This location of the lodge is excellent, within possibly ten minutes of the entrance to the reserve. Hard to say really as there was so much wildlife between the entrance and the lodge, including two black rhinos.
The lodge itself looks very impressive up on the hillside, the staff on arriving are extremely helpful and quicker to process you than the other lodges we visited.
The quality and choice of the food was very good. The only criticism here was that there were no fruit juices, water, tea or coffee available in the restaurant to serve yourself. Strange?
The rooms, can be quite a trek up quite a few steps and uneven path.
The room was quite basic, there was no blind on the window in the bathroom, there's no TV, but the most annoying thing is the smoke alarm! Which in an almost pitch black room illuminates the room, every twenty seconds, which was irritating.
