Sarova Shaba Game Lodge

I visited this lodge with my family and had a wonderful experience. The highlight for us was the restaurant team. Moses was an excellent waiter very patient and attentive throughout our stay. Peter was incredibly kind and went out of his way to help with the children, which we truly appreciated. Elijah, the chef, was exceptional. He took the extra step of helping prepare a special dish for my dad, who is a picky eater, which was such a thoughtful and sweet gesture. He also explained the salads so well and encouraged our kids to eat, making mealtimes enjoyable. We’ll definitely be coming back to Shaba. The service was truly outstanding.

We checked in with my family on 21st December 2025 for a five-night stay, and the experience was absolutely amazing. From the delicious food to the very well-trained and friendly staff, everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel manager, Shisia, was extremely engaging and consistently checked in with us whenever we met to ensure we were enjoying our stay, which made us feel truly valued. There were plenty of activities for both kids and adults, keeping everyone busy and well entertained throughout our stay. Additionally, the clinic doctor was very friendly and attentive, promptly assisting with minor aches and injuries. Overall, it was a wonderful family getaway, and we truly enjoyed every moment.

Our room’s bathroom had been modernized, shower pressure was top but unfortunately the stone floor in the room didn’t appear to be cleaned. Juran at the front desk was an exceptional manager, accommodating our room change request with ease. The Swahili night had the best food overall but food is consistently good. The restaurant waiting staff were most professional and courteous, kudos! However, the same professionalism should be taught to the spa staff who are uncouth in the comments they make about a client’s body and asking us to get off the bed because they need to prepare for another client, 2 minutes after the massage is concluded. The lodge is more popular with families and older people, couples aiming to relax in quiet may feel a bit out of place.

Nice natural peaciful space, cool atmosphere. Clean and well set and spacious rooms. No noise disturbance only nature speaks. Clean amenities with attendands ready to help and the services are top notch, diferrent varieties of foods you can't miss an option.|Being located inside a national park sums it up as the place to be if you would with to interact with nature and don't forget River Ewaso Nyiro just next to the hotel.|This is a complete parkage for individuals, large groups and even family.|Love it.

The environment in the hotel is amazing, the rooms are great, beds are very comfortable and the rooms have a bathtub and hot water. The food needs some more variety. I really tried to get some fish foot therapy but I was too scared but I think this is very innovative. I got the chance to see a whole pride of lions on the game drive.

We had an amazing experience at the sarova shaba lounge. The service was honestly the best we've had in a long while. A special shout-out to our waiter , ISAIAH he was outstanding Attentive, friendly, and always ready to help without us even asking. He made our visit feel extra special, and we truly appreciated his professionalism and warm attitude. Highly recommended.

Sarova Shaba is truly an amazing place to be. I enjoyed my stay in the breathtaking environment, beautifully maintained and perfectly in harmony with nature. |The food was excellent with a great variety.
