Jambo!|We stayed here for the first 2 nights of our safari adventure We had a group of 13 and the hotel was very accommodating in that they always had a table big enough for us all even if we didn't always eat together. The entire facility from the rooms to the pool and all the common areas were well kept. There were also guards on the property 24/7 who were always friendly and ready to walk me to my room to avoid any wildlife encounters. The property was fenced but there were always monkeys and baboons running around. The guards were also knowledgeable about all the surrounding wildlife, birds , flowers and fauna. And if you've never tried it dip your feet in the fish pond! It takes a little getting used to but it's a free pedicure. Also there are a wide range of spa treatments available of which I took advantage and it was one of the best massages I've ever had. ||I made a friend in one of the staff whose name is Nancy. She took the time to tour me around the organic vegetable garden as I am a Master Gardner and was interested. We walked and talked about gardens, kids and being a Mom. She also taught me about Pole Pole -Swahili for slowly slowly- now that I'm home and racing around I think of her often and remember"Pole, Pole". No need to rush. Life is better that way🙏🏻

Great location. |Perfect customer service. Totally impressed by Claudia and Moses. They had us feeling like VIPS. |The meals were good but very limiting in terms of variety.|The Riku suite was nice, however, the couches could use a good clean. They were stained and makes one unsure if they should actually sit on it.

The food is amazing!! Special thanks to chef Edwin , the dessert chef as well as those that were incharge of the meat( i didn't get their names though 😅)for such wonderful meals and awesome hospitality..thankyou mercyline for serving us so well! Thankyou Jackson for the wonderful cocktail and ofcourse a huge shoutout to Nimo! One of my co travellers had a birthday and she ensured that we celebrated her to the max!!!We also got an appreciation cake on our last day ..it was definitely a wonderful experience and wouldn't mind coming back again .the only downside was that the sink in the bathroom wasn't working and it didn't get fixed when I inquired

From the moment we arrived at Shaba Game Lodge, I knew this safari experience would be special. The location is absolutely picturesque — surrounded by lush greenery, with streams running through the camp that add the perfect soundtrack of flowing water to the wild.|The rooms were spacious, clean, and designed to match the natural theme of the lodge while still being very comfortable. You truly feel immersed in nature without sacrificing comfort.|The highlight for me, however, was the Treehouse Restaurant. Dining there felt like stepping onto an Indiana Jones movie set — elevated among the trees with panoramic views, it was both adventurous and magical. The food was delicious, and the setting itself was unforgettable.|Customer service was top-notch from start to finish. The staff were warm, attentive, and seemed genuinely happy to share their hospitality. The cleanliness of the lodge was impeccable, and the overall atmosphere carried good vibes all day long — from sunrise coffee to evening relaxation.|If you’re looking for a safari stay that blends comfort, adventure, and incredible service, Shaba Game Lodge is the place. Highly recommended!

The place is around 6hrs from Nairobi its advisable to leave atleast by 6am to get a chance to take a photo at Mt ololokwe. The atmosphere is amazing all rooms have river view and one gets a chance to see crocodiles and elephants. Rooms are very clean and spacious with a tab to relax. The only sound you here are the birds and the river ewaso nyiro.service was excellent the food was amazing compliments to the chef even offering to make us ugali for breakfast. The pan fried steaks are highly recommend.

My family enjoyed their stay at the hotel as they listened to the whispers of the Ewaso Nyiro just next to the hotel, the environment was quite good, the staff were friendly, and helpful. The birthdays that were there during our stay added to the fun we had. The buffet was good and we had a game drive which we enjoyed.

Came here for the wildlife. And the grounds are stunning, plenty of wildlife to see. However spoiled by the staff slingshot ting at monkeys when they are up trees, we were watching them from our window and the colourful birds. The staff chased them all away.|I can understand scaring them away from poolside or restaurant, but from the tree tops surrounding the accommodation was completely unnecessary.|Spoiled our stay

The service was so great 👍 Workers are also friendly, all of them. They are so welcoming, happy all the time, just know this is the best place for relaxing. I advise everyone to choose sarova hotels.
