Sarova Mara Game Camp - Safari Lodge in Kenya

My first time in Kenya, and this hotel made it the best experience possible! From the second we walked in everyone on the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Huge shout out to Jenson who walked us through everything the hotel had to offer! We were staying in a deluxe tent and it was perfect. The housekeeping came in and freshened up the room twice a day. Probably one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in which is crazy for it being in the middle of a National Reserve. The restaurant was probably one of the best experiences of all. The staff were so kind and helpful. There was a variety of food, and it was all amazing! Lastly, the fun zone staff were absolutely outstanding! Veronica and her colleagues did a great job getting everyone in the hotel involved in activities! Such an amazing team! My stay was definitely not long enough and I will be back again soon.

Our family stayed there for 3 nights and it was phenomenal. The accommodation was great and the staff were friendly and kind. I am expectant and had special diet needs. Damaris was exceptional and took care of me from day 1 even without any request. She made sure my baby and I were always fed and I always had an extra fruit in case I needed a snack at night. I have nothing but praise for the venue, service and staff. I’m grateful for the experience.

We had the best time with our family. The rooms were great and the food was fantastic! They really catered for everyone.|We had the best time with the animator, Mr. Mathias. We did archery with him and he was an excellent teacher and trainer. He also showed us a few games and taught us some puzzles. An evening well spent.|All in all, a great experience!

This was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We stayed 3 nights in January 2025. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. They checked your meal was suitable and were extremely helpful with packed breakfast and lunch. Drinks service at the tables was a little bit slow, but this wasn’t a major problem, as we were on holiday after all. We particularly enjoyed the Maasai Mara dance performance one night, and the dancers were very interesting to talk to afterwards. We booked full board through Southern Cross who were brilliant too. We saw all the big five in the reserve and so many other animals and birds too. Thanks to everyone at the Sarova Mara

My family and I went to the Maasai Mara and booked a stay at this resort. The service was exceptional and the our tent was outstanding. The level of professionalism was superb. Special mentions go to Joel, Meshack, Damaris, Edwin and the young chef in training. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly and will definitely book our next holiday with them. Sarova continue to keep your flag flying high as you are a very well run company.

We stayed at the Club Tents and it was simply amazing. The staff was so welcoming, professional and friendly! Everyone - the housekeepers, the guards, the butlers, the chef… - was outstanding. That’s a fantastic team. Special thanks to Doreen, Joseph (from the pool) and Andrew for being so kind to us! I’d recommend the Club Tents; the tent is huge, the bed and pillows are very comfortable, shower and bathtub were great, and many amenities were included for “club members” (such as a nice choice of beverages, including wines and spirits and free laundry). The restaurant from the Club is great - don’t miss the pistachio cookie and the breads made from scratch.

Lovely, clean & the friendly staff perfectly balance warm hospitality with pride in professional service! This hotel is one of my favorites! I highly recommend the manager, a woman by the name of Damairs (sp?) who was personable and attentive. I enjoyed the architecture and grounds in general, and the fabulous assortment of cuisine in particular!
