during the day, nice neighborhood.||-Scale 1-10: 3.||-Will we ever retrun? Never.

I’m not fussy! I’ve stayed in every kind of accomodations. Backpackers home stays old hotels awesome hotels, this is the worst.||||First we booked two rooms. ||Both rooms the toilets wouldn’t flush so we were literally crapping on our old crap.||||After complaining several times nothing was ever done! It was vile. ||||The bathrooms in all the rooms are damp and unhygienic. No cleaning products are used to clean. It actually feels like if you don’t wear thongs in shower you will catch something. ||||Cockroaches! Bad lighting! Terrible water pressure!||||Revolting breakfast you get toast and a crappy bit of fruit but only powered creamer with a really foul coffee. All plates and cups are old and stained. ||||Pool area all needs a repaint and a revamp! ||||It hasn’t been painted in over twenty years. So quiet they play no traditional music or have even a water fountain there is zero atmosphere. ||||Your walls shake from the music in the near by street till 4 am. You also hear screaming thru out the night from a ride that shoots people in the air. ||||Don’t stay here unless you only want to walk home and out constantly as NO TaXI is interested in going into the narrow lanes. ||||They keep a rooster in a cruel cage 24 hours a day in the hot heat. Ready for a cock fight. ||||Gardener and other staff on another day were shoving a rooster in a plastic bag ready to go torture it at a fight. ||||Lady that lives on site has two feral dogs that tried to attach my kid when he walked past. ||||This place is VILE stay away!!!

Positive is that the pool area is really nice, pool is clean and tidy at all times and walking outside from your room its like a little forest.|Unfortunately the rooms dont look the best. Found a cockrouch in our room, named him and then threw out. Rooms look a little like sobiet union style rooms. Water pressure is kinda a joke. But the worst thing is the roosters. They decide to wake everybody up at about 2-3am. And they dont shut up until noon. So depends how heavy sleeper you are..|Tip! Beer and water are much cheaper in the reception than in the minimarkets (20k small and 30k big beer)

We stayed here twice for a few nights mainly because we liked the location and the pool. However, apart from that, this place has not much to go for it... The rooms are looking pretty tired and cleaning is not very thorough. Worst of all is the customer service. We felt like the staff was making fun of us behind our backs and they were obviously trying to work as little as possible.||When we checked in on our second stay here, they tried to give us a twin room, although we had asked for a double. When we said we wanted a double, they gave us another, more expensive room and said that's all they had. They weren't willing to negotiate the price, which was higher because it included hot water which we didn't need. This is even though we were returning customers and potentially staying long term. They just don't have any understanding of the hospitality industry.||Everything seems to be too hard for the staff here. If you need anything, fresh towels or toilet paper, you have to ask them for it. Our sink was blocked and when we told a staff member he referred us to someone else, when he should have taken charge. They couldn't fix it straight away and didn't offer another room, just left us there with a blocked sink and said it was our fault and we had broken it. ||One morning we asked to have our breakfast by the pool, because there were always a lot of smokers in the dining area, and the staff made us feel really bad about it, telling us to at least bring our dishes back ourselves so they didn't have to. I should probably mention that the pool is no further from the kitchen than the dining area... ||Cushions for the hard wooden pool lounges are only put on occasionally, when the staff has a burst of energy.||The WiFi only works in the reception area, even though, of course, they will tell you otherwise.||We felt the whole scene at this place wasn't really for us. There were a lot of dodgy seeming locals around who seemed to be offering girls to the male guests, and also quite a few girls staying there with their customers it seemed. There are also many stray cats and barking dogs and roasters will wake you up at 5am.||They say you get what you pay for but you should at least feel welcomed at any accommodation. Unfortunately, this is not so as it all seems such an inconvenience for the staff. It's a shame because this place could be nice if managed better.||Fortunately, afterwards, we found a lovely homestay (Pondok Batu Selem) around the corner. For a nicer, cleaner and newer room with air con, we are paying less and being treated like guests should be. I would stay clear of places like Sari Bali Cottages, of which there are many on Bali...
