SAS Hotel Mignon

It was loud. Could hear everyone walking outside the room, above you and also outside. The breakfast area was SO loud, the clanging dishes early morning were quite disturbing. Rooms were very clean, bright and ac worked great. Shower was very small. I would stay here again! Great hidden gem.

The location of the hotel is excellent and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good. There is a Carrefour nearby and it is 100 meters from the main street (Center). The only problem was that the television was not enabled to watch Netflix.

I found my way to Hotel Mignon by devine intervention.....My party and I arrived in Sorrento on 9-7, about 6:30pm..and discovered our hotel reservation at another hotel had been cancelled...discovered this cancellation can be blamed on me. Regardless we are in Sorrento on a very busy Sat.night with nothing...no lodging, no cellphone power for surfing, dog tired from traveling all day and basically in a mess...fully prepared to spend the night at the train station. At this point I was desperate and a cab driver referred me a hotel that was full but that hotel found me a room at Hotel Mignon for one night and I gratefully took it.....The next morning Carla with Mignon started working the phone and found us a room for the next three nights...as they were booked, and off we went. This review is more about going the second mile for a customer..than a simple hotel review....Going the second mile really tells one about why Hotel Mignon is successful....they are in the help business as well as the Hotel business......for the hotel business, their rooms are spacious with a spacious bath and good AC ( important for us Americans).....they have a very good breakfast and they are located in the city center..probably 15 minutes from the train station.....Carla went above and beyond and found lodging at another hotel, The attitude depicted by this hotel tells me you cannot go wrong by staying here.....Carla....Thank you for helping save our stay in Sorrento.....Larry Wood--Woodstock Ga. This is a great little hotel in a central location with easy access to many shops, bars and restaurants. The breakfast was lovely with lots of choice and there is a little courtyard that you can use if you prefer to eat outside.

Wonderful. Very kind and helpful staff, clean property and room, fantastic location for our needs. A good central location in Sorrento to serve as a base for day trips in the area. There is even a small grocery next door.

This is a lovely little hotel and the staff are very welcoming. The breakfast is lovely with plenty of choice, which you can eat on a little outside courtyard and the hotel is in a perfect location, close to a main street with many bars and restaurants

Really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Great location very close to the heart of the city and train. Located right next to store as well which was very convenient. Room was very clean and bright and breakfast was nice as well with great coffee.

The position of the hotel could not be better, it's right at the heart of the city, just around the corner from the main street. We've been coming to Sorrento at for years and have never stayed at a hotel with a better position. The nearest car park is a few minutes away, and the train station is also within easy walking distance. (If you arrive by car on a busy weekend, which was our case, parking can be tricky, but that's normal in the area.) Recently renovated hotel, and the room and public areas were super-clean. Very friendly personnel. The room had almost everything for a comfortable stay. It would have been nice to have slippers in the room. The tile floors are absolutely beautiful but can be a bit chilly in the winter. There was just only one problem: in spite of being recently renovated, the building has not been soundproofed well. It's located in a pedestrian area in the historic center so there's no traffic noise, the issue is inside the building. You can hear what's happening in the neighboring rooms, and the worst was the banging noise the heavy room doors make when you close them. Fortunately, there were no "party people" staying at the hotel this weekend but the door banging and other sounds were quite invasive, especially in the mornings. Even so, we enjoyed our time in Sorrento, the hotel is absolutely lovely otherwise!
