We had a great lunch. We had a multi-course meal including a lovely range of dishes. I really enjoyed the soup broths, sesame sauce on top of the turnip, and option to select the cold or hot noddles. The cold noodles were delicious. Loved the matcha with the dessert which was a lovely combo of bitter and sweet. Beautiful space designed with Hiroshi Sugimoto, whose photographs and art I love.

The place is definitely aesthetic, but the service needs a lot of improvement. When we arrived, there were only a few people inside, but by the time our desserts came - after quite a long wait - everyone else had already left. And these were cold items, so there was no reason for the delay. No one checked in on us the entire time, and I had to call out into the empty space just to get a water refill. The desserts themselves were pretty underwhelming and forgettable. I do not recommend this spot.

I had the 茶酒 金田中のコース (lunch course). There were 3 lunch courses, the above was the middle one in terms of food quantity and price (JPY 5,000). The food was really good taste-wise, quantity was decent as well. Although service was good, it could be better. They were good enough to not use pork lard when cooking, as I don't like pork. The part that could be improved is to be consistent with good service even when it gets very busy. I would definitely be back.

I recently visited "Kane Tanaka" in Omotesando with my sister and cousin. It was our first time meeting together in Tokyo in 4-5 years, making it a truly special gathering. The Japanese restaurant had an ambiance of a museum, with an interior that was incredibly sophisticated and elegantly designed. The lunch course menu was a delightful experience, starting with a refreshing cold soup and a cold appetizer. For the main dishes, I chose half size of sushi and cold matcha soba noodles, which were both exquisite. The meal concluded with a small dessert and a drink. Each dish was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The three of us thoroughly enjoyed chatting about old memories while savoring the stunningly beautiful and tasty dishes. "Kane Tanaka" in Omotesando offers the perfect blend of casual dining and high-end Japanese cuisine, making it an unforgettable experience.

One of my favorite places in Tokyo. it's a great escape from the crowds of omotesando for tea and Japanese desserts. the matcha is amazingly good and it's relaxing to stay in this tea house.

The dessert was nice but small and pricy. The female staff was impassive and uncaring. When I went check there was no one in the counter and I kept waiting. Pity, a nice space.

I was delighted to find this hidden haven while exploring Omote-sando. On my never-ending quest for the rare thin, delicate style of Inaniwa udon, this perfect little bowl with beef and green onion satisfied my hopes for my visit to Japan. A light dessert was portioned perfectly for one (I chose fig creme brûlée, the least Japanese of the menu, but it features several options with red bean and a couple of anmitsu) I can tell it would be even more beautiful and relaxing during the daytime when the botanical view is visible.

Amazing view, sophisticated dishes, beautiful presentation and excellent service. What else you want more. I had ¥5000 course lunch. It was just lovely.

For a boogie and fun experience, you should give this place a shot. This is a fancy dessert and tea/drink place. We waited about an hour to get in. They have a nice little garden view from the window where you can enjoy the view while eating dessert. Menu is on the pricier side and dessert isn't that big size. I got the strawberry daifuku one where you make it yourself. I'm very impressed by how perfect the strawberries are. Their strawberries are red and fresh and sweet. It's pretty fun to put your mochi together. I paired it with matcha as it give a good balance between sweet and bitter. You're not suppose to be very loud at this place as for most places in Japan. It was a relaxing experience during the rainy day. Desserts is pretty good.

High end desserts. Great service, decor and view. Be prepared to spend $10-$15 USD per dessert item and drink.

'This is one of my favorite Japanese cafe operated by Kanetanaka, which is one of the four famous high end traditional Japanese Ryotei restaurant. Ryotei is a type of traditional Japanese restaurant. Traditionally Ryotei only accepts new customer by referral only, and a place where high level business or political meetings take place discreetly. This is a modern casual cafe operated by Kanetanaka. The portions are small bit this is the the style of authentic Japanese cuisine.

It's pretty good. Service is 8.5 out of 10, but the food is 10-10. Portion is small, so be prepared. It's very easy beginner course to understand Japanese quinine in authentic approach.
